You are Alex, a kid going into 3rd grade who's family has recently moved during the summer. With moving comes a new school, new friends, and a new future. What do you want to do when you grow up, what kind of person do you want to be? The choices are all yours. [[Day One]]

Despite being afraid, the teacher guides you to the class and has everyone introduce themselves. You are drawn to the kid with the baseball hat. [[You introduce yourself and you instantly hit it off, becoming best friends]]

It is now 5th grade and ever since that one day you and trevor met, you have been inseperable. Your mother is a lawyer and your father is a chef. They do not have much time to be with you as they work late, and their absence is becoming noticable. It is hard to do your homework without them, you miss them, and the fun you used to have. Since you didn't do your homework, you were given detention where you meet a couple other boys. Since you really don't have other friends besides Trevor, you're curious about hanging out with them. Since you chose to hang out with your new friends and ditch Trevor after school, you start to fall back even more and start to rebel against your teachers. Your parents notice you falling behind and misbehaving. Since your teacher told them you weren't performing at your appropriate grade level and would otherwise have to repeat, you are grounded. Your parents decide you are going to be enrolled in summer school and one of them starts working only part time to help teach you. [[ Summer school]]

One of your parents starts working part time. You now get to see your dad way more often, but you start to notice things are different. You get less gifts at your birthday and there less snacks around the house when you get home after school each day. Having your dad home to help you with school has greatly improved how you are doing in school. Middle school is exciting! The class schedules are different and you feel like theres not as much pressure when you have several teachers instead of just two. You're doing remarakably well in school, you also start to notice your body changing and going through puberty. You're more self concious and you see Trevor pretty consistently and start to find him attractive. [[Classes]]

You are upset your parents made you go to summer school but it isn't that bad. You make some new friends and can understand your school work more. You don't ever want to go to summer school again so you make sure that you keep up with your homework. You hang out with Trevor when you can, but you don't have as much time. Despite school, the summer goes by quickly and you look forward to middle school. [[ Middle school]]

You nervously try to flirt with Sam and they immediately catch on. Unfortunately they tell you your feelings are not reciprocated. You're hurt but not discouraged, there are other fish in the sea. [[Continue]]

You walk out of school during lunch break and see a group of people standing in circle in the parking lot. You have been searching for your own group to hang out with, so you approach them. The group is a bunch of people you have seen around school. They recognize you and offer you a blunt. You take a drag and spend the next hour talking to the group of people. [[Continue ]]

It is time for your high school graduaction ceremony. You look across the audience of family members and loved ones until you see your parents. They give you a giant wave and you feel all the more nervous. The validictorian is asked to comes onto staged to give a speech. They talk about looking back to the past several years and you start to zone out. Reflecting back, it's been quite the adventure, but you wouldn't trade it for anything. You are thankful for the people in your life and the world is your oyster. End story

You start to notice changes in your body. Your voice starts to crack and your emotions and hormones are all over the place. You are plagued with acne and self doubt. It will take some time for you to figure your life out. [[Feelings]]

While things aren't that different, it makes life better. There are several small changes though, like holding hands, the occasional kiss, and sending each other notes with more than just jokes. In Middle School there are a ton of classes, some of them required and some are electives that you can choose from. Your middle school is pretty nice and you get several electives to choose from. You amd Trevor have never been closer. That being said, you are more closeted than ever due to the fear of coming out and being rejected. You feel like you can't hide yourself from Trevor anymore but are super scared. [[Trevor]] [[We'll just be friend->The future ]]

You realize you don't care what others think. You just want to be together and be happy. You start to show affection in school instead of behind closed door. [[Akward]]

You start to fall in love with Trevor but start to see other people in a different light as well. There is another student named Sam in particular that you think about as well. Bad luck. The judge has decided to make an example of you and you have been sentenced to 10 years for selling marijuana to a minor. You will not be able to graduate high school. Maybe you'll try to get your GED later.

You meet the person they told you to give the gram to. Unfortunately, you are totally conspicuous and get caught. The teacher calls the school officer and you get busted for dealing. [[Consequences]]

You find out after lunch there was a surprise drug dog brought to school. Good thing you decided not to help out. The others weren't as lucky. You are no longer able to hang out with them during lunch so you decide to continue with your life. [[Continue with your life->Relationship]]

You feel bad telling on your new friends but you have your own life to worry about. You have been given a year of probation. Your parents demand that you stop hanging out with "those people". A week has passed and you are walking home from the baseball field. A car passing by parks in front of you. Five people get out of the car and proceed to murder you with your own bat. Snitches end in ditches.

The only ones who haven't caught on at this point are your parents. They are oblivious since you don't spend much time with them. Do you want to come out to your parents? [[Yes]] [[No]]

Your parents are surprised. Having not been a large part of your life, they did not see this part of you. You have been independent most of your life so they are fine at this point with you making your own life decisions. [[I'm so glad they let me be who I am->Heating up]] up]]

You decide not to tell your parents, but the akward bomb shell is still dropped when they walk in on you two making out. They are just as akward as you but are still supportive and reassure they still love you. [[I should lock the door more often->Heating up]] up]]

You and Trevor are openly gay and holding hands in the hallway. Some people are cruel and some names are thrown at you. It's hard to ignore. Do you say something to the bullies or turn a cheek? [[Confront the bullys]] [[Turn the other cheek]]

You confront the bullys in the lunch room after they call you a faggot. This was a personal victory, but you are outnumbered. You get your butt handed to you on a lunch tray and serve detetion for fighting. This is fine though, the bullys have lost interest. You decide you are never going to let anyone talk to you that way again. You realize you have grown as a person and can't wait to get out of highschool. [[The future ]]

You have decided you are above all the drama. The bullys continue to target you until they realize that they aren't doing anything to you anymore. They have moved on. You see a brighter future ahead [[The future ]]

You and Trevor decide to get an apartment together and you are excited to start this new chaptar of your life. Your parents are happy you will be nearby. Now all you have to do is graduate. [[Graduation]]
