This story is just a test for me of embedding 3d models in story passages. I would also integrate the ability for passages to be triggered via the geographical positioning of the reader/player. Audio will also feature in this work, eventually. The aim is to use Twine as a low-barrier entry into augmented reality and place-based story telling. Sketchfab is used to embed the models - Sketchfab also can integrate with Oculus Rift/Google Cardboard VR, so if I can also figure out how to let Twine see 'through' the camera, then a full VR/AR/Mixed Reality might be possible. /// Imagine you're walking through a field; once, there was a family graveyard here, but development and urban crawl have removed it - it's just a soccer field today. [[What's that up ahead]]?There's a faint depression in the earth; the grass grows a little differently here. It almost looks square shaped. [[engage the time spectral analyzer]]<iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://sketchfab.com/models/56b7a1603a2d48dab842cd5292657d0d/embed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true" onmousewheel=""></iframe> The spectral anaylzer reveals the past presence of a graveyard. The signal is weak, distorted, but you might be able to make out some of it. [[You move towards the stone lying broken on the ground.]]<iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://sketchfab.com/models/e261a9aa212c44778096718e9333f77e/embed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true" onmousewheel=""></iframe> You can't really make out much, though 'Nixon' seems prominent. Was this the graveyard of a Nixon family? [[check another stone]]<iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://sketchfab.com/models/c287761136a8421ca9856edf8efd595e/embed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true" onmousewheel=""></iframe> Interesting. [[You move towards the final stone.]] <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://sketchfab.com/models/d84a00e4ef2548979b581f87718460f8/embed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true" onmousewheel=""></iframe> It's clear now. This graveyard once belonged to the Moodie family. Hmmm. Moodie. That name is all over Ottawa. There might be other places worth exploring... //// So that's one way this could work. No doubt there are others. -Shawn
