The professor starts his lecture. He starts covering the basics of Java and what kind of object oriented programming you're going to be doing over the semester. Professor asks to see a show of hands of who has ever had any experience with programming before, no matter how minor. [[up<-Raise your hand]] [[down<-Don't raise your hand]]

You: "Yeah! I love Pokemon. I've been really into the games since I was a kid, my favorite's probably Jigglypuff." Ryan: "Haha it makes sense your favorite is Jigglypuff, it's so pink and girly and cute. Sort of like you, haha. Just joking. But really that shirt looks really good on you and it's just so awesome you also like Pokemon. How many games have you played? If your favorite is Jigglypuff I'm guessing not too many haha." I've literally never met a girl that into games like you, I think I'd really like to get to know you better." Ryan scoots his chait a bit closer to you and you start to feel sort of uncomfortable. He tries to start a couple conversations about the first day of class, but never lifts his eyes from your chest. She's glaring at him subtely so you're pretty sure that's a yes.] He's definitely coming off a bit creepy, but luckily [[start class<-class is about to start.]]

Professor: "Wow, pretty surprising we have a couple girls raising their hands this semester. Not the same old thing I guess haha." (if: $friend is "girl")[You and Alexa share a skeptical look.] ...That was kind of an unnecessary thing to say. Alright then. [[cont<-Anyway.]]

Class goes on, lecture gets a bit dull. You're not getting too into the material since none of it is too new to you. Ryan continues your previous discussion in hushed tones. Ryan: "Hey, what do you think about working on the project or maybe just hanging out together sometime? I think we'd get along really well together, want to give me your number?" [[num<-Give him your number]] You don't want to cause a scene. It's not the worst idea to get a study buddy. [[nonum<-Uhhh I don't think so.]]

The guy to your left seems to keep checking you out, but you pretend not to notice. You're having a great conversation with Alexa, who seems super chill. Out of nowhere, the guy to your other side interrupts you bonding with Alexa. Kind of rude.
