You are in the centre of the AR Stadium and all around you is a crowd cheering ambivalently for both teams. The stadium is massive and seats well over a hundred thousand fanatics. Close to you are your four squadmates. Two of them are familiar - your clanmates, Kern and Lobo. The other pair are randoms.
Across from you are the opponents - a couple of tryhards, a scrub, a noob and then an elite gamer that matches you in skill, execution and knowledge of the game. You make eye contact with the elite and they recognize that you are also dangerous.
The match will start shortly and everyone is already warmed-up. The empty space in the middle of the stadium will soon transform from the Lobby area to the game Map. All of the players and fans have their Augmented Reality goggles on. The map will present itself as the Courtyard of an Ancient Temple. That map was voted for by the players while you were in the Lobby mode of the match.
[[Give your squad a pep talk.]]

(set: $Leader to $Leader + 1)
You have gained status as a Leader with a rating of $Leader.
You decide to take on the role of the leader for your squad. Your experience and success in the game suggests that you be the one to impart wisdom and give advice before the match begins.
[[Warn the randoms to not play like randoms.]]
[[Set a strat for the whole squad.]]
[[Let the squad know you'll call strats once the match starts.]]
You are the strong silent type and don't see the point in telling people how to do their thing beforehand. You straighten-out your Kevlar vest and make sure your boots are tightly laced. You are ready to do battle.
[[Start the match.]]
The randoms look as if they don't care about the value of teamwork. You give them a quick warning not to jack kills or push for power weapons that they don't know how to use effectively.
[[Start the match.]]
Kern and Lobo are waiting to here what your plan is. The randoms seem attentive too.
[[Tell the squad to rush the neutral zone and support you getting the power weapon.]]
[[Tell Lobo to support leader.]]
[[Tell the randoms to camp the back area and watch for flanking.]]
The AR Stadium hosts Guardian matches which suits you fine. There are different versions of Guardian depending on the stadium, but these rules are your preferred ones. Kern will be first round leader for your team. As long as Kern stays alive, the rest of the squad will be able to respawn when killed. If Kern dies, the squad will be on their last life.
You notice that their first round leader is the elite, known arrogantly as "Hero". Whoever kills Hero will be the leader in the next round otherwise the leader in the next round will be the highest scoring player on your squad.
The AR Stadium produces a simple framework structure made of plastic and metal, but the audience and players see an elaborate holographic courtyard in an ancient temple through their Augmented Reality goggles.
[[Switch to your Shotgun and fire off a round.]]
[[Keep your assault rifle out.]]
(set: $Tank to $Tank + 1)
You have gained status as a Tank with a rating of $Tank.
The randoms seem uninterested in your leadership, but Lobo and Kern take note of the strat.
[[Start the match.]]
Lobo is a loyal squad mate who appreciates leadership qualities. You can trust Lobo to support the leader as suggested.
[[Start the match.]]
The randoms hear your advice about camping the back of the map, but only one seems interested in respecting your commands.
[[Start the match.]]
The match begins where you and your squad are at the top of a staircase in the courtyard. Kern heads into one side of the temple to grab grenades. Lobo stops halfway down the staircase to provide you with cover fire, becoming part of the rush on the neutral zone while also keeping an eye on leader. One of the randoms follows Kern and heads to the back area of the temple, while the second random follows you to the bottom of the staircase into the neutral zone.
You spot that their leader, Hero, has gone for grenades on their side of the map. The rest of the opponent squad is rushing the neutral zone. You start to wonder if they are a stacked team. The lead opponent is "Veeate" and wants to take you on.
[[Lefty glitch the 'P1' pillar in the neutral zone.]]
[[Switch to your rifle and hang back to see what Veeate is planning.]]

(set: $Tryhard to $Tryhard + 1)
You have gained status as a Tryhard with a rating of $Tryhard.
You roll back and rifle Veeate but they are sponging the shots. You wonder whether they have a host advantage in the AR Stadium. Did they pay someone under the table to get a subtle connection advantage with the hologram interface?
[[Strafe Veeate.]]
[[2-Piece Veeate.]]
(set: $Legit to $Legit + 1)
You have gained status as Legit with a rating of $Legit.

(set: $Camper to $Camper + 1)
You have gained status as a Camper with a rating of $Camper.
(set: $Elite to $Elite + 1)
You have gained status as an Elite with a rating of $Elite.
You use some caution with the aggressive 4-man rush. Veeate is interested in k/d ratio only. Knowing that, you anticipate the unskilled tryhard committing to overextension in the neutral zone.
Veeate backs off though and tries to pick up the power weapon.
[[Throw a smoke grenade and rush Veeate with a shotgun.]]
[[Help the random take down the other opponents and let Veeate have the power weapon.]]
[[Rifle down Veeate when they pick up the power weapon.]]
(set: $Tank to $Tank + 1)
You have gained status as a Tank with a rating of $Tank.
(set: $Elite to $Elite + 1)
You have gained status as an Elite with a rating of $Elite.
Veeate is intimidated by shows of force. The smoke grenade causes Veeate to swap shotgun for rifle. You anticipate the cowardice and hang back slightly. When the smoke clears, you realize that two of your own shots have already made good contact. Veeate is four'd and scrambling to get away from your next shot.
Your random teammate smacks Veeate from the side and Veeate goes down.
[[Take the down.]]
[[Let the random have the kill.]]
(set: $Leader to $Leader + 1)
You have gained status as a Leader with a rating of $Leader.
You help your random teammate deal with the rest of the opponents and with the help of Lobo crossing from the mid-staircase, you make short work of them. You get two kills before a third opponent skulks back to Hero. Veeate has been given an opportunity to pick up the power weapon but doesn't have the skill to use it properly. Veeate's first two shots miss miserably. Your random teammate and you get some clean shots on Veeate and they go down. The random got the down, but you had the two clean shots that had Veeate four-pointed.

[[Pick up the power weapon.]]
[[Let the random pick up the power weapon.]]
(set: $Skill to $Skill + 1)
You have gained status as Skilled with a rating of $Skill.
You skillfully zig-zag strafe on the tryhard scrub, Veeate. Veeate has no chance against your chainsaw bayonette. You saw them in half and they die.
You can see that the random and Lobo have handled the other players in the neutral zone.
(set: $Kills to $Kills + 1)
You have a kill added to your stats. You have $Kills kills in the match.
[[Pick up the power weapon.]]
[[Let the random pick up the power weapon.]]
(set: $Trash to $Trash + 1)

You have a kill added to your stats. You have $Kills kills in the match.
[[Pick up the power weapon.]]
[[Let the random pick up the power weapon.]]
(set: $Beast to $Beast + 1)
You have gained status as a Beast with a rating of $Beast.
You keep duelling Veeate but they sponge your best shots. You roll and strafe with perfect timing but it isn't enough. Surely, Veeate bribed one of the officials at the AR Stadium for a connection advantage with the hologram interface.
You get blasted in the face and feel a pin prick just below one of your eyes. You know that in the match this means you just had your head popped. The crowd jeers feeling that Veeate didn't deserve the kill.
(set: $Deaths to $Deaths + 1)

[[Wait to see which side of the map the opponents respawn at.]]
[[Rush the leader, Hero.]]
[[Double back to check up on Lobo and Kern.]]
You let the random pick up the power weapon. The random rushes the leader, Hero.
You consider backing up the random, but wonder where the opponents will respawn. Kern has been pretty quiet too, so you have to wonder how the rest of the squad is doing.
[[Wait to see which side of the map the opponents respawn at.]]
[[Rush the leader, Hero.]]
[[Double back to check up on Lobo and Kern.]]
(set: $Beast to $Beast + 1)
You have gained status as a Beast with a rating of $Beast.
You respawn on the opponent's side. As you come out of spawn, things seem quiet. You have a feeling that all of the opponents are on your squad's side. This could be bad news as Kern and Lobo could be getting flanked.
[[Grab power weapon.]]
[[Head to the bottom of the staircase and try to flank Hero]]
[[Roadie to Kern and Lobo to back them up.]]
(set: $Leader to $Leader + 1)
You have gained status as a Leader with a rating of $Leader.
You respawn on your side and check to make sure your connection is clean. You swap to your shotgun and fire off a round. You get an active round loaded and feel smooth movement coming back down the staircase. As you get to the mid-staircase you look into the temple to see how Kern and Lobo are doing.
They are busy battling the opposing leader, Hero.

[[Pick up the power weapon.]]
[[Let the random pick up the power weapon.]]
You pause to let the random squadmate have the down. The random doesn't seem to understand your deferral. In that awkward moment you hear the ding of a grenade hitting the pillar. Hero has thrown a grenade from the mid-staircase. The grenade is well-placed and you have a sensation that feels like a jab to the stomach which you know means that you have died.
(set: $Deaths to $Deaths + 1)

The opponents respawn on Kern.
[[Track down their leader, Hero.]]
[[Go support your leader, Kern.]]
(set: $Beast to $Beast + 1)
You have gained status as a Beast with a rating of $Beast.
You trust Lobo and Kern to handle, so the thing to do is rush their leader, Hero. You head into the temple on the opponent's side and see grenades.
[[Pick up the grenades.]]
[[Track down their leader, Hero.]]
[[Roadie run the grenades and roll back.]]
(set: $Leader to $Leader + 1)
You have gained status as a Leader with a rating of $Leader.
The opponents have spawned on Kern, so it was a smart move to double back and support your leader. You see two of the opponents heading into the temple from your team's side and they don't seem to realize that you are behind them. However, Lobo and Kern are already fighting Hero at the back end of the temple.
[[Go support your leader, Kern.]]
(set: $Beast to $Beast + 1)
You have gained status as a Beast with a rating of $Beast.

[[Head toward your opponent's side of the temple.]]
(set: $Leader to $Leader + 1)

[[Pick up the grenades inside the temple.]]
[[Rush to help Kern and Lobo.]]
(set: $Elite to $Elite + 1)
You have gained status as an Elite with a rating of $Elite.

(set: $Beast to $Beast + 1)
You have gained status as a Beast with a rating of $Beast.
By the time you get to the back end of the opponent's side of the temple, you can hear that the battle is actually at the back end of your squad's side of the temple. Kern and Lobo are calling for help because they are pinned down by respawners.
[[Rush to the battle.]]
[[Take caution and check for planted grenades.]]
(set: $Leader to $Leader + 1)
You have gained status as a Leader with a rating of $Leader.

[[Rush to the battle.]]
(set: $Trash to $Trash + 1)
You have gained status as Trash with a rating of $Trash.
You fail to check whether there was a planted grenade on the piller just in front of the free grenades. You realize your error too late. In addition, while you are waiting to respawn you can see that Kern has been killed by a grenade along with Lobo which was thrown by Hero. Veeate has taken down the randoms on your team. It is just you now left to clutch the round.
(set: $Deaths to $Deaths + 1)

[[Respawn and hide.]]
(set: $Skill to $Skill + 1)

When you reach the neutral area at the back of the temple, you notice Kern and Lobo battling Hero. Your squadmates are about to be pinned down by respawners.
[[Rush to the battle.]]
[[Take caution and check for planted grenades.]]
(set: $Trash to $Trash + 1)
You have gained status as Trash with a rating of $Trash.
You rush to the battle but forget to check for planted grenades. Hero had left one in the neutral zone after committing to pushing Kern. You die to the grenade unfortunately.
In addition, while you are waiting to respawn you can see that Kern and Lobo have been killed by Hero. Veeate has taken down the randoms on your team. It is just you now left to clutch the round.
(set: $Deaths to $Deaths + 1)

(set: $Tryhard to $Tryhard + 1)
You have gained status as a Tryhard with a rating of $Tryhard.
You take some caution looking for planted grenades. You roadie and roll back on every pillar just in case. The time that this takes has allowed the opponents to kill Kern, Lobo and the randoms. You will have to clutch the round.
[[Double back and hold down the opponent's grenade spawn area.]]
[[Rush the opponents hoping they have been softened up.]]
(set: $Tank to $Tank + 1)
You have gained status as a Tank with a rating of $Tank.
You respawn on your squad's side but realize that the opponents have already gained control of the temple and the grenade spawn on that side. There is no chance to grab grenades. Instead, you decide to race all the way to the other side of the map and grab the other set of nades from your opponent's side of the temple.
The best option now is to hold the grenades and race up the opponent's staircase and enter their spawn area.
[[Hold grenades.]]
(set: $Camper to $Camper + 1)
You have gained status as a Camper with a rating of $Camper.
You respawn but carefully hide in spawn. The opponents check the entire map while you wait for someone to catch on to your location. As you hear an opponent approaching you prepare for them.
[[Lefty glitch the wall.]]
[[Rev up your rifle's chainsaw bayonette.]]
You have successfully made it back to the opponent's side of the temple and you are in the grenade spawn area. You have grenades available which you can plant or hold.
[[Plant grenades.]]

(set: $Tank to $Tank + 1)
You have gained status as a Tank with a rating of $Tank.
(set: $Leader to $Leader + 1)
You have gained status as a Leader with a rating of $Leader.
You rush the opponents and manage to get a clean shot on Veeate. Veeate dies which throws off Hero. Hero hesitates not trusting the randoms to help. You exploit this situation and manage to kill Hero with a shotgun blast.
However, in the time that it takes to down the two opponents, one of the respawner opponents has used grenades from your side of the temple and thrown them at your feet. The pair of grenades are well-thrown and air-burst on you giving you no chance to roll over them. You die and the round has been lost by your squad.

(set: $Camper to $Camper + 1)
You have gained status as a Camper with a rating of $Camper.
(set: $Skill to $Skill + 1)
You have gained status as Skilled with a rating of $Skill.
You plant your first grenade at the grenade spawn in a sneaky way where the planted nade looks like one that can be picked up freely. You rush to the back of the temple area and look for a spot to plant the second grenade.
The opponents are rushing you at the back. You have just enough time to plant a grenade and roll back. Veeate rushes and runs past the grenade, sponging the damage. In fact, you take more damage than Veeate, which seems unfair. Veeate gets a lousy shot on you, but you are already damaged by the grenade. You are downed.
Veeate does a little teabag seemingly oblivious to the reality that they didn't earn the kill from skill. You are stomped and die.
(set: $Deaths to $Deaths + 1)
You have a death added to your stats. You have $Deaths deaths in the match.
[[Rage Quit.]]
[[Get ready for Round 2.]]
You hold the grenades but decide that hiding in spawn will be the best course of action. You get to spawn and set up on the wall. The opponents spotted you heading to spawn and are tracking you down. You hear them entering spawn quickly, eager to kill you and finish the round.
[[Lefty glitch the wall.]]
[[Rev up your rifle's chainsaw bayonette.]]
[[Throw grenades at the entrance to spawn.]]
Round 2 will begin shortly. All of the players are now aware of some changes to the match - one of the randoms on your squad has left the match and will be replaced by a bot, while the opponent's squad has a player that is AFK. It is possible that this gamer could start playing at any time during the match.
For the next round you will be leader. There is an announcement that the match is going to have a brief intermission. You aren't sure what to expect.
A hacker accesses your AR goggles and introduces themselves. Their name is Mytnik. They offer you the chance to exploit some cheats that will guarantee your squad victory in the match. Mytnik seems interested in betting on the match.
[[Ignore Mytnik and start Round 2.]]
[[Check out Mytnik's store.]]
Feeling that the AR Stadium has allowed a significant amount of connection rigging and exploits by your opponents, you have had enough of rolling with loaded dice, so to speak. Your random opponents seem pretty useless and you feel that your time is better spent in a new match with opponents who are less tryhard.
You quit the match not feeling rage per se, but instead pity for players who don't have the skills to play the game legit or in a way that makes the match fun, challenging and competitive. You may be a sore loser, but it is better than being a poor sport.
By rage quitting you have added a loss to your record.

How to read your stats:
If you have a higher "Cheater" score than "Elite" score then you prefer to game uncompetitively as a means of achieving.
If you have a higher "Elite" score than "Cheater" score then you prefer to game competitively as a means of achieving.
If you have a higher "Tryhard" score than "Legit" score then you prefer to pad your k/d stats whatever way possible.
If you have a higher "Legit" score than "Tryhard" score then you prefer to have the respect of the other players.
If you have a higher "Exploiter" score than "Skill" score then you prefer using easy tools in the game mechanics as a means of achieving.
If you have a higher "Skill" score than "Exploiter" score then you prefer mastery of the tougher game mechanics as a means of achieving.
If you have a higher "Camper" score than "Tank" score then you prefer to play cautiously and preserve your life.
If you have a higher "Tank" score than "Camper" score then you prefer risky play and flirtations with death.
If you have a higher "Trash" score than "Beast" score then you push recklessly, lack knowledge of standard gameplay and show less respect for your opponents.
If you have a higher "Beast" score than "Trash" score then you push aggressively and confidently, with knowledge of the map and standard gameplay.
If your "Leader" score is your highest score in the ratings list, then you are a leader in the game who emphasizes teamwork and has great sense of the flow of gameplay. You evaluate matchups and situations with intelligence and sensible calculation.
Calculate your Gaming Capital:
1) Take the matchups in ratings and put a negative sign in front of the first set (ie. Cheat, Tryhard, Exploiter, Camper, Trash),
2) Sum the matchups,
3) Sum the results of the matchups,
4) Add the leader score,
5) Calculate your kill/death ratio,
6) Multiply the grand sum by the k/d ratio,
7) Count a win as +10 and a loss as -10
For example, with these stats...
Win: 0
Loss: 1
Kills: 5
Downs: 2
Deaths: 2
Cheater: 4 vs. Elite: 3
Tryhard: 2 vs. Legit: 3
Exploiter: 1 vs. Skill: 4
Camper: 2 vs. Tank: 2
Trash: 3 vs. Beast: 1
Leader: 6
Calculate your Gaming Capital...
(Step 1 and 2)
-4 + 3 = -1
-2 + 3 = 1
-1 + 4 = 3
-2 + 2 = 0
-3 + 1 = -2
(Step 3)
-1 + 1 + 3 + 0 + -2 = 1
(Step 4)
1 + 6 = 7
(Step 5)
5/2 = 2.5 k/d
(Step 6)
7 * 2.5 = 17.5
(Step 7)
17.5 - 10 = 7.5
The Gaming Capital for this set of stats would be 7.5. You Gaming Capital is a relative measure within a community of gamers.

[[Quick scope snipe Hero.]]

You start to strafe and roll while you crossfire on Hero. You are still a good distance away from the action, but the shots are enough to help Lobo and Kern down the enemy leader.
It is a good thing you are strafing and rolling because there was a planted grenade at the back of the neutral area that Hero put there in case of flanking. In addition, Veeate was backing up the enemy leader and is now in your face. Veeate can't predict your movement so their first two shots don't do much damage.
[[Wall bounce Veeate.]]

Lobo has already dealt with two opponents that were flanking. The randoms dispose of Veeate after respawning and find the last opponent in spawn not playing. Your squad has won the first round and you will be leader for the next.

[[Take the downed leader.]]
(set: $Trash to $Trash + 1)
You have gained status as Trash with a rating of $Trash.
Kern has just died, but you are out of options anyway.
You pull the pin on the grenade in your hand and blow yourself up but Veeate has enough experience to anticipate the suicide. Veeate rolls back to avoid dying as well.
The opponents dispose of the rest of your squad and one of the randoms leaves the match.
[[Rage Quit.]]
[[Get ready for Round 2.]]
This is the glossary for new players. Here is where you will find the definitions for new terms.
[[In the Zone]]
ACTIVE ROUND: A round of ammo in the gun's chamber that is loaded with increased damage.
AFK: An acronym that stands for, "Away From Keyboard" signifying that a player is on the map but not playing.
AIR BURST: When a grenade is thrown, it needs a collision before exploding, however, if a pair of grenades is thrown then the one that is still in the air will explode when the first has a collision. This can create a devastating blast radius when executed properly.
AR STADIUM: The Platform for the game. It is an Augmented Reality stadium with live audiences.
AR: Augmented Reality. It is a digital interface based in holographic technology.
BLIND FIRE: Shooting without trigger aiming.
BODY/BODIED: To kill a player while moving through a wall bounce.
BOT: Another term for an NPC or AI player.
BROKEN LEGS: When a player is moving without playing.
CAMPING: To play overly defensively, especially where a player sticks to one of two unique locations on a map.
CLAN: An assembly of gamers that associate with each other and play together often and almost always in competitive circumstances.
CLUTCH: To win a round or match against impossible odds is to clutch the round. Usually, it refers to a situation where one player takes out several opponents on their own, but it can involve a pair of players disposing of an entire team of opponents.
CORNER SNIPE: An exploit achievable with a sniper rifle or long-range weapon whereby the player using the weapon takes cover but is still able to use their weapon from within cover because of the weapon's long barrel.
CROSSING or CROSSFIRE: Helping a squadmate from a distance with supplementary fire.
D-RIDING: D-riding is short for "dick riding" and refers to players that can't play competitively on their own and who need to follow behind more skilled players in order to achieve.
DUEL: Duelling is when two players from opposing squads agree to face each other with the same weapon type. It is not a duel if other players apart from the two become involved.
DUMMY GLITCH: The dummy glitch is a form of glitching-out that allows the player to move around the regulation area of the map while remaining invisible to players in the regulation area. With the dummy glitch, the player can re-enter the regulation area of the map and be visible once more.
EATING SHOTS: see "SPONGING"
ELITE: A gamer that has high skill and knowledge in a particular game. They usually have a reputation as a player to fear and respect.
FLANK: Sweeping movement performed to pincer and pin-down an opponent.

GLITCH-OUT: Through a set of operations, the player can leave the regulation area of the map and go into areas that are part of the map but only accessible through glitching-out.
GUARDIAN: A game type whereby each squad has a designated leader. While the leader is alive, the squadmates have infinite respawns. Once the leader dies, the squadmates are on their last life for that round.
HANDLE or GET HANDLED: When a player renders their opponent powerless through superior skill, tactics and execution.
HARD AIM: Hard aiming is considered an unskilled way to target an opponent with a close-range weapon such as the shotgun. It is a rigid and exagerrated form of aiming and tracking a target.

HOST: In games that do not have dedicated servers, one player in the match has to become the host. The other players will ping the host during the match in order to stay connected. If the host's connection is lagging, it can create adverse effects for other players. Some players can impose lag conditions on the host to their advantage and these methods would be considered cheating.
IP FLOOD: A very common cheat that sometimes happens without a player being aware that they are doing it to others. An IP flood is achieved through certain software, when a cheater will identify the IP address of other players in the match and then connect to those addresses in malicious ways that generate lag for those players.
INVISIBLE GLITCH: To glitch-out of the map in such a way that the player can move around the map freely, but is invisible to their opponents and teammates.
JACKING KILLS: To take the kill from a down that another player on your team produced.
K/D RATIO: The kill-death ratio is calculated by taking a players kills and dividing it by their deaths. A 1.0 k/d is considered quite average and is referred to as "even". A k/d of 2.0 or higher is considered impressive in most games.
L-BAG: L-bags and Z-bags are structures on the map where a player can take cover. The letter designation refers to their shape.
LAG SWITCH: Is homemade hardware that seeks to put the network in a match on standby temporarily. In those moments, the player using the lag switch can move around freely while other players stay where they are. This is perhaps the most flagrant cheat in games.
LEADER: The leader is the player in a round of guardian that must stay alive in order to assure respawning for the rest of the squad.
LEFTY GLITCH: An exploit where a player can keep themselves in cover while still having the ability to shoot an opponent.
LOBBY: Often where squads are assembled and a match is created. Maps are often voted on by players when they are in a lobby.
MAP: The play area for a match in a game.
MEAT SHIELD: When an opponent is downed there is an option for them to be picked up and used as a shield for cover.

NEUTRAL ZONE: Maps often have spawn points and areas where the two squads will get holed up defensively. The neutral zone is the area farthest from the spawns and defensive areas.
NOOB ROLL: An exploit where a well-timed roll can evade what would otherwise be a powerful shot by an opponent. The noob roll is risky because if it isn't well-timed, the opponent will usually get a head shot on the noob roller.
NOOB: A gamer that is a new player to a particular game.
OP: "Overpowered".
OTH: "On The Head" is a term referring to when a player is aggravated with the play of another player - either opponent or teammate.
PLANTED GRENADE: A grenade that is placed strategically in such a way that it operates similar to land mines.
POP SHOT: A pop shot is when a player quickly goes from shooting from the hip to hard aiming, but without actually tracking their opponent through a hard aim. The pop shot is a quick shot that is considered skillful because it has the impact of a hard aim without the grace of shooting from the hip.
POWER WEAPONS: Weapons that are more powerful than what the players start with. Players fight to acquire power weapons and their proper use can shift the tide of battles easily.
QUICK SCOPE: Quick scoping is performed with sniper rifles and similar long-range weapons that have a scope. The quick scope involves using a scope for a split second to ensure that targeting is spot-on.
RAGE QUIT: To leave a match out of frustration. Usually cheaters accuse non-cheaters of being rage quitters as a fetish for the disavowal of their own cheating. Rage Quitting better describes cheaters who leave because they have failed despite the unfair advantage they took.
RANDOM: A gamer that is unknown to the regulars or elites of a particular game.
RAPID FIRE MOD: The rapid fire mod is one where an assault rifle will fire much faster than normal while exerting the same amount of effort on the trigger.
ROADIE RUN: Roadie running is when the player commits to running at their maximum speed. Usually this means that the top of their head is highly exposed.
ROLL-OVER: A well-timed roll can allow a grenade to not have deadly impact when exploding. This is similar to the noob roll.
RUNNING STACKED: When a squad is working together in a highly coordinated way, they are said to be running stacked. This is especially true for clans or players that play together often.
RUSH: Aggressively racing forward forcing direct confrontation with opponents. Rushing is often done to overwhelm opponents.
SCHMEAT: giving "the small meat" is to denigrate your opponent through self-deprecation. If your weapon is nothing special and it destroyed opponents, then imagine the quality of those players.
SCRUB: A gamer that is familiar and experienced with a game but still lacks skills and know-how.
SMACK: To melee an opponent with a gun.
SPAWN: A location on the map where players start playing from.
SPAWN TRAP: Spawn trapping is when a squad of players will keep opponents stuck in spawn, not allowing them a free exit.
SPONGING: When connections are lagging, some players will sponge shots against them. The shots will not register as the player has lagged in such a way that they are not truly in the location where their opponent sees them and has shot at them. Players can manipulate their own connections and connections to host in order to create lag that will help them sponge.
SQUAD: The team that enters a match. The team can be composed of clanmates, familiars or randoms.
STRAFE: Side-to-side movement performed to throw off opponent's targeting.
STRAT: Short for "strategy", a strat is often an initial plan of attack for a squad. It may include specific tactics and overarching goals.
TEABAGGING: A boastful move performed over downed or killed opponents. The move either involves rapid lunges or feet shuffling, usually on top of the opponent's head.
THE W: the win.
TRYHARD: A gamer that is overly concerned with their statistics in a game to the point of playing in a disrespectful way with their squadmates and/or opponents.
TRYHARD PANTIES: When a player has been playing sloppy and attempts to tighten up their play, it can be referred to as putting on tryhard panties. In poker, this style is referred to as "tilting".
TWO-PIECE: The two-piece or 2-Piece is often an exploitative move that involves melee attacking an opponent and then using the moment of freezing them with the melee to shot them.
VPN: "Virtual Private Network" is a method of re-directing traffic through thousands of relays prior to accepting the data or message.
VPN LAG: Cheating through using a VPN is similar to IP FLOOD, whereby a player conceals their location on a network and therefore doesn't respond promptly when taking damage. VPN LAG generates the SPONGING effect.
WALL BOUNCE: A movement that creates a sense that the player is committing to using a wall for cover, however, they cancel the move part of the way through.

A few zig-zag strafes, side rolls and tight wall bounces allows you to dispose of Veeate with a series of perfectly exectured pop shots, however Hero is sponging too many of your shots, even the hard aims.

(set: $Cheat to $Cheat + 10)
You have gained status as a Cheater with a rating of $Cheat.
You decide that you just can't handle after all. You tell yourself that it is better to cheat on others than be cheated on. It is a prisoner's wager that guides your logic. But, then again it feels like you are making excuses. You know what Veeate or Hero would say - that cheating is necessary to compete with other cheaters. But you know that the cheaters too often are afraid to find out how good they really are at the game. They would probably stop playing if they didn't cheat.
All the excuses swirl through your mind. Either way, you are committed now and buy the glitch instructions from Mytnik. Mytnik explains how it works. When you need to, you can break your chainsaw bayonette and use an electronic gadget inside it. When activated, this gadget allows you to see areas of the map that other players cannot see. You can now jump backwards through walls. The dummy glitch is tricky but if you use the gadget in the right area of the map, you will be able to stay in the inaccessible regions until you feel like returning to the main map area. The invisible glitch is the trickiest glitch, whereby if you force the gadget into certain walls, you can become invisible to other players. The downside of the invisible glitch is that your geolocation on the map stays the same and opponents can find you there and kill you.
You just have to find the right locations for each glitch and use the gadget from your rifle when you are ready to cheat.
[[Start Round 2.]]
(set: $Cheat to $Cheat + 10)
You have gained status as a Cheater with a rating of $Cheat.
You decide that you just can't handle after all. You tell yourself that it is better to cheat on others than be cheated on. It is a prisoner's wager that guides your logic. But you know that the cheaters too often are afraid to find out how good they really are at the game. They would probably stop playing if they didn't cheat.
All the excuses swirl through your mind. Either way, you are committed now and buy the bridging software from Mytnik. Mytnik explains how it works. When you need to, you will use the software to find out the geolocation address of the other players in the match. Then you can send endless data to them over the network. They will lag. The software also allows you to use a VPN to hide your own geolocation address. In this way, when you are shot or hit with grenades, your location will be slightly lagged from where your opponents see you. When they ask the network if you were hit, the answer will come back delayed because you will route through the VPN. This will buy you time to get kills also, especially being a huge advantage when duelling.
You just have to run the software when you are ready and it is a much cleaner version of a lag switch, less detectable by your opponents and more reliable than slipshod hardware.
[[Start Round 2 with the bridging software running.]]
[[Start Round 2 without the bridging software running.]]
(set: $Cheat to $Cheat + 10)
You have gained status as a Cheater with a rating of $Cheat.
You decide that you just can't handle after all. You tell yourself that it is better to cheat on others than be cheated on. It is a prisoner's wager that guides your logic. All the excuses swirl through your mind. Either way, you are committed now and buy the weapons mods from Mytnik. Mytnik explains how it works. One of the mods provides you with rapid fire - your rifle will shoot a stream of bullets twice as fast just from you pulling the trigger the same way. You will likely have a lot of downs in the match, so your opponents will soon know that you are cheating with a mod. There is also the hip dot mod, which will allow you poor targeting to be made accurate through the mod. A shoulder hit on your opponent will end up a headshot when you use the mod. The weapons mods are less detectable than glitching, but still more obvious than bridging.
When you are ready, you can turn your weapons mods on.

The anticipation is delicious. Hero and Veeate are sitting ducks, oblivious to your presence. You get comfortable in the moment and get a perfect quick-scope headshot off. Veeate is dead and Hero looks surprised. Hero quickly wall-bounces into cover.
Just as you are about to rush into the opponent's side of the temple, the sound changes. A continuous stream of rat-tat-tat rifle bullets echoes out through the AR Stadium. You turn around and see the bot pass by you and run into a wall. The bot continues running-in-place when they hit the wall.
You realize what has happened. The Host rage quit the match. You figure it was probably Veeate, but it doesn't really matter because you demonstrated your superior skill and leadership qualities as an elite player in the game.

You have a crazy amount of guts and roll forward on your opponents with gusto and verve. The grenade toss is ineffective. Veeate seems unsure how to react but Hero wants the challenge. You shotty duel Hero while Veeate cowardly checks the flank and six. A few tight bounces allows you to get some pop-shots on Hero and Hero goes down. Veeate is trying to retreat but your hard-aim is a critical hit. You switch to your rifle and down Veeate.
Hero wants you to kill them first so that they can respawn, but you decide to kill Veeate first proving your leadership qualities. You stomp Veeate dead and then approach Hero, but something changes.
Just as you are about to flip over Hero and give them the business, the sound in the stadium changes. A continuous stream of rat-tat-tat rifle bullets echoes out through the AR Stadium. You turn around and see the bot passing by you and running into a wall. The bot continues running-in-place when they hit the wall.

You watch the grenades come in and time it so that the first one lands enough to your right that it does minimal damage. You only have time to roll over the second grenade. The roll is skillfully timed and although you are four-pointed you aren't dead.
Hero and Veeate have their tryhard panties on and are watching to see if they can rifle you down from long-range. In rolling over the grenade, you have exposed yourself from behind the pillar giving Hero an opportunity to down you. Hero seems oblivious to your planted grenade. Hero rushes in with Veeate, but they trip the nade and both die.
The bot runs by and you hope that they will pick you up. Then suddenly the sound in the AR Stadium changes. A continuous stream of rat-tat-tat rifle bullets echoes out through the stadium. The bot passing by you now runs into a wall. The bot continues running-in-place when they hit the wall.
You realize what has happened. The Host rage quit the match. You figure it must have been either Hero or Veeate who were bitter about looking like scrubs, but it doesn't really matter because you demonstrated your superior skill and leadership qualities as an elite player in the game.

It seems like Hero and Veeate pushed the neutral zone anticipating that you would go for the power weapon. They are overextended and totally committed. Lobo and Kern have the two cocky opponents tied-up effectively. Your grenades land close to each other and create an optimal blast radius. You get Hero, Veeate and a random. The fourth random tries to escape but was four-pointed by the blast. Lobo downs the random. Kern is heading up to the spawn to kill the AFK player.
This was one of the quicker rounds, but suddenly something changes. The sound in the AR Stadium goes wonky. A continuous stream of rat-tat-tat rifle bullets echoes out through the stadium. You forego the free kill in spawn and decide to check up on your clanmates and help get the W for your squad. From the sound of gunfire it seems like your squad is battling on the other side of the map.
You head down the staircase and then race to the back of the temple through the neutral zone. When you get there Lobo, Kern and the random are battling Hero and Veeate.
Veeate throws a set of grenades which amazingly only kills Lobo. You know that Lobo will be OTH after that. Your squad is pressing Hero and Veeate but they are holding you off successfully.
Then in true AR Stadium Guardian fashion, the bot roadies in through the front of the opponent's temple. Hero and Veeate have no idea. You exploit their ignorance by rushing forward. As anticipated, the bot downs both Hero and Veeate with a burst of blind fire actives to the back of the head. The bot targeting is perfect and their shots are OP.
You pick up one of the kills and leave the other for Kern. When you check to see if Kern knows that you are leaving him one of the kills, you notice him walking funny as if he has "broken legs". You realize what has happened. The host rage quit. It is unclear whether the host was Veeate or Hero, but they are sour grapes about the randomness of the bot.
But, it doesn't really matter because you already demonstrated your superior skill and leadership qualities as an elite player in the game.

You feel that the game has too much lag and provides too many opportunities for less-skilled players to exploit the contest. However, hard work and teamwork with an elite squad can overcome the worst cheating. Veeate or Hero likely had Host and got it through illegitimate means, but that is something that they will have to live with. You choose not to cheat in competitive play and many in the crowd become your loyal fans who will return to see you play.
In the meantime, you celebrate the victory back in the lobby with Lobo, Kern and even the random. You friend add the random who quickly accepts recognizing you as a skilled elite in the game who always demonstrates their leadership qualities.
By the opponent rage quitting you have added a win to your record.
(set: $Win to $Win + 1)
Final Stats:

If you have a "Braveheart" score then use it as a multiplier for your "Leader" score.
Calculate your Gaming Capital:
1) Take the matchups in ratings and put a negative sign in front of the first set (ie. Cheat, Tryhard, Exploiter, Camper, Trash),
2) Sum the matchups,
3) Sum the results of the matchups,
4) Add the leader score,
5) Calculate your kill/death ratio,
6) Multiply the grand sum by the k/d ratio,
7) Count a win as +10 and a loss as -10
For example, with these stats...
Win: 0
Loss: 1
Kills: 5
Downs: 2
Deaths: 2
Cheater: 4 vs. Elite: 3
Tryhard: 2 vs. Legit: 3
Exploiter: 1 vs. Skill: 4
Camper: 2 vs. Tank: 2
Trash: 3 vs. Beast: 1
Leader: 6
Calculate your Gaming Capital...
(Step 1 and 2)
-4 + 3 = -1
-2 + 3 = 1
-1 + 4 = 3
-2 + 2 = 0
-3 + 1 = -2
(Step 3)
-1 + 1 + 3 + 0 + -2 = 1
(Step 4)
1 + 6 = 7
(Step 5)
5/2 = 2.5 k/d
(Step 6)
7 * 2.5 = 17.5
(Step 7)
17.5 - 10 = 7.5
The Gaming Capital for this set of stats would be 7.5. You Gaming Capital is a relative measure within a community of gamers.

It seems cowardly to hide behind the pillar and not help your squad, but you have something in mind. As you feared, Kern and Lobo are killed. The random runs away and the opponent's random pursues them toward the back of the temple through the neutral zone.
Meanwhile, Hero and Veeate believe that they have cleared the zone. The bot stupidly roadie runs past Veeate who turns to deal with them. Hero goes to pick up the power weapon. You emerge from hiding and blast Hero dead. Veeate doesn't even realize because they are still dealing with the bot. You come up behind Veeate and pop their head.
It is going to be a quick round most likely and you are wondering whether to head to spawn for Hero or reconvene with your squad, but suddenly something changes. The sound in the AR Stadium goes wonky. A continuous stream of rat-tat-tat rifle bullets echoes out through the stadium. The bot passing by you now runs into a wall. With the time it took you to kill the AFK player the first time, the two random opponents respawned on the other side of the map. However, the AFK player respawns on you. You get set up to take another easy kill. Meanwhile, Lobo and Kern have the same idea and have spawn-trapped the randoms on the other side of the map and collected their kills.
It seems like what was a competitive match is about to become a milk match. You look at the AFK players wondering whether they are getting set up to scare you with a surprise chainsaw attack. Suddenly, when you go to shoot the AFK player, nothing happens. Is it a lag switch? You wait for half a minute to verify whether it is a lag switch. Instead, you realize that the host rage quit. Veeate or Hero must have been host and they were getting frustrated that your squad was starting to milk.
But, it doesn't really matter because overall you demonstrated your superior skill and leadership qualities as an elite player in the game.

You enter the round with the bridging software running. As you get down the stairs you can already see your opponents getting stuck on walls because they aren't seeing the map architecture where it really is.
You head down to the power weapon and dispose of the two randoms with ease. They are getting better shots on you and you should be dead, but you are sponging shot after shot because of the software hacking.
You pick up the power weapon and race up the staircase to locate Veeate and Hero. Hero has stopped playing and is just standing inside the temple entrance. Hero doesn't see any point in playing when your cheating has such greater effects than theirs. You grin and feel content that they now know how it feels, but at the same time the game feels worthless to you now. You will have to pad your stats and hope that noobs send friend requests for you to feel good about the game. Legit players will know that you are a cheater and lose respect. When you don't run your software in the future and face those legit players, they will body you again and again. Later, they will look at your inflated k/d and mock you. Was it worth it?

You decide to start the round without cheating. You haven't made up your mind about Mytnik's wares.
You rush down the staircase and into the neutral zone. The randoms are down in the neutral zone also, but you have Lobo and Kern backing you up. The randoms eat your shots, and then down you. Lobo rushes over to pick you up and dies for his effort.
Kern has killed one of the randoms and the bot has gone to the back of the opponent's temple, discouraging Hero and Veeate from backing up the randoms in the neutral zone.
Your shots are being sponged by the random and your getting frustrated. One more of their shots will probably kill you.
[[Smack.]]
[[Keep bouncing.]]
The round begins and you are the leader. You head into the temple on your side of the map and let the rest of your squad battle in the neutral zone to control the power weapon. You pick up grenades and then head to the back of the temple. The gadget inside your rifle starts beeping as you get close to the L-Bag in the back.
You understand that the gadget is identifying that the L-Bag is a location for glitching out.

It is a pretty boring story from here on out because competition is out the window. With your weapons mods activated, you don't have to run into the battle. You can down players from long-range and avoid taking any damage. You down three players and pick up two kills in the neutral zone.
You pick up the power weapon and rush to the opponent's side of the temple. You quick scope the leader but the shot is inaccurate. Your hip dot mod makes sure that the unskilled shot becomes a headshot. You do the same sloppy work with Hero.
You figure that it will be easy to pad your stats and generate an inflated k/d ratio this way, but as soon as you head up to spawn, you see the bot run past you and start running-in-place against a wall. You realize what has happened - the host rage quit. The host was likely Veeate or Hero and they were sour grapes about your cheating being more effective than their own.

You have decided not to cheat by using the weapon mods. You feel that the game should be competitive for everyone and not just for cowards who run to tools of exploitation. Who needs a kill or a win if it wasn't earned? There is no happiness in that, but more importantly there is no skill or adversity either.
You play out the rest of the round legit and regret having earned a status as a cheater. Your squad gets a boost of morale from knowing that you have leadership qualities. Your squad steamrolls the opponents and Veeate rage quits on their host. In the round, you picked up 3 downs and 4 kills.

You have done the right thing for yourself, your squadmates, your opponents and the fans. The game is about competition and knowing who are the most skilled players in the game. Your stats mean nothing among the legit players. You like playing with Lobo and Kern and don't want to end up with a friendslist full of the pub star tryhards like Veeate and Hero. They aren't even very good at the game without cheating.
You feel good about your choice and your confidence is returning. You don't feel like a bastard to your fans either. You have the skills to be the best and that doesn't change even if everyone else cheats. You know when your shots are hitting and you know when your bounce and strafe are tight.

At the mid-staircase you can see into their side of the temple. They seem to be fighting amongst themselves. Perhaps, one of them stole the bot kill from the other a few moments earlier. It wouldn't be a surprise that two tryhards would be arguing about pointless kills. You take advantage of their distraction.
Suddenly, Hero notices you and tries to take cover but the bridging software is lagging Hero. When they just saw you with your gun at your hip, the truth was that you were scoping their neck. The shot pops Hero's head.
As you go to deal with Veeate similarly, you notice the bot run past you. They run into a wall and then run-in-place. You look around the map area and see other players in the same predicament. You know what has happened. Hero was likely the host and rage quit frustrated that you decided to cheat as well. Without the cheat advantage, Hero wasn't going to be able to maintain their inflated k/d ratio.

You rush up the staircase on the opponent's side and roadie run into the temple. You skillfully roll over a planted grenade. It is perfect timing because the bot has Veeate and Hero distracted at the back of the temple. You are able to rush up to both of them and pop their heads with the shotty.
The bot runs past you and when you turn to see where they went, they are running-in-place against a wall. You realize what has happened - Hero or Veeate were the host and they rage quit.

You don't feel great about cheating but it was effective. You got the win, and you padded your stats with some easy kills. In addition, you frustrated other players into quitting out.
In the meantime, you celebrate the victory back in the lobby with Lobo, Kern and even the random. You friend add the random who quickly rejects your add, recognizing you as a cheater in the game who exploits others and ruins the competition.
By the opponent rage quitting you have added a win to your record. However, by cheating you have lost all of your status as a Legit player.

Calculate your Gaming Capital:
1) Take the matchups in ratings and put a negative sign in front of the first set (ie. Cheat, Tryhard, Exploiter, Camper, Trash),
2) Sum the matchups,
3) Sum the results of the matchups,
4) Add the leader score,
5) Calculate your kill/death ratio,
6) Multiply the grand sum by the k/d ratio,
7) Count a win as +10 and a loss as -10
For example, with these stats...
Win: 0
Loss: 1
Kills: 5
Downs: 2
Deaths: 2
Cheater: 4 vs. Elite: 3
Tryhard: 2 vs. Legit: 3
Exploiter: 1 vs. Skill: 4
Camper: 2 vs. Tank: 2
Trash: 3 vs. Beast: 1
Leader: 6
Calculate your Gaming Capital...
(Step 1 and 2)
-4 + 3 = -1
-2 + 3 = 1
-1 + 4 = 3
-2 + 2 = 0
-3 + 1 = -2
(Step 3)
-1 + 1 + 3 + 0 + -2 = 1
(Step 4)
1 + 6 = 7
(Step 5)
5/2 = 2.5 k/d
(Step 6)
7 * 2.5 = 17.5
(Step 7)
17.5 - 10 = 7.5
The Gaming Capital for this set of stats would be 7.5. You Gaming Capital is a relative measure within a community of gamers.

You break your chainsaw bayonette and find the gadget inside that Mytnik's instructions told you about. You ram the pill-shaped gadget into the L-Bag's brickwork and cement. You hop up onto the L-Bag and feel that there is an invisible platform at the edge of the L-Bag structure. You walk across the invisible platform based on the instructions and then jump backwards into the wall. The wall becomes invisible and you are now on the inside parts of the map where no one can see you.

You reject cheating and decide to test your mettle against your opponent's crafted lag. You rush the back of the opponent's temple and check carefully for planted grenades.
When you get to the back of the opponent's temple, you can see that Veeate and Hero are arguing. They spot the friendly bot coming in the front of their temple and turn their attention to it. This gives you an opportunity to run up behind Veeate and Hero and kill them with the grenades.
You're feeling cocky, so you plant a grenade on Hero who doesn't see it coming. You skillfully avoid them running toward you frag-tagged. You manages to blow up Veeate in the process and you start to wonder if it was done on purpose.
You head into their grenade room to pick up grenades and notice the bot running past you into a wall. The bot is running-in-place. A continuous stream of sound of rifle fire echoes through the AR Stadium. You realize what has happened - the host rage quit. It might have been Hero or Veeate, but regardless, you proved that you were an elite player with skills and leadership qualities.

You have decided to maximally exploit the glitch-out move by hiding in an area where you cannot be attacked. It is pretty boring standing around shooting at the walls. Eventually, Veeate and Hero catch on that you are outside the map.
You hear a constant sound of rifle fire and try to call out to your squadmates. No one answers. You realize what has happened - the host rage quit. It was likely Hero or Veeate that was host. Your cheating trumped their cheating and they just didn't want to keep playing a round that couldn't be won.

The outside parts of the map are an intricate network of catacombs. You can hear the other players battling above you and sometimes you can see them through gaps in the walls. It is safe to travel through this part of the map because there are no other players that have access to it.
You work your way under the temple over to the opponent's side. You are standing on the other side of the wall from where Veeate and Hero are hanging out. They seem to be arguing. You are dummy glitched which means that you will be able to enter the map again.
You set up a distraction by shooting through a crack in the wall. This draws the attention of Hero and Veeate who try to shoot at you and throw grenades where they think you are. Instead, you have moved to an area at the back of their temple and are rushing toward the wall ready to re-enter the regular part of the map.
You successfully re-enter the map and sneak up behind Veeate and Hero. You kill them both while they are distracted.
You teabag the fallen foes, but then notice the bot run past you. The bot runs into the wall and then runs-in-place. You turn around and see some of your squadmates doing the same thing. You understand what has happened - the host rage quit.

You get the BRAVEHEART AWARD for exposing Mytnik. You make an announcement to the AR Stadium about Mytnik's store and confess that you bought cheats, but reveal that you never used them.
The fans of the game are so outraged that they come down on officials with fury. A few moments later, Mytnik hacks into the big screen at the stadium and reveals their customer list. Most of the "pub stars" of the game are on the list, including Hero and Veeate.
The list also has Fearless, Panic, Bamba, Mambo, Gangsta and a long list of other familiar names and former fan favourites. It turns out that the players with k/d ratios over 2.5 were all illegitimate. They were all players that were unwilling to find out exactly how good they were at the game as it was intended to be played and they were all players that went beyond using exploits, when they turned to cheating.
You are remembered as the real "hero" in the game - someone who decided to be honest about having done the wrong thing and then someone who made the choice to do the right thing in the end - someone who gave the schmeat to all the tryhard scrubs in the game. By not cheating you showed respect for other players as people. You will not be forgotten.
(set: $Braveheart to 2)
Your Braveheart Award give you a Braveheart score of $Braveheart and will have a big positive effect on your Gaming Capital.
