[[go left again]] [[go right this time]] "I am angry! how dare you tell me to go left! there may be so much more out there! i could be missing so much! what if i trust the world and try new things! what if! what if! it can't be so bad out there!" "listen, i know you want to think that way but you have to think practically. i am telling you the truth. people are trying to hurt you. you need to save yourself! the only way to get out is to go left! you must protect yourself! please just follow me! i am here for you! and i want you to be happy! just follow me!" [[go left]] [[go right]] You go right. It's really scary. you hear a lot of creepy noises and voices keep telling you that you have died and no longer exist. you don't know what to believe. [[go back to where you came from ->go left]] "look at that. i have protected you once more! you are so safe with me. those other ways are bad. you'll be hurt if you go those ways. just stay with me. i will get you where you need to go. just go left. the other stuff will hurt you. they are out to get you. trust me. people are trying to hurt you! but i am here and just follow me! go left!" [[continue to go left]] [[choose to go right]] You are really brave this time. this time you bring lots of comfort tools and you bring flashlights and water bottle and you bring what you need to go into the unknown and you got this! you got this! it's clear for awhile and you hear just the sweet hum of your voice guiding you out into the unknown! However, eventually you start to hear yelling. it's not really yelling at you exactly or maybe it is; it's yelling really loud. You can't quite understand it. but then you hear it quite clearly "you're the devil! you're the devil!" "see! i am saving you! i love you! i am keeping you safe! all that evil is out there and it's trying to get you! please trust me. have i proven you wrong? haven't i kept you safe? i love you! just follow me! don't go anywhere scary. they are out to get you! come follow me! lets go left!" [[go left once more->Untitled Passage]] [[try to go right]] This time you are extra super prepared. you are so ready to do this! look out world! here you come! super ready to prove yourself! you bring phone numbers of people you can call if you get lost! you bring a diary to write in! you bring books to help you! So you trek and you trek. Eventually you start hearing the voices again. They're quite at first, and then they get louder. reminding you that you don't exist. reminding you that you are not alive. you try to call for help but you don't have service down here. you try to read your books but it's too dark and you can't concentrate. nothing is making sense! you have to get out of here! [[go back->continue to go left]] You try to muster the energy to go right but it just seems so useless. you enter the hall but you just start crying. it's endless. it's endless. you stop recognizing yourself. you stop understanding how time works. your body becomes frail and you keep repeating the same words trying to get to safety. there is no where else to go there is no one else left. you are the demon!
