BEEP BEEP BEEP\n\nit isn't a school day, but it looks like hope set her alarm anyways, and immediately falls out of bed. whoops!\n\nshe lets out a groan, reaching up and setting her alarm to off. trying to go back to bed right after that graceless tumble probably wasn't too worth it. \n\nshe spends a few minutes gathering herself and setting her bed and getting dressed before suddenly realizing that an alarm going off at around 2pm was NOT her setting her alarm for school on accident. right. she had plans today! of course! <<silently>>\n<<set $fed = "no">>\n<<endsilently>>good morning!\n\nit isn't a school day, so shuu has spent a lot of the day sleeping away, and now it's mid-afternoon. whoops!\n\nhe'd better get up, if the sound of a dog-- no, dogs-- barking was a signal. well, they were usually being noisy, so it was only kind of a signal. but he has to feed them! he was too sleeping to do that so now he has to do that!!!!!\n\nshuu sits up in bed, rubbing some of the sleep out of his eyes before hopping up and heading to [[THE DOG ZONE|dogzone]].
she gets an answering machine near-immediately. \n\n...huh. she wrote a note down somewhere, right? she usually does...\nhope searches around her room for a bit before finding a sticky note with the time written. it has "1:00" written on it in neat handwriting. \n\noh.\n\nwell, great. looks like all the reminders she set didn't even work. <i>way to go, hope! now you've got nothing to do all weekend!</i> it isn't the first time, but still, she'd THOUGHT she'd gotten better about that by now... ugh. no wonder people never asked her to do things. well... no point in staying here.\n\nshe tugs a sweater over the dress she'd put on.\n\n"I'm leaving!"\n\nher mom calls out asking her where she's going, but she's already [[OUT THE DOOR|out]] by then.
<<silently>><<set $shuu_begin = "yes">><<endsilently>>after tugging on his jacket over his clothes (he doesn't change out of his pajamas, really. why should he? it's just a little walk...) he heads out.\n\nheading to the park doesn't take all that long! it's a short little walk, opportune for dogs and shuus alike. kids are playing, but he doesn't really care that much about them. they're having a good time, and they aren't bugging him, so that's fine! (he does notice there aren't many dogs out on walks yet, though. disappointing!)\n\nas he's passing across a sidewalk path, someone tosses something across the way. it doesn't hit him; in fact it's a few feet away, but he's still caught off guard enough to jump back a bit, and effectively tumbles right over. oof!\n\nthat's... probably not such a good sign, and moreover: ow. shuu scrambles over to a bench. maybe he should just sit a bit...\n\n...hey, is someone waving at him off in the distance?\n\n<b>LEVEL UP!!!</b>\n\n<<if $hope_begin eq "yes">>[[BACK TO SELECT|gamestart2]]<<else>>[[BACK TO SELECT|gamestart]]<<endif>>

<<silently>><<set $hope_begin = "yes">><<endsilently>>it's a lot nicer of a day than she had thought, and with her sweater, she was getting a little warm, but at least it keeps the wind from batting her around too much. it was probably good she didn't hear her mom as she left, since she doesn't know where she's going. there isn't anything to do at home, though, and she doesn't really want her family to bug her, so she decides to just let her feet take her wherever they lead.\n\nshe walks down the street and across, trailing down sidewalks before noticing that she's not really next to the road anymore. she must've been so wrapped up in the stuff she was thinking about that she didn't even notice herself enter the park.\n\nthat's not really a big deal though, the park is fine. she goes back to staring at the ground and thinking about things when a dull thud in the distance makes her look up. someone's on the ground.\n\n...wait a sec, she knows that person!\n\n<b>LEVEL UP!!!</b>\n\n<<if $shuu_begin eq "yes">>[[BACK TO SELECT|gamestart2]]<<else>>[[BACK TO SELECT|gamestart]]<<endif>>
