Bolderdof hears you and laughs!
"Nothing surprises me anymore," he replied. "We're all just crazy things going around a crazy world!"

The vast fir trees grow right over the road, so it is like you are walking along a path that tiwsts and turns through an eternal twilight.
There is no going back...
The path is eaten up by the tree roots behind you.
You can only go on.
Then you hear the snapping of wood - and several doves take flight, startling you.
Then you see him -
The Green Archer!
He knocks an arrow and aims at you!
Terrified you have to think fast!
You decide to:
Leave the path and head [[into the trees.|chased]]
Or [[stick to the southern path|saved]] and hope to lose the fiend!
The Green Archer just won't give up!
He's practically on your heels...
"It's the end! The End! He's going to get me!"
Then you see the warrior!

You walk down a down a green slope and when you reach the bottom the landscape immediately changes.
The smell of fetid vegitation attacks your nostrils at once! It's overhwelmingly terrible!
You are now in a swamp!
There are no clear paths and you are not too sure where to go...
Maybe keep going east? But you can see a giant six foot long killer swamp slug guarding the way...
Meanwhile to the south a strange wild man in a mask waves you over. He speaks to you, "Follow me!"
You decide to:

You see a jester sitting on a tree stump on the side of the road.
He tells you that his name is Custard.

Someone has written on the stump. You read this word:
"miner"
Hmm. You think this is strange. There is something about that word! You think it is important. If you had a pen or pepper you would write it down, but you don't so you will just have to remember it!
Just at that minute a friendly farmer with a horse and cart passes by. He tells you that he is on his way to town and offers to give you a lift!

You find yourself standing in the middle of the old crossroad.

Eventually you find the wishing well.
Not far away you see a little imp starring at you from out of the trees.
The pesky thing knows he has been seen - and he jumps down the wishing well!

Actually it might be better to turn back - you can never trust [[those pesky imps.|crossroad]]

There is quite a drop but luckily your fall is soften by a pool of slime!
At the bottom of the well you see a beautiful shiny gold coin...
You decide you can't just leave the pretty thing there so you pick it up and place it in your pocket!
You might be covered in mud but at least you are a tiny bit richer now!
There is a tunnel in front of you.
Have no choice you [[follow it.]]

You walk along the tunnel for what seems an age...
The further along you go, the darker it grows...
You don't want to admit it but you don't know where you are going...
Eventually, through exhaustion, you trip into a pit of thick mud...
[[O no!|die]]The imp leads you along the ways of the tunnel, to a secret passage veiled in sorcery...
The passage opens at his command, and you follow a set of steps that lead right back upto the surface.

Back in the forest you thank the imp or his help.
The imp says:
"I help you now you help me!"
O YES?
"Help me to slay the legendary Beast of Sarzil!"

[[Do I look like I have a handle sticking out of my back? No Way!|run away]] You flee through the forest, following no track or road, you quickly get lost - but the imp knows the trees of the forest better than you.
He soon catches up with you...
And now he is no longer alone!
Twenty other imps surround you!
Overpowered, they tie you to a spit, and start to light a fire beneath you!
"...And for the main course... O yes! WE'RE GOING TO BE EATING YOU!!"
Just then there is a flash of light and all the imps flee in terror!
Suddenly you see your old friend Bolderdof standing there. It's so good to see him again!

The imp hands you a great sword.
It is heavy to weild.

"The beast has terrorised our village for years! Please! You must kill it so that we can be free from its wicked ways!"
You rest the great blade upon your shoulder and nod your head.

"The is where the beast lives," he tells you.
You wait with baited breath.
Finally the beast arrives...
You ready yourself...

The village of Tor has a wall to protect itself from the dangers of the forest. As you approach the gate the guard in the tower calls down to you:
"Hail stranger! What is your business here?"

"Well met! I am humble traveller seeking adventure in the lands beyond this village. Please let through the gates, for the forest is dangerous and I have already been attacked by an armed rogue!"
The guard opens the gate and let's you in. As you pass through he says to you:
"Be on your best behaviour stranger! We don't tolerate trouble makers in our village!"

What a cheery splendid place!
A fire is burning in a large hearthstone in the corner, and a stuffed troll-head hangs above the bar.
The tavern master nods you.

You enter the localy smithy.
Darn!
It's hot in here.
You see the blacksmith, a vast man gleaming with sweat hammering away at stone steal.
He is hard at work and does not seem to be in any mood for conversation.
You decide to:

The slug is vast, but you find a stray tree log and from their you are able to jump over the oozy monster!
You are soon on your way again. After a few strides you find yourself free of the swamps...

You follow the wild man through a dank and wild forest of pines and firs.

Then he leads into a forest of giant mushrooms!
Because you have found a way out of the swamp you think you are safe - but then the wild man scratches you with a dagger!
You [[fall asleep...]]When you wake up you are stuck up to your neck in water!
...AND IT'S GETTING HOT!
Then you realise that you are in a cauldron - and the wild man is setting up a fire beneath you!
But just then - at the last minute the wild man drops down...
There is an arrow sticking out of his back...
A hunter approaches.
He helps you out of the cauldron...
He says:
"Follow me!"
You decide to:
[[Cause a commotion by pushing the cauldron then make a run for it...]]
[[Follow the hunter...]]
You flee!
Thankfully you find the eastern road again and [[follow it.|sir woodwick]]

A wooden cabin sits in the middle of the clearing.
He says to you:
'This is where I live. Come inside and rest for a while before you continue your journey!'
All seems to be going well!
You have made a new friend...
But when you enter the cabin the hunter grabs you by the throat - you can't break free from his mighty grip!
He smiles evilly at you...
"You shall be my next meal!"
[[You try to fight back...|die]]The jester takes a tiny axe and starts to slice at a giant oak tree!
You tell him that is not the way to do it. He needs to take swings at the tree.
The jester does so - for several hours.
Then after a while the tree comes hurtling down and falls right on top of the jester - crushing him clean to death!
"Silly fool! How I shall remember thou Custard - king among idiots!"
[[You move on!|sir woodwick]]The jester throws a pouch containing strange glittering powder at your eyes!
You feel suddenly nauseous...
"Help me!"
You collapse on your face...
When you wake up you find yourself in the middle of a goblin cave!!!
The goblins move in, clawing at you...
