\nYou hear sobbing from the other side of the blast doors.\n\n'Sir.. don't you remember me? Don't you remember your men? Who you are?'\n\n[[Say nothing.|Nothing]]\n\n[[I don't have time for this shit.|Entry_2]]\n\n[["Huh? What do you mean, 'Who I am'?"|Huh]]
\nIn the corner of the room, you see the safe. It's rather large and heavy, made from the same materials as the blast doors. You more than likely can't get it open.\n\nYou know what that means..\n\n[["I MUST TEST MY METTLE AGAINST THIS STAUNCH FOE!"|Safe_Fight_1]]\n\nOr you can, you know, look around the [[supplies room|Supplies]].
\nIn front of you are 4 [[Rolls-Royce MkIV Ion Drives|Rolls]]. These power this spacecraft, however are unable to achieve warp status, lightspeed, hyperactive, or even [[ludicrous speed|http://static.fjcdn.com/pictures/LUDICROUS_fd8622_1077047.jpg]]. The 4 Ion Drives are linked together via this Type 2 NeuroConnect Control Interface, a terminal that links with the engineer's nervous system in order to provide a 3-D model world of the interior of the mechanism to facilitate quicker diagnosis of problems in the event of a disaster or break down.\n\nThe LCD screen glows dimly, displaying the current speed, Ion Drive status, pressure levels, fuel levels, and many many MANY other numbers and bits of information.\n\nYou pick up the Neural Integration Unit, which happens to be a wire connected to the control panel that ends with a long probe that's inserted into a receiver socket that is placed at the base of the brain, on the back of the head.\n\nYou don't have one of these sockets. You can lay the wire back down or you can try and [[force it|Brain]] into your brain to attempt to chance the engine settings.\n\nYou look around the [[engine room|Engine_4]].\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].\n
\nThe target reticle rests on the first ship. You take careful aim, focusing on the triple buffer array, the part that controls the maneuverability and power of this craft, the Horizon 443. \n\nHow'd you know that?\n\nThe moment the ship is in range, you pull the triggers..\n\nAnd the railguns fire. \n\nBATOOOM! BATOOOM!\n\nThe first shots strip away the deflector shield. The pilot realizes hes in trouble and attempts to bank away, but your reflexes are too quick.\n\nBATOOOM! BATOOOM!\n\nThe final two shots nail the array, and the ship explodes in a pink and orange nova of fire, shrapnel, and red mist. Your adrenaline is pumping; your heart is racing.\n\nThe remaining ship quickly banks and flies off. \n\n"Who the fuck was that?!"\n\nWhat's going on here? Your mind harkens back to the corrupted message you found, but the pieces are still scattered. \n\nNow that you are in the clear, you get up from the seat and walk back to the [[hallway|Security]].\n\n
\nThe captain looks at you knowingly.\n\n'For the past week or so, we have been dealing with your mental conditions brought onto you by this damned box. We can't open it.. we don't even know what's inside it or where it came from, but we do know that it has detrimental effects on the minds of those who stay in direct contact with it. The others only had nightmares and paranoia.. you.. well, you had it the worst.'\n\nThe captain walks over to a swivel chair and sits back down, crossing his legs and taking on a more 'professional' demeanor.\n\n'You see, Commander Zeal, I am your doctor, as well as the captain of this vessel. And you and I have been working together to try and solve this issue, to try and figure out how to reverse the effects. We finally deduced that simple isolation from the item can calm effects.. which is why it was locked away in the cargo hold.'\n\nThe captain reaches over and opens a folder on the HUD. He chooses a security video, which displays across the main screen. This video shows the cargo hold, with the golden box in the middle of the room. However, a few hours in the doors open.. and you walk into the hold and stand in front of the chest. After a few hours you finally sit down and remain there.\n\n'However, the other day you went there. You sat in front of the box.. for hours.. it had some hold of you. After that incident, you went insane. You started to have delusions and paranoia.. but you finally had a breakdown.. you killed the Chief Sergeant. The Sergeant, Lieutenant, and I split up to protect us from you, as well as you from the chest.'\n\n[["But.. what happened?"|Explain_2]]\n\n[["That's.. absurd.." You shoot him.|Shoot]]
\nYou pick up the grav pistol and slide it into your belt. \n\nThis might come in handy later.\n\nYou continue walking to the [[larger antechamber|Antechamber_2]].\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nYou look around the room through the glass and see large freight containers filled with god knows what. You don't really remember what you were supposed to be delivering or..\n\nSuddenly your eyes stop on a small chest strapped to the floor. Something about this gold clockwork box reminds you of something but you cannot put your finger on it. You have an unstoppable urge to have that box.. You are utterly entranced by this box.. \n\nSo entranced, in fact, that you completely missed the [[female human|Girl]] standing a few feet on the other side of the door aiming a grav pistol at your head.\n\nSomething inside you [[recognizes|Talk]] her.. then again.. she has a gun aimed at you. \n\nPerhaps she means to [[kill you|Eject]]. That's not cool.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].\n
\nLike with the communications station, a small laser eye scans your face and retina then allowes you entry through these metal reinforced glass doors.\n\nInside this room is a plethora of items; from [[food|Food]], [[clothing|Clothing]], and [[furniture|Sofa]] to spare [[HUD modules|Modules]], [[replacement parts|Replacement]], and the [[ship's safe|Safe]].\n\nThis room is dimly lit, but you can see that it doesn't go anywhere else. If you want something from here, you normally have to request it, but it seems you can do what you want, now that everyone you have met thus far is dead.\n\nYou glance back into the [[hallway|Security]].
\nYou start going through the pockets of the dead guy.\n\nHis name tag says 'Targus'. He's wearing the same uniform that you are.. that's wierd. And why did he call you 'Commander'?\n\nThis shit is just getting strange..\n\nIn his pockets you find a half eaten roll of Bubble-Yum, 19 Space Bucks, and a ball-point pen.\n\n[[Back to important things.|Entry_6]]\n
\nAn image of a beautiful woman standing at a seaside altar, grinning at you from ear to ear, her beautiful red hair billowing in the sea breeze. The priest beside you says those iconic words..\n\n'You may now kiss the bride.'\n\nYou embrace your wife and swoop her up into a passionate kiss..\n\nAnd as you look into her emerald green eyes.. you remember..\n\nThe same eyes.. but filled with tears..\n\nThe cargo hold..\n\nYou killed your wife.\n\n[[You stand in utter silence.|Killed]]
\nYou move to inspect the pods a little closer. There are five pods in total, and they are arranged in a star, standing vertically.\n\nAll five stand empty, however your pod is the only one currently active and open. As you glance into the pod, you can see the HUD displaying the words 'Welcome to TarsaTech Sleep Pods - Press HERE to begin'.\n\nNothing around the pods seems to be out of place.\n\nThe [[security monitors|Monitors]] on the wall near the door show different views from around the vessel as well as a map of the ship.\n\nEverything seems rather [[quiet|Out]].\n\nYou kinda feel the urge to go [[back|Back]] into your sleep pod.
\nSomething inside you triggers. Your mind is racing, calculating trajectories, point break velocities, required ammunition; everything happens in the blink of an eye.\n\nYour targeting reticles show up, pointing out each ship as they approach you.\n\nOne peels away, but the other two are dead set on attacking.\n\nYou place your finger on the [[trigger|No_2]]..\n\nBut a part of you feels uneasy and [[unwilling|Security]].
\nYou orient yourself in the middle of this large antechamber, which looks much like the rest of the ship interior.\n\nTo the left is a bloody hallway and a sign that reads.. [['KITCHEN / COMMUNICATION STATION / ARMS-BATTERY STATION L'|Bloody]].\n\nTo the right is a hallway with a body in the middle of it as well as a sign that reads [['COMMON AREA / SUPPLIES / SECURITY STATION / SHOWERS / ARMS-BATTERY STATION R'|Security]].\n\nStraight ahead is the [[Bridge|Bridge]].
\nYou double-tap the screen and use your fingers to zoom in on the smudge.. \n\nIt's blood.. just spread around the white tile floor.\n\nThe adjacent [[security monitors glow|Monitors]] readily.
\nYou re-orient yourself on the ship.\n\nTo the left is the [[Dormant Chamber|Dormant]].\n\nBehind you is another hallway ending with a [[large blast door|Engine]]. Beyond it, you can hear a muffled, mechanical hum.\n\nTo the right is another hallway curving away from you, much like the one behind you. The sign on the wall has an arrow pointing down this hall with words that read: [['CARGO HOLD'|Cargo]].\n\nStraight ahead of you is another, [[larger antechamber|Pistol]].

Dark Sleep
\nYou open your eyes to the sight of white walls, a white floor, and a white ceiling.\n\nYou have been seeing this same scenery for the past 7 months.\n\nSince your return from the cargo skiff, you have been isolated in this cell away from every other patient in this facility. Upon arrival, you were taken into custody for the murder of Lieutenant Vanessa Zeal and Chief Sergeant Willis Maison. Your son was taken from your custody and sent to live with his godfather, Sergeant Targus, who was like a little brother to you. The official statement said that you were labeled as clinically insane and couldn't be imprisoned. The courts agreed after learning of the artifact in question. Not much is known about it and currently it might not even exist any more after the ship it was on exploded in an impact with a moon. Many questions are left unanswered about the golden chest. For the next two years, you are to undergo mental rehabilitation and screenings to try and remedy the problems caused by exposeure to whatever was in the box. You are not allowed to see your son until you have passed all evaluations and are deemed fit for the outside world.\n\nVanessa Zeal and Willis Maison were both awarded medals posthumously for their efforts in trying to protect military personnel in such a dire situation. \n\nVanessa's gravestone was set on a Tuesday. You were not able to attend. Since the tragedy on the 'Victorious' you haven't had any visitors from either side of your family. You seem to have been completely exiled for what happened. You can't totally blame them. No one could ever really understand what happened up there. You miss her. Every night, you lie in bed and cry as you stare out at the moon, knowing that she is still out there. It always puts a sickening knot in your stomach. But.. something inside you is hopeful.. that maybe she was able to survive.\n\nYou hear a knock from the large door at the other end of the room. \n\nYou remain quiet. You hear a small voice..\n\n'Daddy?'\n\nThe door creaks open.. and in the door way stands a young boy.. \n\nand his mother..\n\na beautiful woman with red hair.\n\n[[The End|Start]]
\nYou pull the grav pistol from your belt and shoot the captain. He ragdolls into the far wall and collapses onto the ground in a puddle of blood.\n\nYou just feel so pissed off.. you haven't gotten any answers. NONE!\n\nYou look back at the screen and see that you only have an hour or so until impact..\n\n[[Shoot yourself.|Ending_2]]\n\n[[Do nothing.|Ending_1]]
\nA soft female voice resonates in the sleep pod.\n\n'Aborting Sleep Protocol.'\n\nA warming sensation covers your body.\n\nNew graphs and information appears on the HUD. The female voice continues..\n\n'Initializing awakening procedures.'\n'Raising core body temperature.'\n'Injecting patient with electrolyte solution.'\n\nYou see clear fluids pouring into the IV tubes that cover you. You begin to feel warmer. The voice continues..\n\n'Core temperature - 89 degrees.'\n'Core temperature - 92 degrees.'\n'Core temperature - 97.2 degrees.'\n'Shutting down heating protocol.'\n\nYou feel more awake and alert. The HUD slides off the glass door as the IV tubes remove themselves and retreat into the sides of the pod. The voice comes in again..\n\n'Stay put please - pod door unlocking.'\n\nThe door to the pod slowly unlocks and slides upwards with a soft woosh sound as the air pressure is normalized.\n\n[[You step forward and out of the pod.|Out]]
\nYou've just taken a Grav round to the head.\n\nYou are dead.\n\n[[The End|Start]].\n\nOr, click [[here|Cargo]] to try again.
\nAs you approach this device, you hear it humming inside. \n\nAs you peer through the glass you see a very large gyroscope spinning rapidly but fluidly. \n\nYou walk over to the control panel and touch it to activate the LCD display screen.\n\nThe bright screen lights up with details on the gyroscope and its inner workings. Many things you just cannot comprehend. Perhaps you should have stayed in school longer.\n\nThere is also a security pad here. Perhaps if you wanted to, you could gain access to the [[terminal|Gyro_End]] and screw with the gravity settings.\n\nYou look around the [[engine room|Engine_4]].
\nThis long hallway curves a bit and ends in a large beautiful room. This place has a sunken area where a semi-real fire burns in a brazier. The room is dimly lit, mainly from the fire in the middle, but there are a few fiery sconces around the room. The room seems to be made of.. stone? The floor is a smooth stone with rich red rugs, large wooden and fur covered chairs, and a large chandelier enshrouded in glowing candles. This place reeks of Viking-chic.\n\nBeside the door is a small LCD control panel. It shows room presets. You select default. At once, the rustic room transforms into an almost surgical atmosphere. It seems that this room has advanced VR/holographic capabilities. It's almost painful to leave.\n\nYou glance back into the [[hallway|Security]].
\nDon't be silly. Guns are important for safety.\n\nYou reconsider [[taking|Pistol]] the gun.
\nBag? What the.. yeah ok. On your person you have..\n\n[[55 Space bucks|Bucks]].\n\n[[A Grav Pistol|Grav]].\n\n[[A pair of lace panties|Panties]].\n\n[[Back|Safe_Fight_1]].\n\n
\nThe young man goes silent for a moment.\n\n'What? You don't remember?'\n\n... \n\n...\n\n'Sir, we were assigned to this ship to obtain a load of freight from a recently decommissioned outpost. After loading up all of the freight, we.. you.. found an unlisted golden chest. It wasn't in any of the registries, but you made an executive decision to bring it aboard. You were.. obsessed with that chest.'\n\nHe begins to cry again.\n\n'And that's when all of this shit happened!'\n\n[[You shake your head in confusion.|Huh]]\n\n[["This is stupid. I'm done talking."|Entry_2]]
\nThe screen shows a timer ticking down..\n\nCryosleep Engaging in 5..\n\n4..\n\n3..\n\n2..\n\n1..\n\nThe calming digital voice of a young woman resonates in the sleep pod.. 'Engage Cryogen injections'.\n\nThe IV tubes that are connected to your body suddenly fill with a light blue liquid that slowly flows into your veins. \n\nA chilling sensation akin to stepping into a cold lake takes over your body. \n\nThe voice speaks again..\n\n'Body temperature - 96 degrees.'\n'Body temperature - 92.4 degrees.'\n'Body temperature - 91.1 degrees.' \n\nYour vision begins to blur as the voice speaks again..\n\n'Body temperature - 88 degrees. Ideal cryogen preservation temperature approaching.' \n\nAs your eyes close you hear the voice one last time.. 'Anticipated sleep cycle - 22 months, 15 days, and 12 hours.'\n\nYou black out.\n\n[[The story is over.|Start]] \n\nGOOD JOB. >:(
\nYou place your hand on the security pad scanner.\n\nThe scanner blinks red. A female voice comes from the system..\n\n'Invalid security key. You do not have access to this terminal.'\n\nLooks like you can't dick around with the settings.\n\nYou look around the [[engine room|Engine_4]].
\nThe girl aims at your head..\n\nAnd out of self preservation, you punch through the small glass window housing the bright red button on the security console..\n\nA loud siren wails for a short moment.\n\nThe doors in front of you double lock with an odd pressurized hiss.\n\nThe woman opens her mouth in an inaudible scream of terror and drops the gun. She leaps to one side and grabs a hold of a large clear container.\n\nThe main cargo bay door suddenly rips open, and sucks the woman gunman and some crates out into the empty abyss of space. \n\nThe force of the solar winds makes a loud racket and everything in the cargo hold rattles and shakes violently, however just as soon as it happens, the main bay door slams shut and everything is as it was.\n\nJust.. minus a woman with a gun and a few crates.\n\nThe [[hand scanner|Enter]] glows beside you. Maybe there's something inside worthwhile? Maybe even that box..\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nZEAL uses SCREAM!\n\nIt's [[not very effective|Safe_Fight_1]].
\nYou attempt to talk to her, but obviously she can't hear you.\n\nAs you knock on the glass, she takes a step back and aims the gun at your head again, eyes wide in fear.\n\nThe [[hand scanner|Talk_2]] glows beside you. Maybe you can talk sense into this girl.. who has a gun aimed at you.\n\nHowever, guns mean [[death|Eject]]. She might be a murderer. It's not wise to trust people who aim a gun at you.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nYou look around.. obviously searching for words. From within you hear the young man's voice, faint from sobs..\n\n'Why Commander.. Why did you do this?'\n\n[[Say nothing.|Nothing]]\n\n[[Try to gain entry|Entry]]\n\n[["What do you mean? Who the hell are you?"|What]]\n
\nYou dive around the corner and fire!\n\nFAHTOOM!\n\nDirect hit to the targeting laser! The turret begins to fire, but you aren't hit. You scamper through the hallway to the other side of the turret. It's too slow to follow. You slide directly underneath the turret and open fire on the turret's power card.\n\nFAHTOOM! FAHTOOM! FAHTOOM! FAHTOOM! FAHTOOM! FAHTOOM!\n\nThe turret finally stops its blind spray of lasers and dangles from a few intact metal rods.\n\nYou get up and run over to the scanner and finish your code breaking. Inside you hear the young man..\n\n'SIR! STOP! PLEASE!'\n\nYou finish the coding and the door locks grind and begin to slide open..\n\nWho do you want to emulate?\n\n[[Han Solo|Entry_6]] or [[Greedo|Greedo]]? (YES from the original. What other is there?)\n\n
\nZEAL throws the Space Bucks at the MYSTERIOUS SAFE!\n\n[[Nothing happens|Safe_Fight_1]].
\nYou scan the outside again. There's a small comet whizzing just outside your range of fire. That would make a pretty explo..\n\n"OH SHIT!"\n\nA trio of nimble spacecraft are speeding towards you. They are very quick, black and white colored. \n\nMaybe it's time to [[leave|Security]].\n\nOr [[not|No]].
\nHaha see what I did there? Yea? Cause.. Saturn has rings and.. \n\nSHUT UP! IT WAS CLEVER!\n\nYou still have the can of [[food|Food]].
\nMost space ships in this day and age utilize gyrometric systems to generate artificial gravity. \n\nYou aren't sure how it works.\n\nYou look around the [[engine room|Engine_4]].
\nYou take hold of the grips and move them around; the control chair follows suit, as well as your vision of the outside. As you move, you hear the gun battery below swivel and move with a mechanical buzz. \n\nYou see an asteroid at your 11 o' clock.\n\nYou take aim. The reticle positions itself over the rock. This seems almost second nature to you.. The battery control HUD pulses with energy and a low beep starts to sound, readying the railgun.\n\nYou pull the trigger..\n\nAnd with a loud boom the railgun fires, and annihilates the asteroid. That was strangely satisfying. However, even though you just shot a ball of rock, you feel as if though you know what it looks like for this weapon to be used on people and spacecraft.\n\nYou hunger to [[demonstrate|Demonstrate]].\n\n"Wait, no. What is this? I don't want to kill people. I need to just get out of here. How do I turn this off?"\n\nAs you stand up from the chair, the battery control system deactivates and begins to return to normal operating conditions.\n\nYou look back into the [[hallway|Bloody_2]].\n\n
\nYou start tipping over the boxes into each other, making a huge clusterfuck of metal parts, wires, tubes, lubes, and other mechanical devices. You find a box of fuses and start to flick them across the room.\n\nIn one of the boxes, you find a crowbar and begin to beat on boxes with the aforementioned crowbar, shattering many things in side and denting the rest.\n\nYou are a dick.\n\nAfter this bit of fun, you toss the crowbar aside and look around the [[supplies room|Supplies]].
\nYou get up and brush yourself off. \n\nYou holster the gun back in your belt, straighten up and walk back out into the hallway..\n\nAnd proceed to be blown away by the turret.\n\nYou are dead.\n\n[[The End|Start]]

\nYou inspect the wires a little closer and pull up one of the metal grates over them. These wires are rather robust and have a [[metal mesh|Mesh]] encasing them.\n\nHowever, you can easily pull these up from their resting place. You just aren't entirely sure what they do or [[where they go|Wires_2]].\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nYou get away safely..\n\nYou just ran from an inanimate object.\n\nYou should feel bad. \n\nYou look around the [[supplies room|Supplies]].

\nYou aren't really gonna spend your time counting are you?\n\nYou aren't an accountant. \n\nThe [[HUD|HUD]] glows in front of you.
\nYou step through the door and into the sleek, curving hallway. The walls are made of the glossy white panels you saw in the Dormant Chamber.\n\nThe floor here is a metal grate, running the length of ship it seems. Under the middle of the hallway, you can see electronics and [[wires|Wires]] running the length of it. Certainly, these were put here to keep them out of the way.\n\nAs you round the corner, you notice a camera slowly panning over to see you. You pause as it stops to inspect you..\n\nThen it lazily resumes its course, reversing directions and panning the other way.\n\nYou have come to an antechamber. \n\n\nTo the left is a [[larger chamber|Pistol]].\n\nTo the right is another hallway ending with a [[large blast door|Engine]]. \nBeep..\nBeep..\nBeep..\n\nThe rhythmic chime of the sleep pod control system gently wakes you from your slumber. Your eyes feel rather heavy as they struggle to focus after waking. Through the clear glass of the cryosleep chamber, you can see the interior of this room. The room is rather large, perhaps around 15 feet high. The walls are covered in shiny white panels. This place is very clean. \n\nYou instantly recognize this as the 'Dormant Chamber'; the location where deep space crews go into cryosleep for long journeys. Scattered throughout the room are mechanical gadgets, LCD read out screens, and other sources of medical information, presumeably for checking the status of a crew member.\n\nYou slowly gain control of your body as the [[sleep paralysis|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis]] from cryo begins to wear off. However, you still feel very cold.\n\nYour hearing begins to attune to your surroundings, distant digital noises can be heard from within the clear coffin; but nothing else. Suddenly, a [[semi-clear HUD|HUD]] appears on the surface of the sleep pod, right in front of your face.
\nYou stand still, frozen in horror.. \n\nHow did you forget all of this? What is the problem here? You were married, with a kid; you were a Commander in the military. You were high ranking and a legend amongst your peers.\n\nHow do you not know yourself?\n\nYou sit down in the hallway and begin to weep. You can't seem to get the image of your wife out of your mind. You see her beautiful face, soft skin; those pretty green eyes, full of tears staring at you.. begging you to remember who you are. She knew that you were not in your right mind and that the only way to save the crew-save the ship, was to shoot you. But, instead, she was sucked out into the darkness to suffer a horrible death in the neverending vacuum of space.. \n\nAll because of you. All because of that FUCKING golden chest.\n\nYou punch the floor in anger. Above you, the blast door slides open, and the younger soldier looks down at you with tears in his eyes. He helps you to your feet and you embrace in a brotherly hug as you break down into tears. \n\nEverything starts to flood back to you. \n\nThe flight to the outpost. The acquisition of the cargo. The golden chest. The voices in your head. The nightmares. You remember killing Maison for trying to stop you. You remember blasting holes in the communications array. You remember trying to sabotage the engines, the gravity, the sleep pods. You even remember Vanessa, running to the cargo bay and locking herself in to keep you away from the chest. You remember the doctor trying to help medicate you. You remember him and Targus forcing you into the sleep pod and attempting to keep you in cryosleep until they could get rid of the chest. You remember.. \n\nWaking up.\n\n[[What now?|Ending_4]]
\nYou arrive at the Dormant Chamber. It seems rather cool in here. \n\nNot much has changed.\n\nGlancing around the chamber, you notice the [[other sleep pods|Pods]] stationed around the middle of the room, making a star shape.\n\nThe [[security monitors|Monitors]] on the wall near the door show different views from around the vessel as well as a map of the ship.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nIn the corner of the room, you see a nicely upholstered sofa. You walk towards it and run your hand across the cushion. It's very nice; probably pretty expensive. \n\nYou turn around and let yourself fall into the sofa and prop your feet up on one of the boxes laying around. This sofa is very comfortable. You can feel yourself nodding off a bit..\n\nNOPE! It's time to get up and find out what's going on here.\n\nYou continue sitting for about 15 minutes, casually scratching your arm and picking your nose, flicking the nasal debris onto the floor.\n\nOk. Now it's time to [[get up|Supplies]].
\nYou place your hand on the scanner and it chimes, signalling that it accepted the print.\n\nYou hear a low grinding sound as the locks are withdrawn and the blast doors are opened.\n\nYou step inside the battery station and behold the magnificence of the ship's defensive capabilitites. Inside this room is a large padded leather swivel chair that is placed infront of a large, wall sized window. Outside of the window you see the infinite darkness of space. You see star clusters, galaxies, planets, and suns burning brightly, consuming the entire field of vision.\n\nThe large leather [[chair|Chair]] stands beside you.\n\nYou look back into the [[hallway|Bloody_2]].
\nZEAL whips out the Grav Pistol and shoots the MYSTERIOUS SAFE!\n\n[[Nothing happens|Safe_Fight_1]].
\nThe young man smacks his hand on the blast door.\n\n'Dammit sir! How do you not remember? You have been in the military for almost 18 years. I have served under you for 8 of my 9 years in. I am Sergeant Luke Targus!'\n\nDoesn't ring a bell.\n\n'Shit, even Maison - Chief Sergeant Willis Maison, has served with you for 15 years. How do you not remember us?'\n\nNope. Still not ringing a bell. You'd think he'd get the damn idea and stop blabbering.\n\n'What about Lieutenant Zeal? Do you really not remember her?'\n\nSomething in your memory.. that name is familiar to you.\n\n[[You stand there, confused.|Huh]]\n\n[["I'm tired of your shit, Targus!"|Entry_2]]
\nYou begin to make your way down this stretch of hallway when you hear a commotion ahead. You can't see anything really.. just more doors.\n\nAs you get to the middle of the hallway, there are a series of rooms that you can explore.\n\nTo your left is a door marked [['COMMON AREA'|Commons]] and another marked [['SECURITY'|Sergeant]].\n\nTo your right is a door marked [['SUPPLIES'|Supplies]] and another marked [['SHOWERS'|Showers]].\n\nAhead is a nother set of blast doors with a sign that says [['ARMS / BATTERY STATION R'|Arms]]\n\nYou look back down the hallway to the [[antechamber|Antechamber_2]].
\nYou don't really think you can break through with your puny human hands, do you?\n\nYou push the door, to no avail.\n\nYou punch the door, to no avail. But now your hand hurts.\n\nYou kick the door, to no avail. But now your foot hurts.\n\nYou try to reason with the door, but to no avail. Now MY brain hurts.\n\nYou take a [[step back|Engine]] and look at the entrance again.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].\n\n
\nThe man inside scoffs. \n\n'What.. no.. I'm not! I'm even the godfather to your son! Don't you remember Aiden? Come on sir! He's only 3 years old!'\n\nThat name.. strikes you hard.\n\n[["Aiden.. my son."|Aiden]]\n\n[[".. no. Fuck it. I'm coming in."|Entry_2]]
\n[[Beep|Beep 3]]..
\n[[Beep|Beginning]]..
\n[[Beep|Beep 2]]..
You see star clusters, galaxies, planets, and suns burning brightly, consuming the entire field of vision.\n\nThe large leather [[chair|Chair_2]] stands beside you.\n\n
\nYou approach the blast doors with the same sort of skepticism as you did with the engine room.\n\nYes these are the same, don't try to punch your way through them.\n\nThe same recessed [[security panel|Battery_2]] is beside the door with the hand scanner to allow entry to those who are allowed.\n\nYou look back into the [[hallway|Bloody_2]].
\nYou remember the birth if your son. He's the spitting image of you, except he has his mother's green eyes..\n\nHis mother's eyes..\n\nYour wife.. Vanessa..\n\nYou realize now.. SHE was the woman in the cargo hold.\n\nYou killed your wife.\n\n[[You stand in utter silence.|Killed]]
\nYou step back into the pod and as you lay back into your sleeping position, the door beings to close in front of you. \n\nWith a soft woosh, the door locks and pressurizes the interior of the pod. A soft mist envelops you, removing all surface bacteria, then is blown away with a fan. A screen appears over the clear glass of the door.\n\n'Welcome to TarsaTech Sleep Pods - Press HERE to begin'.\n\nYou press the button and a wide array of information appears on the screen. After many options are flashed over the screen, the IV tubes begin to come out of the pod and tiny needles pierce your skin. \n\nA message appears on the screen..\n\n'Engage Cryosleep?'\n\nThe [[green button|Back_End]] glows in anticipation.
\nHe looks into your eyes, with tears welling up in his own.\n\n'I can't. You know as well as I do that the first protocol of the Fleet is to self-terminate a ship if there is a hazard on board that threatens the health or safetey of Earth or it's peoples.'\n\nYou stare at him.\n\n'I'm sorry sir. I really am. But that artifact back there.. it's nothing but pure evil.. It twisted our minds.. made you do.. unthinkable things.. terrible things.'\n\nThis guys an idiot. What is he on about?\n\n'Even if you kill me and put holes in the console, this ship WILL crash and detonate on that moon.'\n\n[[Shoot him.|Shoot]]\n\n[[Do nothing.|Ending_1]]
\nYou pull up one of the larger wires and follow it behind you. \n\nThe wire leads you back to the Dormant Chamber. However, as you reach the door, the wire ends with a part that plugs into an odd socket. With [[enough force|Wires_3]], you could probably pull it out.\n\nOf course, then you are just being a dick.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nYou pull on the plug really hard, even using your legs to get more power.\n\nThe plug snaps off at the wire and sparks fly out of the wire violently. The interior of the Dormant Chamber completely shuts down, going dark. The large wire in your hand sputters sparks as if it were blood. \n\nThis is rather dangerous. [[Touching|Wires_End]] the exposed end is probably not a good idea.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nThe man seems astonished, from what you can tell.. being on the other side of this blast door and all.\n\n'Sir.. you have been married to her for 11 years.. she requested to be put under your command for this mission. Don't you remember her?'\n\n[["To hell with this talking bullshit."|Entry_2]]\n\n[["No. I don't. You are lying!"|Lying]]

\nAs you take a seat in the luxurious looking chair, you feel.. as if you have been here before. The contours of the arm rests and cushions feel as if this is yours.\n\nAs you lean back in the chair, resting, a warning siren sounds.\n\nThe chair rotates you to where you are facing directly out of the window. A clear HUD encompasses the entire window, showing weapon selection, remaining ammunition, a series of advanced targeting reticles, as well as a 3D digital hologram layout of the ship and its surroundings.\n\nFrom the sides of the chair rise up munition grips, one on either side. As you take hold of the grips, you hear a mechanical whirring sound. On the 3D model, you see that the left battery bay has opened and the left turret has moved out for action. The twin, independently controlled barrels move out of the turret body and take their position, surveying the area in front of them.\n\nAbove you, a soft female voice emanates from the battery control panel..\n\n'The left battery is online; T-800/Model 101 dual barrel railgun ready for action, Commander Zeal. Operating at 100% efficiency. On-board reflecter shield operating at 100% efficiency.'\n\n[[Uh oh.|Uhoh]]\n\nYou look back into the [[hallway|Bloody_2]]. Time to leave this alone..
\nThe doors slowly part and reveal the engine room of the ship. This room is very large and is dimly lit, save for some bright LCD interfaces on some of the equipment. The engines hum as the ship glides through space.\n\nYou look around and see large [[tall cabinets|Tools]] along the wall.\n\nIn the corner is the [[artificial gravity generator gyro|Gyro]].\n\nAhead of you is the [[engine control panel|Engine_End]].\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nAs you place your hand on the scanner, it lights up and a thin laser runs the length of your hand. After scanning, the interface lets out a small beep and the scanner dims. \n\n'Security check - confirmed. Unlocking Engine Room/[[Gravity Generator|Gravity]].'\n\nThere is a loud, dull grind coming from the [[doors|Engine_4]] as the lock is dropped.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].\n
\nYep. In the future, Rolls Royce makes spaceship engines. Don't argue it. You don't know!\n\nYou look back at the [[Ion Drives|Engine_End]].
\nAs you approach the cargo hold, you feel very wary of the situation. Earlier, you looked at a video feed from the cargo bay and saw a person huddled in the corner. You have no idea what that person is doing there, who they are, or what they want. \n\nYou arrive at the cargo hold, and glance around through the double set of steel reinforced glass doors. On the other side, you see the large room. It's rather dim, but you can easily make out everything in the room. From what you can see, the room is about the same size as the Dormant Chamber and is built much the same. Directly opposite you, however, is the cargo bay door, for loading and unloading materials.\n\nBeside the glass doors is a dimly glowing security console with another [[hand scanner|Hand]] and a large red button beside it, encased in a clear glass case. The console shows that the cargo bay is climate controlled and what items are checked into the hold for transport by date, item, and shipping code.\n\nInside the room are tons of [[boxes|Cargo_2]].\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nWhat will ZEAL do?\n\n[[PUNCH|Punch]] \t\t[[KICK|Kick]]\n[[SCREAM|Scream]] \t\t[[BUBBLEBEAM|Bubblebeam]]\n\n[[Back|Safe_Fight_1]].
\nThe door slides open slowly..\n\nAnd the moment the door reveals a glimpse of the man, you take shot.\n\nFAHTOOM!\n\nHe careens backwards, crashing into what seems to be part of an armory. His [[body|Body]] now lies in a large open locker with all manner of weapons, ammunition, and military supplies. \n\nYou take stock of the room for a moment. Not only is this the armory, but it seems to be the hub for the entire security network of this ship. All cameras, all views, all information regarding every room, nook, cranny, fuel level, oil temperature, EVERYTHING is accessible.. here.\n\nYou look back through all of the cameras, remembering every mvove you have made since you woke from cryosleep..\n\nBut you still don't remember before that single moment.\n\nYou look at one of the camera feeds.. \n\nThe bridge.\n\nThere, a single man stands at the controls.. you recognize him from the corrupted message in the communications room.\n\n"Who the hell does he think he is?"\n\n[[You walk back into the hallway.|Antechamber_2]]

\nYou leap into the showers, crashing through a set of glass doors. Outside, in the hallway, the turret has opened fire and torched the area you were previously standing, turning the floor into molten slag.\n\nYou pull the grav pistol from your belt and..\n\nYou close your eyes. In your mind you can see the exact location of the turret in relation to your current spot. \n\nAround the corner.. 10 ft ceilings, hanging down 1.5 feet, dead center of the hall.. barrel currently at a 45 degree angle.. targeting laser a few inches and to the right of the barrel.. exactly 11 feet away..\n\n[[Dive out and fire!|Entry_5]]\n\n[[Hide here a moment.|Entry_4]]\n\n[[Stand up and walk out.|Walk]]

As you take hold of the grips, you hear a mechanical whirring sound. On the 3D model, you see that the right battery bay has opened and the right turret has moved out for action. The twin, independently controlled barrels move out of the turret body and take their position, surveying the area in front of them.\n\nAbove you, a soft female voice emanates from the battery control panel..\n\n'The right battery is online; T-800/Model 101 dual barrel railgun ready for action, Commander Zeal. Operating at 100% efficiency. On-board reflecter shield operating at 100% efficiency.'\n\nHere we go [[again..|Again]]\n\nOr you can get up and go back to the [[hallway|Security]].
\nYou walk back up to the console, determined to get inside and see what the hell is the problem. \n\nYou suddenly remember passcodes and protocol coding that might be able to bypass the lockdown. You begin to type on the HUD. From within you hear..\n\n'COMMANDER ZEAL! Don't make me! Please!'\n\n[[Ignore?|Entry_3]]\n\n[[Step back and walk away?|Security]]
\nYou ignore the guy inside. Fuck em. You want in. You get into the guts of the coding language and start to bypass the lockdown commands. \n\nHow do you know how to do this? It's kind of mind boggling..\n\n'I'm sorry sir! I warned you!'\n\nAbove, you hear a low whine and a grinding noise. You turn and look in the direction of the..\n\n"OH JESUS CHRIST!"\n\nA ceiling mounted turret has dropped down and has taken aim at you.\n\n[[Time to jet!|Security]]\n\n[[Wait! I have a gun! Dive to the right!|Entry_4]]\n\n[["Will he really fire? I mean, it sounds like he likes me.."|Turret]]
\nAs you move towards the larger antechamber, you stumble on something..\n\nA grav pistol lays at your feet.\n\nYou wonder silently who left it here.. maybe it is yours? Or a pirate! Or a ghost pirate! \n\nYou can [[leave it|Leave]], or [[pick it up|Pick]]. Never know when you need self defense.
\nYou punch the HUD out of anger. The screen caves in a bit and cracks appear in it. \n\nIt still seems to work just fine. Unlike many of today's smartphones.\n\nYou turn and walk back to the [[vestibule|Bloody_2]].\n
\nYou look at the saved transmission and press the 'Preview' button. \n\nAt once a small holographic man appears in front of you. You sort of recognize the aging man.\n\n'Attention Fleet Admiral Arnz. This is Doctor Philip Rollins, Captain of the cargo skiff "Victorious". I regret to inform you that the shipment of ore from the Alkiss refinery will not reach the fleet. We took on an..'\n\nThe message pops and crackles.\n\n'cargo.. a golden chest, but the contents of it..'\n\nMore pops and crackles. It seems the transmission was corrupted with the gun shots.\n\n'member of crew.. hostile.. [[gun|Gun]].. murders. We have lost 3..'\n\nWell this sure is dumb.\n\n'suicide.. moon.'\n\nThe message cuts out. You aren't completely sure what's happened but you can guess. The cryptic nature of the message has you a bit [[frustrated|Frustrated]]. \n\nMaybe it's time to head back to the [[vestibule|Bloody_2]].
\nYou stare out of the windscreen and gaze at the moon that is approaching rather quickly.. \n\nYou desperately flip through controls and menus, but the captain was right.. you can't change the waypoint. This ship will collide with that moon and self destruct.\n\nYou sit down in the captain's chair and stare at your inevitable death..\n\nHow did this all happen? You have so many questions that need answered.. Where are you? What are you doing? Who were those crew members? What were we delivering? What is in that golden chest?\n\nAll of these things run through your mind as the moon rapidly closes in. You can see the finer details of the rocks and craters. You pick up the grav pistol and put the barrel on your temple..\n\nYou close your eyes..\n\nKA---\n\nYou are dead.\n\n[[The End|Start]]
\nThe young man inside sniffles. He seems to regain his composure.\n\n'You are our Commander, sir. I, Zeal, Maison. We are your soldiers. This is our assignment.. security detail on this cargo skiff.'\n\n[[This is absurd. Try to gain entry.|Entry_2]]\n\n[["I'm NOT any Commander! \nHand scanners! It's the future!\n\nWell.. they had them in The Bourne Identity too..\n\nStupid Matt Damon.\n\nInside the room are tons of [[boxes|Cargo_2]].\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nThe mesh on this large wire is very durable and is used on all of the other wires you see.\n\nEvidently, this mesh is highly durable. \n\nThat means you can't break it. SO STOP TRYING.\n\nYou look back down at the [[wire|Wires]].\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].\n\n
\nThe door slides open slowly.. \n\nAnd the young man sprays a hail of laser fire right into your face the moment the door completely opens.\n\nYou are dead.\n\n[[The End.|Start]]
\nThese blast doors are made of a tungsten/titanium material with an extra synthetic element, that you are unsure of, thrown in for additional strength. They are incredibly durable and thick. \n\nNo force known to man at the moment can penetrate the door. Plasma cutters, lasers, and even grav-rounds can't [[penetrate|Blast_End]].\n\nYou take a [[step back|Engine]] and look at the entrance again.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].\n\n
\nYou shake his hand. You and the doctor share a smile and have a seat. He has obtained a box of fine cigars and a bottle of whisky from the supplies room.\n\nHe lights up a cigar and passes you one, along with a glass of whisky. \n\nAs the ship roars towards its dread end, the doctor regales you with stories of his past travels and other bits of his life. He even attempts to explain to you the connection you have with the other people that were on the ship.\n\nApparently, Chief Sergeant Willis Maison had been a long time friend of you. He had served under your command for many years and had specifically requested to come with you on this assignment.\n\nSergeant Luke Targus also served under you for a number of years. In fact, he was the godfather to your 3 year old son Aiden..\n\nWho you never realized you had..\n\nAnd the Lieutenant? Well.. with tears in his eyes, the doctor tells you that she also requested to be on this assignment with you as well. Her name? \n\nLieutenant Vanessa Zeal.. \n\nYour wife. \n\nThe woman from the cargo hold..\n\nThough you still can't remember any of this, something about her name strikes your heart and you feel that it must be true. Sadness overwhelms you as the ship speeds towards its doom. You finish your whisky and look out of the window as the surface of the moon races towards you..\n\nIf only you had never found that box..\n\nKA---\n\nYou are dead.\n\n[[The End|Start]]
\nYou press the green button on the [[HUD|HUD]].\n\nAnother message flickers across the screen..\n\nAre you sure you want to Re-Engage Cryosleep?\n\nThe [[green button|Confirm_Engage]] appears again.\n\nBeside it is the red button to [['Abort Sleep Protocol'|Abort]].
\nYou pull the grav pistol from your belt and begin to fire wildly, blasting holes into the communications array. You exclaim..\n\n'FUCK YOU TECHNOLOGY!'\n\nLights flutter and die out as the power to them is lost..\n\nWhat was that for?\n\nYou walk back to the [[vestibule|Bloody_2]].
\nYou approach the blast doors to the battery station. \n\nYou remember what was inside the other one.\n\nBut, the [[hand scanner|Scan]] lightly glows beside you.\n\nYou glance back into the [[hallway|Security]].
\nSergeant Targus helps you to your feet and together you make your way to the bridge. As you arrive, he yells..\n\n'DOCTOR! He's back! I got the Commander!'\n\nThe doors to the bridge slide open and the man from the corrupted message stands in front of you. He runs up to you and checks you out; he peers into your eyes with a light and checks your pulse. Once he's satisfied that you are ok he turns and runs back to the ship controls. Over his shoulder he calls to you..\n\n'Commander, I'm glad to see that you are safe.. however we now have bigger problems. That chest has welded itself to the floor of this ship. We have all felt it's influence, you most of all. Whatever is INSIDE the chest, is nothing but raw evil.'\n\nYou approach the controls.\n\n'This ship is set on a collision course with a nearby moon. We have roughtly an hour until impact. Now that you aren't blowing up the aid sent to us, we can hop aboard the nearby cruiser and get the hell out of here.'\n\nYou settle down in the Captain's chair beside you, your head in your hand. You are still stricken with grief and disbelief, but at least this nightmare will soon be over..\n\n[[The End|Start]]\n\n[[Epilogue|Epilogue]]
\nThose don't exist you goober!\n\n[[Back|Safe_Fight_1]].
\nYou reach out with your finger tips and pinch the exposed copper wire..\n\nReally. What the fuck did you think was going to happen?\n\nYou die. Infact, the power coming from this wire is enough to explode your entire body.\n\nYou are now a piece of modern art.\n\n[[The End|Start]].\n\n
\nYou continue ahead. The hallway is rather wide, even more so than the others you have been down. It seems to curve to the right, ending in a small vestibule. Around this area, mounted to the wall, is a stretch of cushioned bench making a sort of semicircle. The upholstery is very nice; smooth, velvety red.\n\nAbove you is a security camera that lazily pans around the vestibule. It doesn't seem to react to you in any way.\n\nTo your left is a doorway with a large blast door like before; the sign on the wall says [['ARMS / BATTERY STATION L'|Battery]]. Much like with the engine room, there is a recessed area with the security console and hand scanner.\n\nRight behind you is a smaller room with sliding metal reinforced glass doors. The sign beside it says [['COMMUNICATION STATION'|Comms]]. This room doesn't have a security panel, but instead has a laser scanner that reads the person approaching it and authorizes that person entry.\n\nYou can always go back to the [[main hallway|Bloody]] if you are done exploring here.
\nYou look down at the spread of blood all over the floor, and decide to follow the footprints down this curving hallway.\n\nYou pass by a sign on the way that says 'KITCHEN'. \n\nYou continue to follow the shiny white walls and bloody footprints on the metal floor. Ahead of you is an open door that leads into the kitchen. As you walk in..\n\nThere's a [[dead body|Man]] in the floor. \n\nThe young man appears to have been shot in the chest, a look of intense pain frozen on his face. You remember the gun from the antechamber. Maybe the killer is on the loose in the ship! \n\nYou dash behind the wall and survey the kitchen. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, except there seems to have been a struggle here. Utensils and plates lie scattered throughout the area. \n\nNear the dead man lies a knife. It seems he tried to use it for self defense. Well that didn't work out so well for him, did it?\n\nThere's nothing else of importance in here.\n\nYou can always go back to the [[main hallway|Bloody]] if you are done exploring here.
\nYou take [[aim|Demonstrate]] at another asteroid and pull the trigger.\n\nBATOOOM. \n\nIt disappears in a spray of dust and metal.\n\nYou look back into the [[hallway|Bloody_2]].\n\n
\nBLOOD TOXICITY!? \n\nYour heart beat starts to increase at hearing the word 'toxic' coupled with 'blood'.\n\nHowever, after regaining your senses, you remember that the coma-inducing sleep aid, [[Cryogen|Cryogen]], used for extended sleep, will slowly poison and kill you.\n\nSeems that the percentage is rather low. You breathe a sigh of relief.\n\nThe [[HUD|HUD]] glows in front of you.
\nIn this section of the room are boxes and boxes of spare parts with many different ID numbers and labels.\n\nBest not to [[fool with it|Replacement_2]] all.\n\nYou continue to look around the [[supplies room|Supplies]].
\n... Don't be silly. You can't use Bubblebeam.\n\nIt's [[not very effective|Safe_Fight_1]], anyways.
\nYou walk down the hallway.. stepping over large smears of blood. Something very bad happened here. Ahead of you are bloody footprints leading down another curving stretch of hallway.\n\nSomeone might need your help.. of course that person may also be crazy like that last girl. You should exercise caution with these people. You don't remember much about anyone here.\n\nThe [[hallway|Bloody_2]] continues ahead of you. \n\nThe [[bloody footprints|Bloody_3]] lead off to your right.\n\nYou look back down the hallway to the [[antechamber|Antechamber_2]].
\nYou press the red button on the [[HUD|HUD]].\n\nAnother message flickers across the screen..\n\nAre you sure you want to Abort Sleep Protocol?\n\nThe [[red button|Confirm_Abort]] appears again.\n\nBeside it is the green button to [['Re-Engage Cryosleep'|Engage]].
\nYou walk into this room and quickly realize it's the showers. Different pods are scattered along the walls with clear sliding doors for privacy. \n\nThere's nothing in here, really.\n\nYou glance back into the [[hallway|Security]].
\nThe Dormant Chamber seems rather cool, compared to the climate controlled sleep pod. You realize that you are wearing a standard issue synthetic fiber military uniform. The name patch on the right breast says 'Zeal'. \n\nApparently, that's your last name.\n\nGlancing around the chamber, you notice the [[other sleep pods|Pods]] stationed around the middle of the room, making a star shape.\n\nThe [[security monitors|Monitors]] on the wall near the door show different views from around the vessel as well as a map of the ship.\n\n[[Your sleep pod remains open behind you.|Return]]\n\n
\nCryogen. Cryogen?\n\nThe word seems alien to you.. Wait!\n\nYou remember that Cryogen is a drug-type material that is injected into the body to lower the body temperature and induce a coma-like state of sleep.\n\nCryogen is also infused with an anti-aging chemical that protects the tissues of the body from aging during extended periods of cryosleep.\n\nHowever, using too much of this serum can lead to [[blood toxicity|Toxicity]] and death.\n\nThe [[HUD|HUD]] glows in front of you.
\nLol I lied.\n\nThe other one was the real [[start|Start]].
\nYou glance over at the hand scanner and move towards it to open the doors.. maybe if you can just talk to her then..\n\n[[BATOOOOOOOOOM.|Talk_End]]
\nYeha, well not that much. \n\nThe turret opens fire and turns you into flaming embers.\n\nYou are dead.\n\n[[The End.|Start]]
\n58 bpm..\n60 bpm..\n\nYou seem to be in pretty good condition, physically. Your heart rate is pretty steady.\n\nYou seem to remember a strict regiment of running 6 miles every day. But why? Who enjoys running? \n\nThe [[HUD|HUD]] glows in front of you.\n
\nThe doctor scratches his head and proceeds to answer your question.\n\n'Well, after you killed Chief, we assaulted you. We finally were able to choke you out and lock you in one of the sleep pods. The object was to keep you there until we could get rid of the chest but.. it secured ITSELF to the floor.. some kind of contingency in the box's hardware.'\n\nYou pace the bridge.. you are responsible for the deaths of these people.. all because of this stupid box.\n\n'After we put you in the sleep pod, I came to the bridge to set the course; the Sergeant went to the security station to watch all the cameras in case you got out.. and the Lieutenant went to the cargo hold.. to protect you from the box.'\n\nAll of these people. \nYou come to another door, but this one is like a smaller blast door. You put your hand against it and realize that it's rather sturdy. The sign on the wall says 'SECURITY'. You aren't too sure what that means. You step back and scan the area for a hand scanner to gain access. You find one and move towards it. You place your hand on the scanner and it scans. Suddenly, a chime rings out..\n\n'Security station on lockdown - Code 0, highest priority.'\n\n"What the hell?"\n\nYou place your hand back on the scanner.\n\n'Security station on lockdown - Code 0, highest priority.'\n\nFrom inside the room, you hear a voice..\n\n'BACK THE F-FUCK UP COMMANDER! I-I'm serious!'\n\nYou take a step back and look around. There's a security camera pointed dead at you. What will you do?\n\n[[Calmly walk away?|Security]]\n\n[[Try to gain entry?|Entry]]\n\n[[Talk?|Talking]]\n\n[[Nothing?|Nothing]]

\nThe doctor looks up at you.\n\n'Nothing. The auto pilot will take us to the waypoint, crash and self destruct on impact, destroying everything on this ship, perhaps even part of the moon.'\n\nThe doctor stands up from his chair and walks over to you, with tears in his eyes.\n\n'I know you don't remember me, or any of us, really.. but I just wanted to say.. it's been a pleasure to have known you, Commander.'\n\nHe offer's his hand out to shake.\n\n[[Shake his hand.|Ending_3]]\n\n[[Do nothing.|Ending_1]]\n\n[[Shoot him.|Shoot]]\n\n[[Shoot yourself.|Ending_2]]
\nYou return to the sleep pod. The pod is rather tall and looks a little cramped inside, but as you touch the lining you realize that this is a high grade memory gel and is rather comfortable to sleep on.\n\nThe light grey gel caves in under your finger as you test its integrity. As you pull your finger back, the gel slowly returns to its normal state.\n\nThe AI inside the pod is silent now.\n\nGlancing around the chamber, you notice the [[other sleep pods|Pods]] stationed around the middle of the room, making a star shape.\n\nThe [[security monitors|Monitors]] on the wall near the door show different views from around the vessel as well as a map of the ship.\n\nEverything seems rather [[quiet|Out]].\n\nYou kinda feel the urge to go [[back|Back]] into your sleep pod.
\nFrom the shelf, you pluck a can of [[Papa Saturn's Spaghetti Rings|Rings]]. Fortunately, the space age has done away with can openers and you just twist off the top to gain access to the delicious Italian-esque dish within.\n\nYou cram your mouth full of the pasta, almost to the point of choking. You were rather hungry.\n\n"God damn, those really hit the spot.. now if only I could find a beer..'\n\nAs you finish pouring this can of food down your throat, you glance back around the [[supplies room.|Supplies]]
\nThe doctor/captain gets up and strolls over to the controls and looks out into space with you.\n\n'I know it is.. I set the course.'\n\n[["Then stop the bastard!"|Stop_2]]\n\n[[Shoot him.|Shoot]]
\nYou approach the monitors along the wall near the door. The LCD read outs show the health information for each sleep pod including interior temperature, what nourishment the person is to recieve while in cryo sleep, the time each pod has left until unlock, and much more.\n\nThe security system shows many different camera views in these 6 screens. None of the screens seem to have anything of significance.. a few doors are shut. The hallways are pretty empty and..\n\nWait. In one of the hallway images you see a [[dark smudge|Smudge]] on the floor as the camera pans past it.\n\nIn another hallway you see a distant clump of something; it looks like [[trash|Clump]]. \n\nAs you peruse the security cameras you see the camera labled 'Cargo-Cam_01'. It's the camera for the ship's cargo hold. As is pans from left to right, you see a small bit of backup supplies and a few things you recognize as transport chests. There..\n\nThere's someone in there..\n\n.. huddled in the corner.\n\nThe door next to you is wide open, leading out into a brightly lit [[hallway|Hall_1]].\n\nYou kinda feel the urge to go [[back|Back]] into your sleep pod.
\nYou riffle through the pockets of the dead guy. He doesn't seem to have much on him. A few [[space bucks|http://i.imgur.com/r56tpRD.jpg]].. maybe enough for some soup or something.\n\nYou can't even decipher the guy's name.. the large hole in his chest is right where the nametag would be. Damn. What bad luck, eh?\n\nAfter desecrating this body by looting it, you can head back to the [[hallway|Bloody]].
\nYou continue down the hallway to a large set of blast doors. These doors are made from a very durable metal and seem to be very thick. Whatever is beyond these doors must be highly important and/or dangerous. The grates on the ground seem to stop right in front of these [[blast doors|Blast]].\n\nAbove the blast doors you see a phrase, painted on the panel: 'ENG-GRAV: No admittance'.\n\nUpon closer inspection, you see a small box like opening to the right of the door with a [[small computer screen|Engine_2]].\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nThe girl shakes the gun at you, barrel still pointed at your head. She's screaming at the top of her lungs, tears are rolling down her face. \n\nYou just look at her, and finally she sighs and wipes her eyes. She looks at you knowingly.. and aims right at you again. Then mouths something you can understand from her lip movement..\n\n'I love you. I'm so sorry.'\n\nIt's [[now|Eject_End]] or [[never|Talk_End]].
\nThe young man sounds confused.\n\n'You.. what.. no. Sir. Zeal. Vanessa Zeal. YOUR WIFE.'\n\n[["What are you talking about? I don't have a wife you idiot!"|No_Wife]]\n\n[["This is absurd. I'm coming in."|Entry_2]]\n\n[["Wait.. .. Vanessa?"|Vanessa]]
\nThese are just spare HUD modules. They are LCD and rather thin but still somewhat flexible. You bend one too much, and it cracks; the screen looks like a silvery spiderweb. \n\nOops.\n\nYou set the broken screen back in the box and continue to look around the [[supplies room|Supplies]].
\nYou place your hand on the scanner, and the doors unlock. \n\nInside the cargo hold are many large freight boxes all stacked up together and.. yep. Locked. You can't seem to get into any of these. As you touch the crates, your hands seem to stick to the outside because of the frost picked up while the main bay door was open. All of these boxes seem to be rather bland and the absence of markings or words gives no clue to their contents.\n\nYou make your way over to the clockwork box in the middle of the room. It's very beautiful and intricate in it's design and creation. But.. what could be inside? The outside seems to be purely ornamental and disguises what it could hold within. Strangely enough, though, there's nothing on the outside of this box that seems to indicate a hinge, lock, or seal.\n\nBut you know that you want this box. Whatever is inside. You can just come back for this later. Since it's pinned to the floor, it's not going anywhere any time soon.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nYou place your hand on the scanner again. The computer voices chimes again..\n\n'Security station on lockdown - Code 0, highest priority.'\n\nFrom inside you hear the male voice again..\n\n'COMMANDER! Sir! Back away from the door! I-I don't want to have to kill you!'\n\n[[Walk away?|Security]]\n\n[[Continue trying to break in?|Entry_2]]
\nI'm starting to question your mindset a bit.. \n\nI mean, you DID just click on the word 'dick'. Freud would be proud.\n\nWhat did you think that would lead you to anyways?\n\nYou look back down at the [[wire|Wires]].\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nYou double-tap the screen and use your fingers to zoom in on the clump of trash..\n\nAnd realize right away that it's the body of a crew member.\n\nJust what the fuck is going here?!\n\nThe adjacent [[security monitors glow|Monitors]] readily.
\nYou approach the blast doors leading to the bridge. These are much like the ones you saw earlier; well built and nigh impenetrable. \n\nYou walk over to the hand scanner and allow it to do its job. The scanner lets out a low chime and the blast doors being to slowly slide open with an agonizing grind. In this room, you see the forward command center of the ship, complete with a large set of three swivel chairs, set apart on three different levels. The control HUD is pulled up, and spans over 10 feet wide in a long arc. All of the flight information is here.. including a waypoint..\n\nWhich is aimed dead at a distant moon!\n\nYou rush to the controls but find them inactive.. the captain of this vessel has put them on lockdown and the waypoint is on autopilot.\n\nThe captain turns to you from one of the swivel chairs and looks at you with sadness on his face. \n\n'I'm sorry Commander Zeal.. there's nothing more I can do for you.'\n\n[["What the hell are you going on about?"|Captain]]\n\n[["STOP THE SHIP! WE ARE GOING TO CRASH!"|Stop]]\n\nYou look back down the hallway to the [[antechamber|Antechamber_2]].
\nThe captain gets up from his chair and joins you at the controls. He looks very distraught and his puffy eyes point as evidence to him crying. He takes off his classes and places them in the breast pocket of his white coat.\n\n'The golden crate we brought onboard.. it has some sort of fel energy about it.. some sort of alien technology. It manipulates the mind, inciting nightmares, insomnia, paranoia, delusions, psychotic breaks and even has caused one case of multiple personality disorder.. But whether they were dormant in the individual or if they lived within the artifact, I know not..'\n\nYou realize that by 'one case', he means you.\n\n[[Shoot him.|Shoot]]\n\n[["What do you mean, multiple personalities?"|Explain]]
\nAs you walk towards the Communcation Station a small laser emits from a camera above the door. The laser scans your face and then concentrates on your eye. You hear a faint 'ping' sound and the glass doors slide open.\n\nAs you enter the room, you see that it's rather small compared to the rest. At the back of the room is a large communications array with two swivel chairs mounted in front of it. Many lights flash from the array and you see a HUD for inputting information for messaging. \n\nUpon closer inspection, you realize that many of the systems here have been destroyed; seems like someone shot them and disabled any outgoing or incoming transmissions. To the right is another interface but this one has an unbroken screen. As you look at the information on it, you realize that it has a [[message saved|Play]] on it that was never sent out.\n\nYou look back into the [[hallway|Bloody_2]].\n\n
\nYou look into the cabinets.\n\nInside are tools and equipment used to repair the technology in the ship. Most of the stuff in here.. you have no idea what it does.\n\nEvidently, mechanical maintainence is not your job.\n\nYou look around the [[engine room|Engine_4]].

\nThe opening in the wall reveals a computer screen with a small pad underneath for hand print recognition.\n\nYou touch the screen and it lights up.\n\n[['Place hand on the pad for security scan to release locks.'|Engine_3]]\n\nYou take a [[step back|Engine]] and look at the entrance again.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nWHY! WHY DID YOU THINK THAT WOULD POSSIBLY END WELL?\n\nYOU DIE, YOU GOOBER!\n\n[[The End|Start]].
\nThe planet, Earth, is the third planet from the sun and is a terrestrial planet much like its counterparts - [[Mercury|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury_(planet)]], [[Venus|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venus]], and [[Mars|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars]]; which are different from the Jovial planets, which are made up of a thick layer of gases and a small rocky core overlaid with metallic hydrogen. \n\nEveryone knows this. Just saying.\n\nBut why have you left Earth? Your mind is still a little foggy.\n\nThe [[HUD|HUD]] glows in front of you.
\nThe girl is aiming a grav pistol at you through the glass doors. She's breathing rather heavily and has tears streaming down from her pretty green eyes. Her uniform has been spattered with blood, as well as her hands, arms, and face. Aside from all this, she is rather attractive. Perhaps if she wasn't so gross right now, well that and aiming a gun at you, ya might have asked her out.\n\nShe's mouthing words that you can't hear.. \n\nBut after each sentence, she spits in anger and aims at your head again, her trigger finger trembling.\n\nSomething inside you [[recognizes|Talk]] her.. then again.. she has a gun aimed at you. \n\nPerhaps she means to [[kill you|Eject]]. That's not cool.\n\nYou glance back down the [[hallway|Antechamber_1]].
\nYou peer into some of the many boxes of clothing laying around the room. Inside you see what you would expect to; spare uniforms, gloves, socks, belts..\n\n"[[Thong|Thong]] underwear? What the hell is this?"\n\nYou pick up the lacey delicates and you instantly feel a bit of sexual frustration and embarassment. You look around to see if anyone saw you..\n\nYes. There's a camera looking dead at you.\n\nNothing to see here! You look around the [[supplies room|Supplies]].
You can see the finer details of the rocks and craters.\n\nYou close your eyes..\n\nKA---\n\nYou are dead.\n\n[[The End|Start]]
