They ended up hurting a lot of people, on accident, at least at first. They would accidentally start fires, cause floods, earthquakes, or even tornados. This made the humans very angry, and they felt very threatened by the Elementals. The humans tried to get as far away from the Elementals as possible, separating the schools, separating neighborhoods in cities, abandoning babies if they had type A blood. They were so afraid. The Elementals didn’t like being pushed from their homes and segregated, so they retaliated, trying to take back their homes and cities. Then the war broke out. Lives were lost on both sides."] ==> [[Next|Intro 6]](font:"Courier New") ["The Prime Minister of Origin and the Elder of The Elementals formed a truce that the Elementals would form their own civilization on Alteria, an alternate dimension of Origin, accessible by one rift discovered in the mountains of Origin. This would prevent death on both sides. The war was then labeled the “Banishment War” to the humans, as it was the mark of banishing the Elementals from Origin. The humans promised to send any born elementals through the rift. For many years, they did. The Elementals noticed one large difference though, between Origin and Alteria. It was that their lifespan was almost cut in half, now only living to about 50 instead of 100."] ==> [[Next|Intro 7]]
"People used to live to be 100 years old?? When the Elementals were discovered, the humans sought to kill them all. This forced the rift to be closed on both sides, and hidden. The Prime Minister vowed to kill any Elemental that stepped on Origin again, including any born Elementals on Origin, and said that Elementals were monsters and devil-born and needed to be exterminated."] ==> [[Next|Intro 8]] (font:"Courier New") ["So, now we come to Asher’s grandpa and your grandmother’s lives. They were a part of a team that fought against a guy named Braxton. Braxton was a really strong leader in our military who really wanted to stop Origin from killing Elemental babies and let the Elementals back on Origin for extended life. But since the humans blocked and hid the Rift, he had to form an army to find the Rift and kill the humans. Most of the Elementals did not want to join the army and wanted to just live in peace, so Braxton had his scientist, Regina, develop a brainwashing serum that he could infected people with. With this serum, they would forget who they were and permanently become Elemental Beserkers, meaning they had no control over their Elemental powers. They were perfect for killing humans. So your grandmother, Sofia, and Asher’s grandpa, Xander (who they called Z), along with a girl named Terra, and a boy named Adrian worked for the Elder, who I’m sure you learned about in school. Mountains line the skyline ahead of you, but their tall peaks are no use against the sun's relentless rays from the East. The heat of the sun does not bother you as much as the whining coming out of your partner. You have both been travelling for two days, looking for signs of a search party sent by Braxton. The clear skies have been a nice addition to the traveling, but you can see a storm coming in the distance.
You : "Z, can you not let it rain right now, please? You feel your hands get hot as a small fireball is formed between your dry palms as a precaution. You peek around the corner and see the search team gathered around a make-shift fire pit. What you thought were voices were just different toned grunts and moans coming from each member, as they can no longer form words. Each member's eyes are a different color, and their facial skin is charred and dirty. Their bodies are covered by black cloaks with a giant eye on them, the eye color matching the bearer's. The member's eye color is (colour: "#0000ff")[blue], indicating his strength is water. Water is the fire elemental's weakness, so the fireball extinguished immediately on impact of the member's body. The member laughs as he charges at you, sending a heavy stream of water at your head. You move out of the way, drops of water sizzling on your skin as the stream passes by. The skin where the drops landed is now a dark black and the pain is excruciating. Another member catches your arm from behind and holds you in your place. The water member sends a large wave of water in your direction, and it hits you. You feel your skin melting away as you crumble to the ground, trying to scream for Z to help you. Game Over. [[Start Over|Start]] [[Begin Chapter Over|Ch2:1]]Z points to the member in the center of the group:

Z: "Look at his eyes. They are blue. Slowly, the cloud passed in front of the sun, temporarily covering the village with a dark shadow. Rain starts to pour on the village, the fires slowly burning out. The search team is looking at the sky with confusion, grunting with displeasure at their destruction coming to an end. The team begins to gather their belongings to hide from the rain, when Z leaps towards the fire beserker and sets precise, sharp wind gusts at the beserker's body. The wind cuts the beserker's arms, and he calls out in pain. The other beserkers see what is happening and start barreling towards them. You throw a fireball at the green eyed-beseker who is closest to Z, and when it lands, the beserker screams as his arm shrivels and breaks off his body, like a branch in a fire falling off a log. You throw another one before he can run away, and the fire burns a hole through his torso and through the rest of his body. He falls in pieces to the ground before his remains burn and disintegrate to ash. ==> [[Next|Ch2:7]] Your location is now known and you must move. No beserkers are following you. There are 3 left: the water beserker, another earth beserker, and an unidentified one that you didn't catch the eye color of. As you approach the group again, you see that Z is obviously injured. The earth beserker is on his right side, with vines constricting Z's arms movements like snakes. Z is struggling to get free, the air around him trying to sever the vines. The unidentified member is standing in front of him, not grunting like the others. As you slink forward, you notice there is no eye on his cloak and that you can't see his eyes. Then the unidentified member looks up from Z and sees you, the shadow from the hood hiding the face. The earth and water beserker see you as well and come at you. Your eyes start burning as your hands get hot. Your fingers turn red as you raise them ahead you. (text-style: "shudder")[Your body starts to shake as you glance at the ruined village around you, and you feel your anger rise.] ==> [[Next|Ch2:8]] You send streams of fire from your finger tips towards the 3 remaining members. This pulls the earth beserker off of Z and it starts towards you, shrieking from the fire hitting its back. You then start swirling a ball of fire in your hands, and once it is the size of the beserker's head, you hurl it towards the oncoming member. It hits him in the face, causing the beserker to stop in his path and burn from the head down, the flames engulfing body. Once he is a pile of ash on the ground, you look up and find Z standing over the water beserker, the beserker's head detached from his body.

Z: "Well done, I'd say."

==> [[Next|Ch2:9]] You nod and look around, wondering where the final member went. You walk the rest of the way in an unsettled silence. ==> [[Next|Ch3:2]] You reach the Resistance base. The tension is heavy between you and Z, and you don't exchange any pleasantries as you part ways at the house. The house is old with Victorian-esque elegance. It was modeled after the Elder's original home on Origin. It is a dark brown with a dark trim, with a large gate protecting the entrance. The building is tall and ominous with dark windows. A beautiful garden is in the front, full of exotic and bright flowers, and there are many trees scattered throughout the yard. You walk over to the garden to look at the flowers, and you bend over to smell a rose. As you touch the petals to pull the rose closer to your face, the petals begins to smolder and disintegrate into ash.
