Georgette was pretty sure today was not her lucky day. She had already had fourteen [[near misses in traffic -> fairy traffic was always a bit crazy ]] and if there was anything more to this day she'd, we'll she'd just scream.
[[Go to the equipment room. -> equipment room]]
[[Stand by and pester Petunia. -> pester Petunia]]
[[Go ahead and scream. -> scream]]
It was hardly her fault that traffic was so all over the place. After all, it wasn't her fault when her wings clipped another fairy or when *someone* veered into her lanes.
Really this was all Petunia's fault.
[[But back to the matter at hand. ->Start]]
Today called for a great many things, and the first of those things was suiting up!
Or something like that.
The equipment room was positively lined with all of the things that she'd love to have.
So...what was she going to go with today?
Well, the [[sword]] was terribly shiny.
It did seem like the [[potato gun]] was the way to go.
Eh, it just isn't the day for [[anything ->Start]]
If she thought about it, I mean really thought about it, this was entirely Petunia's fault.
Stupid glorious Petunia with her too pretty hair and her too pretty smile.
Really.
So where could she find Petunia?
That fairy was always mucking about in the [[observatory]].
She certainly had a thing for that lion in the [[gallery]].
Oh jeez, now that she thought about it...well there wasn't much she could do to Petunia anyway. Guess she might as well head back to the [[start ->Start]] of things?
"Oh great Shirley Pimple-Sniper!" Georgette yelled.
Claudette over by accounting merely raised an eyebrow. This was hardly the first time Georgette had lost her cool in front of people.
[[That hardly accomplished anything! ->Start]]
Ooh, now wasn't this terribly shiny...just, well. It was positively the bestest thing in the whole wide world.
She could practically cut through time with a sword like this.
And then she did just that.
A potato gun didn't feel like a terribly formidable weapon, but now that she had it in her hands, she certainly liked the heft of it.
Much better than that six-shooter her granddad had given her to shoot soup-cans with.
[[She fired off a potato at the wall where it made a satisfying splat. ->potato fire]]
[[She carried the potato gun out to do her rounds. ->street beat]]
Georgette was pretty miffed there wasn't a Petunia to be found in the observatory. Just a bunch of flowers!
Jeez, she was never going to get anything done today.
[[Guess it's time for a nap. ->nap]]
[[Oh no, she's late for her beat. ->street beat 2]]
She found Petunia alright! Right in front of a picture of the Claudius the Lion.
Actually now that she thought about it, Claudius was awfully majestic. Just look at that mane. At that great hair. Wowzer.
He was just the *bees knees* wasn't he. A real class act.
She got so hung up on looking at Claudius she missed Petunia slip away. Curses and daisy-breath, that Petunia!
And NOW she was late for her beat!
[[Runs to start her beat.->street beat 2]]
Of course, as she fired Petunia walked in from who knows where! It was just that kind of day.
It was over so fast she didn't have time to warn Petunia before she was covered in fine, mashed potatoes.
Oh dear. Today just wasn't her day.
Georgette was the best fairy cop this side of the Rainbow River and she knew it. So what if she didn't get any arrests! That's fine, some people just didn't have it in her wings.
Yeah.
It was definitely the wings.
She took off down her beat. Today was already looking up. After all, she had a potato gun!

Oh well, guess she's just going to lay down under this nice sweet Venus fly trap.
Those things would never even hurt a fly.
