Thank you for clicking on my twine game!
If you are ready, click [[here]] to startYou are a young prince riding through the woods of your kingdom. Suddenly, you hear a beautiful voice, singing in the distance. You ride closer to the sound, and come across a tall, decrepit tower. However, the tower has no door at the bottom to get in. You decide to [[come back the next day]] and watch if anyone gets in through a secret entrance.Days pass, and you never see any secret entrance being used. You decide to go to the tower one last day, and upon arriving, see an old woman standing below the tower. You shield yourself behind some bushes and witness her yell, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let down your hair!" At that moment, the most hair you've seen in your life is thrown out of the top window, which the old woman grabs and climbs up. Shortly after, the hair is thrown out again, and the old woman climbs down and leaves. Do you:
[[Try and replicate the witch's voice]] and get Rapunzel to throw down her hair?
[[Forget it.]]Remarkably, your impression works, and the hair comes tumbling down. You scramble up the hair as gently as you can, and witness the shock on Rapunzel's face when she sees a handsome prince clamber in the window. She yells, "Who are you?"
[["Do not worry! I am a friend"]]
"[[It is I]], your hero, your knight in shining armor, your savior, the alpha and the omega, Prince _______!Honestly, her singing wasn't impressive enough to warrant climbing up her hair. That's pretty gross, and not very safe for yourself. You head back and grab a beer at your local tavern.
[[Continue->at your local tavern]]At the tavern, you tell your buddy Mikey about the crazy girl who lives alone in a tower and has literately like 90 feet of hair. He doesn't believe you and wants you to take him there to show him. You agree. The next day you ride to the tower together on horseback. You listen to Rapunzel sing for a while, and Mikey claims he must speak to her. You call to Rapunzel for him, since you know what the old woman sounded like. Mikey climbs up the hair that falls down. Shortly thereafter, Mikey comes flying out of the window and splatters hard on the ground in front of you. You then see the old woman poke out of the window and scream, "And don't come back!" You don't.

[[Play again?->here]] "But I do not know you," Rapunzel replies.
"I feel as if I know you," you reply smoothly. "I have heard you sing songs from up here day after day. I love your voice! And I love it when the birds sing with you, too."
"Yes, I like that, too," says Rapunzel. "It may be the only thing I like, since I must stay here in this same old tower, day after day, my whole life long. I was taken from my family as a baby by an evil witch who says the world is a very bad place and will never let me leave."
[[Tell her->But the world is not as bad as she says!]], "But the world is not as bad as she says!" And tell her of flowers and festivals, games and gardens, puppies and puddles, strawberries and secrets.
[[Tell her->It is I]], "You're right, life's a bitch. So what do you look for in your ideal man?"Rapunzel clocks you right in the side of your cocky head with a frying pan she picked up when she saw you weren't the old woman. You wake up bound to a chair with her hair. You knew this was a bad idea. "The witch is right, people suck," Rapunzel tells you. "Give me one good reason to not throw you out of that window and never let anyone from your hideous world up here again?"
Tell her about your vast wealth. You are the prince of the kingdom, after all. [[Beg her->flex on her]] to let you show her the world.
[[Tell her->fortnite]] that you have over 1,000 victories in Fortniteallow user to input nameAfter many hours, Rapunzel tells you that you must leave, in fear of the witch's return. You leave, but come back the next day, bearing strawberries for the girl. She decides to plan to escape with you. You must bring her a ball of silk each time you return, which she will weave into a ladder. Once the ladder is long enough, she can escape with you (silk is small enough to fold up and hide from the witch).
"That could take a while, but it [[sounds like a plan"->"Sounds like a plan"]]
"That's insane, there's got to be an [[easier way]]" "Fortnite? That's a unit of time. I don't understand." Rapunzel says. You explain to her that this twine game is a video game, and that she doesn't exist in the corporeal plane. Her existence is meaningless, and she doesn't even possess free will. Her narrative is completely predetermined by a somewhat godlike author. She still seems confused so you
[[Explain to her further that she doesn't exist]]
Change the subject and [[explain to her how impressive your many fortnite wins are]]Rapunzel doesn't immediately comprehend the concept of money, so you need to give her a quick rundown on capitalist society first. "Wow," she replies, "that sucks." But you are a persuasive man and you convince her to come with you, so you can show her that capitalism does not suck. You cut her hair off and both climb down it to escape the tower. You then place her with you on your noble white steed and ride to town. You pass through the slums, where beggars curse your royal self. But, upon arriving to the castle, you find a great feast waiting for you on gold diningware. "I could get used to this," Rapunzel tells you. It seems as if her temperment has completely changed after she has seen your wealth compared to the way some women were living on the street.
"You will baby. This is [[only the beginning]]"
"Do you think I'm some kind of fool? You're on your own after this dinner, [[you gold digging ^^~~*CENSORED*~~!^^->FDB]]^^"^^You bring Rapunzel some silk, have a great time with here, and [[come back the next day->"Sounds like a plan"]]
[[(skip ahead)->fixme3]]Rapunzel thinks for a while. "Or," she says, "we could just cut my hair off and weigh it down, then both climb down it."
"Genius!" you respond. You slice her hair off and knot it around a brick that sticks out from the wall. You both shimmy down the hair safely, then run away and get married, and live happily ever after.

"But I am real," Rapunzel replies. I am real. And I can see you, and I can see that you are real. We are real. We are in love. You've spent all this time with me, it must be the truth. Don't you love me?
[[Yes]]
[[No]]Upon your explanation of the game of fortnite and its battle-royale style, not to mention an ever-increasing skill gap, Rapunzel is totally infatuated. What girl wouldn't be, knowing what great time and effort you have put into acheiving victories in a video game which provide you absolutely no real world benefits while you could've been working a job to make money, working out and improving your health, learning, or doing countless other things. She lets down her hair as usual. But when you get in the window and look up, the old woman is there holding Rapunzel's hair! "Where is Rapunzel? What have you done with her!" you yell.
"You will never see your Rapunzel again!" the witch yells back. Before you can react, she shoves you and you fly out the window! Luckily, you land in some bushes, but some thorns end up in your eyes, and you become completely blind. Do you:
[[Blindy wander the earth]], searching for your dear Rapunzel?
Go and [[get your eye fixed magically]]? (You're the prince, you can afford it)You wander the earth blindly for two whole years. That's committment. You call Rapunzel's name from morning to night (you think, you can't actually see), but she never answers. Through jungles, mountains, even oceans you travel, but it's no use. One day you end up in a desert (probably, it's hot and dusty), and decide it's a good place to die. Until, that is, you hear the voice of a sad angel singing in the distance. You crawl towards the voice with every last ounce of strength in your body. Finally, you hear her call, "My prince!" You hug your love tight, crying two tears of joy. Suddenly, you can see again! You and Rapunzel leave the desert, using your keen sense of direction, and head to your home kingdom. You marry Rapunzel, and become king and queen, and live happily ever after.

"And I your king," you reply, smugly.
"Well, not exactly..." she says, and pushes you off of the cliff before you have time to react. Now I ain't sayin' she's a gold digger...

[[Play again?->here]]For some reason, you and Rapunzel begin to grow apart. She seems to be talking more and more to your buddy Mikey, who has some inheritance from his uncle, the king of a neighboring land. One day, she tells you, "We need to talk." You know exactly what is coming. "It's not you, it's me," she starts. She tells you it's over, and that she hopes you can stay friends. You spend the next few days a miserable, crying wreck, wondering where you went wrong, sure that you had [[missed some sign->only the beginning]] along the way. You fear that she was ready to marry you, and you're an idiot who will never succeed in love again, so you live out your days a lonely prince and watch your brother Timmy rule the land with his beautiful wife, since you never found a queen.
