The next day you go to school and take the bus that takes you to the MRF. When you arrive, you introduce yourself to the guide there and after everybody got out of the bus, you go inside.

There are six steps in recycling plastic. I will show and tell you all of them now.
<font color="orange"><b>Step 1:</b></font> The first step in the recycling process is always collecting the plastic that is going to get recycled. That means that the trash trucks come to your house and pick up your plastic waste.
<font color="orange"><b>Step 2:</b></font>The second step is sorting the plastic after it has got collected and transported to the MRF. There are machines which will then sort the plastics into different areas that are based upon a multitude of properties. These are often dependent upon the recycling facility.

The recycling process of aluminum has 8 steps. Here they are!
<font color="pink"><b>Step 1:</b></font>The first step is collecting everything made out of aluminium. For example: ALuminium cans and foil trays. They get collected from homes, streets and garbage collection centers. The scrap aluminum gets collected and then is transported to the treatment plant.
<font color="pink"><b>Step 2:</b></font>The second step is sorting. The aluminum and steel cans get sent to the MRF. There they get cleaned, sorted into the different metal streams and compressed into bales. This step is very important that the aluminum get's separated from other metals.
<font color="pink"><b>Step 3:</b></font>The third step in this recycling process is shredding. The aluminum blocks bales later get transported to the processing plant. The blocks get laid onto a belt that brings them to the shredder. The shredder then cuts the aluminum into tiny pieces. The shredder is there to get rid of the paintings and coatings easier.

Just like clothes, vegetables/fruits and many other things have to be washed. The goal is to get rid of all impurities and anything that is not made from plastic that is in the plastic. Mostly tags or labels must be removed.
<font color="orange"><b>Step 4:</b></font> The fourth step is resizing. The resizing consists of shredding the waste (plastic) into small particles. The trick of it is that it increases the surface area of the plastic, which makes it easier to reshape, process and transport if needed. Plus, it also gives the recycling facilities one last opportunity to remove any liquids or things that didn't make it through the first 3 steps.
[[Step 5-6 of Recycling Plastic]]<font color="orange"><b>Step 5:</b></font> The fifth step is the identification and seperation of plastics. This happens when the now small plastic particles get tested, to determine their class and quality.
<font color="orange"><b>Step 6:</b></font> The last step is compounding. This step is often considered the most exciting because the plastic particles are made into something usable for the future. The compounding process is when the plastic particles get smashed together and melted into plastic pallets. At last, the pallets can get used in the production of some other plastic products.

<font color="GoldenRod"><b>Step 1:</b></font> The first step is collecting the paper. People put their paper in their bin and then the trash trucks collect iut.
<font color="GoldenRod"><b>Step 2:</b></font> The second step is sorting and transporting. After the paper waste is collected, it is measured and graded for quality. Paper with similar qualities get combined.
When the waste arrives at the recycling facilities the quality and quantity of the paper gets measured and then a purchase contract is issued to the recycler. The measurements can then be used to determine whether the type of paper waste is accepted or rejected.

In the recycling process of computers, there are seven steps. Now you will be able to learn about them.
<font color="red"><b>Step 1:</b></font>The first step is collecting the computers. They get collected from computer waste collection points and from owners.
<font color="red"><b>Step 2:</b></font>The second step is sorting all the collected computers. They get sorted by item type before moving into the next steps of the recycling process and reuse.
<font color="red"><b>Step 3:</b></font>The third step is testing for potential reuse. That means that the computers get tested to see if they could maybe be able to get used again. If computers are still fairly good working condition or functional, and the parts only require a bit of upgrading, the computer does get upgraded.

<font color="GoldenRod"><b>Step 3:</b></font>The third step in this recycling process is shredding and pulping. After the paper has been sorted, it gets shredded so that it breaks down the material into small bits. Then, when the material is finally shredded, a large amount of water gets added along with some other chemicals. After that, the slurry solution known as pulp has an oatmeal consistency which is raw material used to produce paper. The pulp then also gets passed through a series of screens.
<font color="GoldenRod"><b>Step 4:</b></font>The fourth step is called flotation tank and de-inking. After removing larger containments, the pulp is added to a flotation tank, where air bubbles and chemicals start to remove inks and dyes. After that, dyes sometimes get added to create colored products and sometimes a small amount of blue and black dye, is added to create bright white printing paper. Now, the pulp which is now 1 percent fiber and 99 percent water, gets combined with pulp and is then pumped over onto a paper machine.

After the 4th step, the pulp gets passed over rollers that press out the excess water. It can also get passed over a vibration machine. Both are there to create a product made of 50 percent water and 50 percent fiber. If the coated paper is needed for smooth printing, a mixture can get applied to the paper at the end of the whole process or after the process is completed. Next, the sheets go through hot steamrollers. These hot steam rollers are at temperatures like 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Sometimes potato starch coatings also get added, to prevent ink from spreading.

The ends of the bug rolls then get trimmed and recycled to make to a pulp. The rest of the roll gets shortened into smaller sections and finally gets sent to various manufacturers.
