Johnny Brim is a simple man, with simple values, he loves family, life, and good fun. This story begins like most others, a knock was heard on Johnnys' door. His story begins here. [[open door]] [[walk away]]You open the door to see a strange hooded man standing there. He leans in and whispers to you in a scraggly, hoarse voice... "Go to the alley by Big-Mart in 5 hours or you will never see your wife again." The man turns and walks away, you've never been so shocked in your life. As the man walks down the sidewalk away from your home you notice a few of his more outstanding features. He is a rather tall man, looking 6'4". He was quite broad-shouldered with a limp in his right leg. You have your doubts but you love your wife and don't want any harm to come to her. You decide to calm your nerves with some tea and TV before you head out. [[Make some tea and watch TV]]Why on earth would you walk away? Do you not want to hear this epic tale? You are going to open the door! [[open door]] The time is now, you must go to the Big-Mart, but you have one big decision on your mind. The gun you keep by your bedside, do you dare bring it? What if THEY see it? What will happen to your wife then? Maybe it will be of great use? Well, make the decision... [[Bring the gun]] [[Leave the gun]]You head upstairs to get the gun from your drawer. When you grab it you tuck it into your pants, in the front. You then head out to the meeting. [[To the Meeting]]After much brain-wracking you decide you should leave the gun, after all if they find it your wive will surely die. So now you go. [[ On to the Big-Mart]]You see the alley, your ultimate destination. As you approach you hear 2 or 3 voices. You can't be sure but you are sure one of them is your dear spouse Mary. Shall you eavesdrop? [[Eavesdrop]] [[Go to the meeting]]You creep slowly to the wall and listen closely but suddenly a man calls you out, you have no choice now. You must go. [[Go to the meeting]] As you enter the alley you can clearly see the intent on the mens faces, even though they are all shrouded by their hoods. You can clearly identify the man that was at your door. He holds his left hand out, in the hand is a tall tophat but without a brim. He says in a voice no better than before... "You get one question, I give one answer. If you ask a *cackles evily* "Correct" question, I will allow you to continue. If you ask an "Incorrect question" you must wear the hat." [[What do you want with my wife]] [[What is so bad about the hat]] [[Who are you]]The man pulls down his hood and reveals a telling smile. He is here for pleasure. "That was the first correct question, it shows you are a caring man. Two more and I'll release your wife. The answer is, I just wish to play this game with you but you would not play if there was no wager on the table you see." [[What is so bad about the hat]] [[Who are you]] [[Have you hurt my wife]]"NO! That should be the least of your worries. It is the hat for you!" [[Put on the hat]] "That doesn't matter and that was a wrong question. Now put on the hat!" [[Put on the hat]] "Ahh, I'm sure this question has been positively eating away at your mind, and as you will be pleased to know, that was a correct question. One more and I will release your wife. The answer is, your wife is entirely unharmed and in one piece." [[Why did you pick me and target my wife]]As the hat is forced on your head it lashes out with 2 large metal prongs that force their way into your brain and release an electric impulse giving the man full control. "I, Renold am now your master and you will obey my wishes." "Yes Renold" Is all you can reply, as it was entirely out of your concious control. -That is the ending of this point in the story. Congratulations!"Correct question number three, your wife is yours." *He shoves your sweet Mary towards you* "But as you see you weren't supposed to get this far..." *He pulls out an old Colt single action revolver and shoots Mary in the head* "My name is Renold and you are test subject number 32" *Renold forces the hat on your head* [[Put on the hat]] You see the alley, your ultimate destination. As you approach you hear 2 or 3 voices. You can't be sure but you are sure one of them is your dear spouse Mary. [[Head on to the meeting]]The man that was at your door immediately identifies the gun and orders his friends to kill you.
