A beam of light shoots out of the key. It dissolves fog in the distance, revealing a tree in the center of a lake.\n\nLeisabeth walked towards the tree and waded through the lake. The tree unraveled itself, revealing the portal Limbo, where her journey will continue.\n\n[[Finale]]

“By the power of the spoken word of prayer, and by the mighty King who won it's power for me, I speak. Holy Purge. The evil in you is now destroyed."\n\nThe man's gruesome skin boils off. The ghoulish appearance is gone, having washed away along with the shadows of this realm.\n\nHe looks up to Leisabeth. “Thank you,” he says, gratefully, yet regretful. "I can't give you your life back, but you have given me mine." He stands and takes Leisabeth by the hands.\n\n"This I vow. Arch-Demon Remar, the bringer of pain, has taken over Purgatory. Souls who enter to serve penance and earn the right to enter Heaven are being kept prisoner in eternal torment, with more entering each day. \n\nThe tortured cries for help from those now purged of their sins has reached the ears of Archangel Michael, the protector, and he has sent out a call to arms for all angels. Leisabeth walks closer to Nagul.\n\n"And who are you? A little guardian, I see," Nagul snickered at her. \n\n"Leave the boy alone," Leisabeth warned the demon, the Rosary Whip in her hand.\n\n"You can't hurt me. You don't have the power."\n\n"Maybe. But maybe I will send you back to hell!" Leisabeth swings the whip, encircling the demon. She gives a tug, and cuts the demon in half. \n\nThe demon explodes in a fiery rain. \n\nLeisabeth turns to Jeremiah. Leisabeth pulls the Sling Cross from her belt and places a stone in the pocket. \n\n"Leave the boy alone, Nagul," Leisabeth warned the demon. "Or this one goes right between your eyes."\n\n"You can't harm me, little guardian," he sneered. "You don't have the power."\n\nLeisabeth tilts the sling and takes aim. As soon as she has the demon's head in the cross's V, she lets the stone fly. It hits him square in the head, knocking him away from Jeremiah.\n\n"You can knock me out of the way, but I will always come back!"\n\n"I know how to take care of that," Leisabeth replied.\n\nShe takes out her prayer book.\n\n[[Continue|B2 Prayer]]\n\n

Leisabeth thrusts Wyrmbrand into Slaughter, severing his spine. The demon's scream is mixed with the mortal man's, as Slaughter leaves his body. \n\nThe blackness transfers itself, along with the shadows lingering in this plane, to Slaughter, covering, preserving, and consuming him completely. He bends upward and gasps hoarsely, suffocated. \n\nLeisabeth moves to face him. Only one demonic eye maintains function, watching her. He lives. He lives to feel every welt, scrape, cut, and gash he ever dealt. Every moment of pain he caused his victims is now returned to him fourfold, for eternity.\n\nA pained cry, "I'm sorry," catches Leisabeth's attention. She turns and sees the man, mortally wounded by her blade. She kneels beside him.\n\n"Do you want to pray?" she asks him as she takes his hand.\n\n"No. I will pay my penance. It's the only way to truly redeem my soul."\n\n"It doesn't have to be like this," she said, almost angry.\n\n"This plane, once plagued by Slaughter and his brand of evil, is healed. That's enough for me. Go and save more souls like mine." The man exhaled for the last time. \n\nSpirits of his victims come forward and give their thanks to Leisabeth. As they parted, the pathway leading to Limbo opened. \n\n[[Finale]]
"Show me your head, demon, and I will cure all our problems," Leisabeth growled. \n\n"You don't have the power. You're only a Guardian," sneered the demon.\n\n"Please. The demon staggered back. A surprised look crossed his grizzly features as black blood poured out of his forehead. \n\n"You may have killed me, but her soul still belongs to hell." The demon collapsed into a black puddle.\n\nSarah slumped to the floor.\n\n[[Pray for Sarah|B3 Prayer]]

Leisabeth draws Wyrmbrand from its sheath. Its black blade shimmered in the dim, ethereal light. She took her time. This was what she had worked toward.\n\nAs she neared him, his figure shifted. Deep in thought, Leisabeth walks the path to Limbo, the doorstep of Purgatory. She reflects on all that has happened, and the choices she has made.\n\n"Did I choose well?" she whispers to herself. \n\nBeside her appears the Archangel Gabriel. "You did well. You have made it to this path leading to Limbo."\n\nThe sudden appearance of Gabriel at her side could not break her contemplation. "But did I do well enough? Am I an archangel?" Leisabeth stops in the middle of the path and looks at Gabriel. "How will I know?"\n\n"I have something for you," he said with a faint smile. "Right here." He placed on finger on her breastbone. A silver breastplate appeared. \n\nLeisabeth gasped and took a step back. \n\n"And this," he said as he produced a shield from behind his back.\n\nLeisabeth placed her arm through the shield straps.\n\n"Do you feel like an archangel now?" Gabriel's eyes twinkled with amusement. \n\nLeisabeth raised her eyes, understanding dawning as she smiled at Gabriel. A horn blows in the distance. "Follow me!" Gabriel calls expands his wings to take flight.\n\nLeisabeth did the same. A pleased laugh ringing out as they taking off, soaring through the sky to answer Michael's call.
Leisabeth takes the book from her pouch and says, “Prayer.” \n\nInstantly, the book settles and a page lifts into the air and rushes into Leisabeth's mouth. She gasps and coughs. Then, as if propelled, she speaks, her voice loud and rushing like the wind.\n\n“By the power of the spoken word of prayer, and by the mighty King who won it's power for me, I speak. Banish, demon. What once was rot is not cleansed as light permeates every fiber of her being. Her head is thrown back as girlish laughter erupts. Pure joy and gladness fills her in the form of colors radiating from her heart.\n\nThe bark of a dog comes from a distance and grows closer. A doorway made of pure light opens, and Michael enters with Bertie the dog, who runs and jumps into the girl's arms. \n\nShe turns and says, “I am now AT PEACE, because I am free. "You will enter this one first. In each mirror, you will find a person in need of protecting. You must either attempt to influence the person to save them, or fight the demon who is trying to do them harm. Once you have completed an assignment, you will return here.
