Visual Novel Fan Simulator

The game is about Visual Novels, so if you don't care to play a game about Visual Novels, you don't have to play. I won't judge you if you won't judge me. The general plotline of the Visual Novels in this game are abridged from actual works and I do not claim ownership over the images or characters. You go home after a long day and turn on your computer. Nothing you enjoy more at the end of a long day than to play what people call Visual Novels. Sometimes you get so involved in them that you feel like you are one with the protagonist; the first person point of view in the games make it feel like you're actually the one conversing with the characters. It's like a choose-your-own-adventure game that's mostly dialogue. The "end goal" is usually romance. Sometimes survival or glory can be involved, or death and despair. [[Proceed]] [[Go look at a picture of a penguin instead]]

Inori is playing piano in the music room. You're not well-versed in music, but you can tell the soothing undertone of her music is no longer there; instead, you can feel the sorrow flowing from it. [[Open the door->C2]] [[Leave->C3]]

"I liked your music better when you played it in a happier tone." You casually uttered as you opened the door. "I'm glad that you can understand my music." Eventually you two are able to talk to each other normally again. However, the question looms over your mind. Why did she ever break up with you? [[Ask her->C21]] [[Just avoid the topic->C31]]

Maybe it's better to not get too close to her again. You've just came to terms with the break up. Eventually, both of you graduate and you never really heard from her again. [[The End.->Bad End]]

"Haruki, you idiot! Kazu-chan is a girl!" Ruri yelled. "Wait what?".. Then it hit you. Kazu when written out in Japanese can be 和 or 和津, one of which is a girl's name. Ruri bites your arm angrily. [[Apologize->Z2]] [[Retort->Y2]]

You walk home in the rain. Today is Valentines Day. Your lover for the past two-and-a-half years, Misasagi Inori, have dumped you right after the exchange of presents. You stumbled onto the floor in your apartment, all drenched. You think back to all the good times, all the time you've spent together. Before you realize it, it is already evening. You finally snap out of your daze for now, and realize there's something in your hand. It is chocolate from Inori; you've been clutching to it ever since you got it. You sighed loudly, and throw away the last gift you'll get from her. Perhaps it is for the better. You thought about life: there are plenty of nice girls out there, why get so hung up on Inori? You think deeply. A face appears in your head. [[That's Haya from work!->F1]] [[That's Miyabi from school!->G1]]

You still can't forget about her. After all, you spent most of your high school with her. You've grown accustomed to her face. She almost makes the day begin. Her smiles, her frowns; Her ups, her downs, are second nature to you now. Suddenly, you are brought back to the real world with the ringing of your alarm clock. [[Look at the time->Sleep End]]

"Well, you never really told me! How am I unfaithful if I never knew Kazu's a girl?" Ruri cries and yells "Haruki you idiot!" before turning back into a fox and disappearing before your eyes forever. [[The End->Bad End]]

You've been stricken with bad luck ever since you remember. Losing wallets, falling over, getting splashed by passing trucks, getting pooped on by birds, anything a person can think of, you've been on the receiving end of it. In fact, since you lose your wallet so often, most of your allowance is in the possession of your younger sister Sana. Every morning she gives you enough coins to buy lunch, and nothing more. It's probably better this way, since you lose them quite often. [[Fast forward to this morning->A4]]

Just when you're about to read the next lines, you are brought back to the real world with the ringing of your alarm clock. [[Look at the time->Sleep End]]

Sana exclaims while you're eating your cereal: "Hey brother, what's this giant box? Oh no you're so lonely and desperate you must've ordered a wife from Eastern Europe!" You scratched your head and said: "Sana, you know I don't have a credit card. Plus, with my bad luck the package would get sent to the wrong house or something!" A look of panic appearson Sana's face: "What if it's a bomb but sent to our address by mistake? A bomb this size would blow up the entire neighbourhood! We should wait until Gramps come home to deal with it." [[Suddenly, the box falls over->A5]]

Just as you and Sana tries to lift it upright, it magically floats upright again. "I don't have a good feeling about this" "Me neither!" Sana chimes in. The box starts to emit rumbling from with in. You look to Sana, "However, something might be alive inside and we should let it out before it dies." Sana says with a defeated look on her face: "I warned you. If it's a dangerous wild animal you'll have to explain to Gramps why our house is trashed up!" [[Open the box->A6]]

You turn off the computer, mumbling to yourself "should've chose another option". You go to bed, knowing that tomorrow will be another long day.

"I'm sorry, Ruri, I shouldn't have assumed her gender, just because she was possessing a guy! Please forgive me." Ruri bites harder into you and mumbled "Well, I'll just mark your arm with my scent to make sure nobody steals my mate!" You got to experience happiness and blinding pain at the same time. "I'm glad I played that game! Would totally play a game by their company again." You turn off the computer and get ready for bed, ending your night on a high note.

You look at the time, and it's already 10 pm. Time sure flies by when you're having fun! With regret, you save your progress turn off the computer and get ready for bed, anxious to find out what will happen next in your game tomorrow night.

She seems smart, well cultured and also very athletic, being the captain of the naginata club. She seems like your type. One day, she suddenly disappear from your life. You never hear from her again. [[The End->Bad End]]

You asked her the question several times, but she often just smile it off. One day while talking about the good-weather dolls, the thought hit you. [[She's your childhood friend Tsubasa-chan!->C22]]
