Teen Ghostbusters is the story of three teens that travel around their small town of Moira answering the call of residents who are experiencing hauntings in their homes. They have many different gadgets that snare the entities allowing them to safely remove them.
The Ghostbuster's are made up of Dylan, 15, the strong, brainy leader. Dylan is an avid hockey player who does well in school. He's a cool dude with an awesome sense of humor. He's tall, thin and muscular; quite the eye candy. Dylan is cool, calm and collected, which comes in handy dealing with a ghost that needs to be reasoned with.
Little sister Meadow, 10, is the devilish one. She's pushy, annoying, pouty and moody. She's lots of fun but don't make her mad. She's average height but a bit on the chunky side. She loves to sing and watch the Disney channel. Even though Meadow's the "baby" of the bunch, she's quite the fighter and has no problems bringin down the nastiest ghosts.
Raynie, 12, is their cousin. Tall for her age she is often mistaken for older. She's intelligent and really knows her way around technical gadgets. It's her job to keep all the equipment up and running. For fun she enjoys video games and reading. Raynie does well with the playful ghosts. She is shy and laid back, not an aggressive bone in her body. The wrong ghost would make her run for her life.
The three get around town on their bikes, toting their equipment on their backs. They live next door to eachother allowing them plenty of time to meet in their clubhouse cradled in the bough of the huge tree between their homes. They are three typical kids who love to have fun but when they hear the call, they answer without a second thought. Choose a ghostbuster below and follow along as they embark on their newest adventures.
[[Dylan]]
Our story opens with Dylan, Meadow and Raynie sitting in their clubhouse high up in the tree talking about the town's recent ghost activity.
It appears that there are three current hauntings that have been keeping several of the townsfolk on edge. The "Teen Ghostbusters" have been asked to help.
[[Raynie]]
Dylan informs them of a new haunting that's right up Raynie's alley. The family reporting says there's no harmful activity, just a lot of things being knocked off tables, broken and noises that wake them at night. Raynie agrees to take the job and heads out.
[[Meadow]]
Meadow spends the night at her friend Grace's. It is a sleepover for Grace's little sister, Melody.
Meadow notices that Grace's dad isn't happy. Meadow asks her friend why her dad looks so sad. Grace tells Meadow that her mommy died having Melody and that her daddy was always sad on this day.
As night falls the older children gather around the camp fire and share ghost stories. Eventually they come to the story of a local legend and the haunted history of the old house located on the outskirts of town.
In the 16th century a young married couple moved to town. They were a beautiful couple, friendly and well liked. A few years later the husband became very ill, incurable the local doctor had said. The young wife desperate to save her husband sought help from a coven of witches that lived in a neighboring town. When the townfolk got wind of it they tried to chase the young couple out of town. The young woman barricaded herself inside the home and was never seen or heard from again. Years passed and only the stories lived on but whenever anyone tried to approach the house they were scared away by loud moans. To this day no one knows what happened to the young couple.
Meadow meets up with her friends after the party and tells them all about the huanted house. She tells them she is going to go investigate. The three gather their equipment and head out to the house.
The three most popular stories were:
[[They snuck off in the night helped by the witches]]
[[Both had been killed by the townfolk]]
[[The husband had succombed to his illness]]
Dylan has been called to the home of Rebecca Watson ( The hot classmate he has been wanting to ask out on a date. Perhaps this will be the opening he has been looking for). She explains that odd things have been happening at home and was hoping he and the ghostbusters could check it out for her.
Rebecca's father says, "I've been going through old pictures lately and they all went missing a few days ago. I can't even find the picture frames we had out on the mantle."
Rebecca's mother says, "I've been trying to play my beautiful orchestral albums. They're classics. Whenever I play them, the stereo is knocked off the stand. Just this morning I found my favorite Debussy compilation shattered into pieces. It's horrible."
Rebecca, 16, says that every morning when she lays out her school clothes she goes back to find that they have been replaced with old fashioned dresses. The son, 12, giggles and runs for the basement shouting, "The English way is the only way."
Dylan tries to follow the son into the basement but the door is jammed. He wrestles with the door-knob until and eerie English voice yells out, "Get out you filthy traitor! French music and rebel flags, BAH!"
Dylan decides to search the house for a way to open the door. Starting in the living room he finds an old locket but is unable to open it. He shows it to the sister. "Ugh! That thing. He's been yelling about Spanish, the French and pirates ever since he found that thing when we first moved in. He use to have some pretty nasty nightmares but they seem to have stopped since he found that though. I think it calms him down somehow. The whole England rules thing is getting a little ole though."
Dylan returns to the basement door with the locket. The apparition of an old, crusty, sea Captain waits for him, "What do you want?"
[[England sucks]]
[[Um, nevermind]]
[[The English way is the only way]]Meadow climbs the stairs; a cold draft brushes past her. She follows it down the hall and into the room at the far end. Inside the room she sees the ghost of the young woman standing by the window. She is beautiful and so sad. Her moan more of a lament than a frightening scream. Meadow is about to talk to her when she spies another figure standing in the shadows. It is Grace's dad. Meadow asks him what he is doing here? The father replies:
[[He is looking for Grace and Melody]]
[[He is the woman's husband]]
[[His face becomes tormented and he begins chasing Meadow]]When Raynie arrives the family isn't home but the back door is unlocked. She enters noticing that everything seems perfectly fine and quiet. She calls out but there is no answer. Raynie decides to explore. As soon as she steps into the kitchen her ghost tracking device starts beeping, there is definitely something or someone there. Suddenly a cabinet door under the sink swings open, then one of the chairs is knocked over, next the rug scoots across the floor as is someone ran and slid on it.
What should Raynie do?.
[[grab a bag of chips and set up the trap]]
[[chase the ghost with the tracker]]
[[hide behind the counter]]
Dylan is thrown from the home and must start over.

[[living room]]Dylan is sent to the kitchen to speak with the mother.
[[kitchen]]As if by magic the locket opens revealing the photos of a beautiful woman and a young boy.
Captain, "You are correct lad. These depict a family and that is a greater treasure than any other."
The Captain attempts to ruffle Rebecca's kid brother's hair but his hand merely passes through the boy's head.
The Captain continues, "You see, I never got to say goodbye to my wife and son. I imagine my son to have been much like Eric here. Had terrible nightmares too. Took care of that with a few good stories and songs. Nothing erases fear like a good old song."
Dylan aks the Captain about the locket.
Captain, "An old family heirloom I gave to young Eric here. Never had the chance to give it to my own boy."
Dylan has three choices:
[[break the locket]]
[[threaten the Captain]]
[[reason with the Captain]]Dylan speaks with the father about treasure but the father knows nothing. Dylan must start over.
[[Clubhouse]]Dylan speaks to the mother about treasure but the mother knows nothing. Dylan must start over.
[[Clubhouse]]Dylan breaks the locket which sends the Captain into the afterlife and the son runs screaming up to his room. Will the nightmares return?

Captain, "How so?"
"For one, Rebecca's clothes."
Captain, "The girl was barely wearing undergarments. Thought I'd save her from the cold and the ungentlemanly stares."
Dylan, "The records?"
Captain, "Nasty Frenchy music. Saving the woman's ears."
Dylan, "You're still causing a lot of trouble. Could you tone it down?"
The Captain gives a sheepish grin, "I'd know idea it was causing them distress. I'll behave meself. Sailor's honor."

Dylan receives a letter from Rebecca:
So that Captain is actually pretty cool. I never knew I'd enjoy history so much. My friends at school are going to be soooo jealous. How many girls get to lay claim to their very own ghost Captain? Thanks for the help Dilly. Maybe we could hang out at the dance. You're kind of cute you know. Call me!"

[[Clubhouse]]He tells Meadow that his girls have run away. Meadow tells him not to worry that she and her friends are the Ghostbusters. That they will find them and bring them home but that he needed to leave. The house is dangerous and they are here to trap the ghost. The father leaves. Meadow and her friends trap the ghost and send it into the afterlife. On their way out they find the girls hiding in a closet. They had followed the Ghostbusters to see what they were doing.
Sorry, you must start over to find the truth.
[[Clubhouse]]He tells Meadow that he had been saved by witchcraft and would live forever. That his wife had passed and that her friend's mother had looked so much like his bride he had taken over the husband's body to be with her. That since Grace's mother had died giving birth to Melody, he had once again become very lonely and so he returned at night to visit Emily, his first and only true love. This explained why he had appeared so sad earlier at Grace's party. Not only had he lost one wife, but two. He went on to say that his wedding ring was that of his and Emily's and whenever he wore it, he could hear her and feel her and this made him happy. Meadow asked why he didn't wear it all the time. He said that it was part of the spell. That if he wore it to much his time here on earth would end and he would be trapped in this house forever. That he was saddened because he wanted to be with Emily but he also wanted to be with his girls.
Meadow understood, grabbed her friends and left. Back at the clubhouse she told them the tale of her friend's dad and the tough decisions he faced. That he would never truly be happy because he could never have both of his loves, Emily and his girls. The three friends felt bad for him...but what could they do? "Perhaps," Meadow said, "Perhaps one day I will think of something. But for now, we will save that for another day".
Congrats, you have solved the case.

At the bottom she collides head on with Dylan and Raynie. They grab their stuff and run from the house. This ghost is to big and powerful for them to handle alone.
Sorry, care to try again?

[[Raynie]]Not a good idea. May end up here all day.
[[Raynie]]Nothing here either.
[[grab a bag of chips and set up the trap]]As soon as Raynie enters the laundry room her tracker goes off and a pile of clothes begins moving across the floor. How should Raynie proceed?
[[scare the ghost by shouting "BOO"]]
[[poke the pile of laundry with her foot]]
[[bang on the dryer and make a loud noise]]Nothing in here
[[grab a bag of chips and set up the trap]]Suddenly the pile barks and the figure of a ghost darts out from under the pile of clothes and scurries back into the kitchen and smack dab into the trap.
Raynie sits down on the floor next to the trap and gently places her hand inside. The ghost puppy barks happily and tries to lick her hand. Raynie giggles.
The family comes home and sees Raynie playing on the floor with the puppy.
What should Raynie do?

[[raynie brings the puppy back to the clubhouse]]When the teen ghostbusters arrive at the haunted house they hear the mournful sobs of a young woman. They ask outloud why she are you so sad and she tells them her story.
Young woman, "My husband is sick. I took him to the witches for help but when I returned for our things, the townsfolk captured me and burned me at the stake. They called me a witch. I begged for my life but they showed no mercy. Now I am stuck in this house and I cannot get back to my husband. Will you help me?"
The three go their separate ways in search of the ghost.
[[Meadow]]Inside the house the ghostbusters could feel the chill. Above them they could hear the low moans of someone in pain. Below they heard what sounded like someone digging. They separate and go in search of whatever they can find to help free this house of it's history of being haunted. From behind a curtain to their right a ghostly figure watches guardedly as the teens move away in to adjacent areas of the home. But it is Meadow that it chooses to pursue.
[[Meadow]]Once inside the ghostbusters separate and go in search of the source of the so-called hauntings. In a room behind the kitchen Dylan finds what looks like a hobby room. It is filled with model train sets. A huge track encircles the room. In the center stands the apparition of a man. Seeing Dylan he evaporates and rushes passed Dylan, leaving him chilled by the whisp of air that surges by him. Dylan spins around and catches a glimpse of the ghost as he whips past Meadow on the stairs.
