Three Blind Mice

Welcome to Three Blind Mice the Sequel interactive story! [[START]]

Once upon a time, there were three blind mice. Their names were Edward, Maxis, and Sam. While they could not see, they had the strongest sense of smell and keen hearing. The three blind mice find themselves in the butcher's wife kitchen once again, enjoying some bread. When suddenly they hear the butcher's wife enter the room. You need to help the mice escape the room. What should they do? [[Hide behind the loaf of bread until she leaves]] [[Slowly sneak away and climb down the table]]

As the three mice cower in fear, the butcher's wife goes to the sink to wash up. While she is washing, Sam's stomach starts to rumble as he is still very hungry. Luckily, the water is running so she did not hear his stomach making noise. What should Sam do? [[Queitly grab some bread to eat]] [[Sit there and wait patiently, now's not the time to eat]]

The mice slowly make their way down the table. First, they carefully get on top of the chair, they then shimmy their way down to the seat of the chair. Now, one at a time, they make their way down the chair leg. They move very quietly and slowly. Maxis, is the furthest from the ground while the other two are almost there. Maxis loses his footing and slips, making a noise as he hits the ground. The butcher's wife turns off the sink and quickly looks over and sees the mice. "Not you three again!" she yells as she runs over to grab the mice. [[RUN]]

Sam carefully reaches over to grab some bread and starts eating. The butcher's wife turns off the sink and begins drying her hands. Sam is now full but is really thirsty. He whispers this to his two brothers. Edward and Maxis are thirsty as well they respond. What should the mice do now? [[Find some water]] [[Forget the water, it is time to escape->Slowly sneak away and climb down the table]]

The three blind mice sit their quietly and remain hidden. The butcher's wife turns off the sink and starts drying her hands. All of the sudden, Sam's stomach growels loudly, oh no! "Who's there?!" the butcher's wife yells. She goes over to the table and lifts up the bread and see's the mice. "Not you three again!" she yells as she reaches to grab them. The mice jump down onto the chair and then onto the floor. [[RUN]]

The mice heard the water running, so they know exactly where the sink is with their keen hearing. The sink happens to be right next to their table. Edward reaches his tail over to see if it is close enough, he feels the cold sink on his tail. It is close enough where they could jump the small gap between the table and the sink, but that might be loud. [[Jump the gap between the table and the sink]] [[Quietly climb down the table, and then climb up the sink]]

Sam jumps first and makes it over just fine. And then Edward jumps and makes it as well. But when Maxis jumps, he goes too far and slips down into the middle of the sink by the drain and makes a loud splash from water that didn't quite drain yet. Oh no! The Butcher's wife hears the mice in the sink! She rushes over and captures them. YOU LOSE [[START OVER->START]]

While it takes a long time, the mice successful made their way up to the sink without beind detechted by the buther's wife who is in a different room at this point. They sit in the middle of the sink and quench their thirst with the remaining water that hasn't draind yet. As they are relaxing in the sink, they hear the buther's wife walk to their room, open the front door, and leave the house. The mice are safe again! How should they celebrate? [[Turn on the sink water and have a pool party]] [[Head outside and have a dinner party with their friends, the three blind rats]]

The mice run as fast as they can with the butcher's wife right behind them. The mice hear a loud knife blade smack into the wood floor, just missing Edward's tail. Luckily the wife now has to yank her knife out of the flooring, giving the mice some time to escape. They keep running forward. SMACK! The blind mice ran into a house support beam. The quickly gather themselves and get back and their four legs. What direction should they run now? [[Left]] [[Right]]

The mice have a grand old time having a pool party with lots of laughter and cannon balls! YOU WIN

Later that night the mice have a really fun time with their three blind rat friends. The rats even brought their special cheese! YOU WIN

They book it to the left. The end up in another room and stop to listen. They do not hear the butcher's wife chasing them anymore. They finally lost her. They quitlely sneak their way through the room along the wall, keeping their tails on it to help them with direction. Then suddly, Sam, who is in front stops. He smells something. He smells a cat. The cat then see's them and leaps over right in front of them. The mice can hear and feel the cat inches from their faces now. What should the mice do? [[Attack the cat and fight for their lives]] [[Spit into the cat's face and run around it]]

The run to the right, they keep going as fast as they can so that the butcher's wife won't find them once she gets her knife out of the flooring. As they are running, they trip and fall right through a doggy door. Well at least they made it outside. But where is the dog? They stop to listen. They hear him snoring a few feet in front of them. How should they handle the dog? [[Quietly sneak around]] [[Wake him up to play]]

Maxis and Sam leap onto the cats face and start scratching it. Edward opens his mouth and clamps down on the cat's front paw with a mighty bite. The cat lets out a loud screeching meow and swipes Edward away, he smacks the wall and passes out. The butcher's wife heard the commotion and runs into the room. "Leave Gertrude alone!" she yells and grabs Maxis and Sam off of her and then scoops up Edward. YOU LOSE [[START OVER->START]]

It worked! The spit distracted the cat and the mice are able to run away. As they are running they are quickly stopped by running into something again. It is very hard to run while blind. This time it was the wall. They feel along the wall as they walk along the side of it. The come across a small hold in the wall. A hold big enough for a mouse to fit through it. [[Enter the hole]] [[Do not go in the hole and keep walking]]

They make your way though the hole. After a short amount of walking, Sam leading the way smells the outdoors. "Come on brothers we made it!" They all run outside onto the sidewalk. They have escape the butcher's wife house and are now safe. How should they celebrate? [[Have a nice cake for dessert]] [[Have a treehouse mouse party]]

The mice keep walking along the wall. Suddenly, "SQUEAK!" Sam just stepped on a squeaky dog toy. They mice remain still. It is compeply scilent for a few seconds. Maybe no one heard anthing. But then they hear the dog door burst open and the dog runs right toward them. The three mice try to run away as fast as their little legs can move, but they are not fast enough. The dog scoops them all up at once with his mouth. YOU LOSE [[START OVER->START]]

The mice go back home to their tree and enjoy a fantastic chocolate cake that they have been saving for a special occasion. YOU WIN

The three blind mice invite over all of their animal friends to their tree house and have a fun party where they told their crazy story from today. YOU WIN

The mice begin to quietly sneak around the dog. They are almost completely around him when Edward steps on his tail! The dog wakes up and lets out a whimper noise. They mice try to run, but are not fast enough and the dog eats them up. YOU LOSE [[START OVER->START]]

The mice approach the dog. Maxis gives the dog a big pet on the head. The dog wakes up and immediately starts wagging his tail. He looks very happy. Mice play around with him by climbling all over him and the dog has a blast. The dog wiggles around like wild with its tongue hanging out during this. Eventually the dog gets tired out and walks inside to finish his nap. The mice made it outside and escaped the butcher's wife and her pets! How should they celebrate? [[Go home to their treehouse and take a nap]] [[Go to the local alleyway mouse pub for a drink]]

They get home and fall asleep right away after their long long day. They sleep happily with thier bellies full of bread. YOU WIN

They go to the mouse pub and drink their favorite, left over beer from the human bar next door. They have a grand old time talking and laughing about their day together. YOU WIN
