You begin your day off as you begin every other day off; sleeping in, waking up to then relax on the couch and watch tv. Some days you have exciting plans to enjoy, with friends out and about, but today is not one of those days. Today will be a boring day, with no plans, but a rather large hunger craving. You then decide to get up from the couch and then head to the kitchen to prepare a sandwich, as you are, again, feeling quite hungry. In the kitchen you then prepare mentally every item that will come on your sandwich. You open your refrigerator and then:
[[Reach behind you and grab the bread, whole grain and hearty!]]
[[Reach for the meats, deli select!]]
[[reach for the lettuce, green and fresh!]]
[[reach for the tomatoes, ripe and crisp!]]
[[reach for the cheese, nice texture, and fragrant!]]
[[Reach for.... the odd purple plate?]]
As you touch the bread, your vision darkens, and you feel yourself yanked through time. You begin to smell the weight of time as well as feel the brush across your face of what can only be assumed sand. You are then plopped out of the sky to land on a hot sand dune. As you stand up to get your bearings, you notice that your surroundings include pyramids, with the Nile in the distance. You conclude that somehow, you are in Egypt, sometime in the past. As this realization comes to you, you feel an alkaline taste in your mouth, and before your very eyes two flashes of light explode in front of you. As the light begins to fade, standing before you are two ominous sentinels. Both are much taller than you, drabbed in egyptian attire....and both are humanoid versions of familiar animals. The one on the right is golden, with the head of a majestic falcon, holding a shining spear. The one on the left is the color of dark ashe and macabre, with the head of a jackal, holding a rusty scythe. Both hold out their free hand to you.
[[You grab hold of the jackals' hand]]
[[You grab hold of the falcons' hand]]
[[You collapse in a state of shock]]
As your hand grabs the packages of meat, your vision blackens, you hear a loud compressed pop..........and pass out. When you come to, you open your eyes to an unfamiliar sky. You get up to look around, and notice that you are surrounded by aliens! They stand still around you, as you hear the sounds of war off in the distance. One approaches and offers you a glowing spear. You...
[[Scream and try to run away]]
[[Accept the spear]]
As soon as you grab the lettuce, it begins to grow at an alarming rate in your hand. You drop it in horror, watching as it continues to grow while landing on the floor. As it grows, it begins to mutate into different plants, trees and a massive landscape, crushing your home from the inside out, on to other homes and streets.
[[You decide to run while this is happening]]
[[You stand still in fear]]
As your hand grasps the tomatoes, a massive force tugs at your feet, and you are violently ripped downward through the ground. Somehow, some way, you are not harmed in this process, but continue to be yanked down, for what seems like an eternity. You begin to feel warmth, and between the bouts of fear swirling through your mind, you remember that the earths' core is molten. Your fear rises, only to be cast aside as the heat passes over you without you being harmed and you then plop into a massive chamber, lit up by the walls glowing the as molten material seems to envelope this spherical chamber. Your landing slows as you come to rest on a round metal platform, with 4 small platforms attached. Each of the 4 platforms has a single old man, bedecked in different colored attire, all individually weathered by what appears different elements. In the middle of the platform yet another old man stands, this one in simple drab. You land right in front of him, and his eyes open to reveal very old and ancient eyes, those that have seen too much but continue to watch still. The old man speaks, sounding very normal but completely out of place where you now are. beckons you to come closer.
[[This is insane, try to run away]]
[[Walk up to the old man, and see what he has to say]]
As your hand grabs the cheese, something akin to the sound of a lazer erupts, and your hand begins to dissolve in a cascade of binary. You begin to scream, as your entire body joins in the dissolvement, and before long you become nothing but a series of 1's and 0's. You are then pulled through the air to your bedroom, towards your computer. Your "collectioned" self begins to slip into your tower, and immediately you are absorbed into your mother board. After some time, you awaken......to a world of neon and black skies. Polygons fly above your head with random elements, and the plane you now stand upon is that of a green grid. You start to panic, and begin attempting to come to a few decisions. As you do so, your thoughts come to life in front of you in strings of binary, and you realize that these are your choices! What do you decide?
[[01101011010001101110011010]]
[[10011011100011011100011001]]
As you grip the cold clean purple plate, you feel a sense of internal cold dread; as if the plate doesn't want to be touched. A few choices cross your brain over this weird dillema:
[[It's just a dumb plate; I'm making my sandwich!]]
[[Not falling for this, pizza sounds better right about now!]]
Not to be deterred, you grab the plate first, and then collect the rest of the ingredients and make a beautifully crafted sandwich. You take the sandwich on the plate and hop right back on the couch to enjoy. As you begin your first bites of this delicious sandwich, you can't help but sense a faint collection of noise, almost discernable from the usual external noise. As your chewing, you try as hard as you can to focus on the sound......and hear a chaotic symphony of the sounds of battle, laughter, crying, and many more lost in the collective of noise. You look around, but nothing seems out of the ordinary. You continue eating the rest of your sandwich, blocking out the small insignificant sound. After you finish, the sound finally recedes. You chalk up the sounds to your imagination, and enjoy the rest of your day off!
You leave the plate in the fridge, close it up, and pick up the phone. You dial your nearest pizza joint, place an order for delivery, and after some time your pizza arrives. You enjoy the pizza, and spend the rest of the day relaxing and watching tv. When it's time to hit the hay, you begin the walk to your bedroom, passing by the kitchen as you go. For a brief moment, just before the kitchen passes out of your peripheal view.... the chill you felt earlier returns, for just a brief moment, traveling quickly from your hand up your arm. You immediately run to your bedroom, close the door, hop into bed, and try to shake yourself from such a weird day. Nighty night! Perhaps you would like a midnight snack later........?
you flee from the initial group of aliens, panicked and shocked. Where are you? How did you get here? Is any of this real? As you cross the unfamiliar red landscape, you ignore the obvious details of battle around you, looking left and right for some sense of direction. You then run right into a giant armored leg, and fall down. You gaze up, in utter terror, as titanic armored form stands before you, now drawn to your presence. Its red dull visor begins to glow a bright harsh red, and in your shock, you find yourself powerless to move. The last thing you see, right before the the beam disintigrates you into powder.....is that odd purple plate, and distant laughter...
You accept the spear, feeling an ancient power ripple through you. The aliens then speak to you in a language you find yourself able to understand, and quickly explain that they are an alien race embedded in a civil war for the freedom of all their kind, and that you are prophesied to arrive at a crucial point in the war, claim the relic spear of their world, and help them overcome their oppressors.
[[Decide to accept the truth, and help them fight for their world]]
[[Reject it, and this reality and walk away]]
You force yourself to accept this truth, trust the aliens, and decide to fight. You find that the aliens words slowly prove true, as you realize with spear in hand you are able to leap huge bounds, are impervious to anything the controlling regime can throw at you, and have supernatural strength and speed. Within a few weeks, you and the rebel alien forces swathe a path to the seat of power of their planet, and in a titanic battle, cast down the tyrannical overlords of this planet. The rest of the planet then follows suit, submitting to you, thus securing the rebel victory. As a reward, they give you the ceremonial title of Champion, and you spend the rest of your days upon this planet as such. In time, you forget your old life, your friends, your family, your home.....and that odd purple plate.
As you drop the spear and begin walking away, telling yourself none of this is real, you hear the distant boom of what you can only relate to as artillery. Your logic proves to be true, as you then look up to see bizarre alien shells falling right down on top of you. Amidst your screams and the strange screams of the group of aliens nearby, you hear laughter in the corner of your mind, and then you disappear in a series of massive shell explosions......
You are both immediately transported to an underground cavern, with dim lighting and surrounded by brooding figures that are cast in an almost "dark light" glow. The ominous figure then looks upon you with derision and speaks. "You. I care not how you have come to be here, but you will listen well to my next words. I am the avatar of Set, and the land you have arrived in is the lands controlled by my rival, the Golden One. I sense within you the power to control the spirits of those made of flesh, and you WILL have them bow to my power. When the lands of Egypt are under my control, these peoples will serve me in my conquest over the rest of the world and all will serve and praise me."
[[This is ridiculous, I'm walking out of here to find my way home]]
[[This is some dark, crazy stuff. I'm in!]]
You both are immediately transported atop a grand structure with a beautiful surrounding view. The pyramid itself is close to the Nile, and you see fertile lands traveling all along the mighty river. As your gaze travels up and down the majesty of what you are seeing, you notice something odd. Instead of people plowing fields, fishing, and going to and fro in their daily lives.....you see luminary figures. They are humanoid, and mimic the same actions you would expect of the peoples along the Nile. From behind you hear a regal, almost harmonious tone speak "They are the spirit of my people. Those who bask in light and peace, I love them as my own children." You turn to see that it is the golden figure once again who has spoken. You ask him:
[[Where am I?]]
[[Who are you?]]
You awaken many hours later.
The figures are gone, and you are left alone under a harsh desert sun. You are dehydrated, and your body is weak. You begin walking in the direction of the Nile, only to eventually fall to you knees and begin crawling. A short time after that, you begin to realize you'll never make it, and decide to close your eyes, and curse that stupid sandwich you wanted....
He answers you, again in a soothing tone "Child, you are in the ethereal spirit realm of Egypt. I know not by which way you have come to be here, but your appearance in this realm seems timely. In this realm we do not concern ourselves with the physical aspect, instead we focus and influence through spirit. There has been an eternal struggle between myself and the Dark One from before. I try to spread goodwill through man, to act in good nature and help his fellow man; while the Dark One tries to corrupt man's spirit into barbarous acts and bloody conquest. Your arrival is seen as the tipping point."
[[I don't care for any of this, I'm going home]]
[[Give in to his intriguing speech]]
He answers you words like honey "I am the ethereal avatar of Horus, guardian over the spirits of the Nile. Your arrival is anything but coincidental, and I have brought you to this place to propose an alliance of sorts. There is an eternal war over the spirits of man in this land between me and the Dark One from earlier. I ask for your help, child."
[[I don't care for any of this, I'm going home]]
[[Give in to his intriguing speech]]
He speaks to you, telling you that you are free to leave, but he knows not how to return you to your home. As you begin descending the steps of the pyramid, you hear him lament over this "eternal sruggle" and how it will never end. You begin wandering beyond into the distance, feeling neither hunger, thirst or exhaustion. You begin to realize that at least part of what the golden figure said was true, in this realm bodily demands are nonexistent. Unfortunately, as you roam for days beyond the borders of egypt, you realize you inhabit this realm for what seems the entire world, and have no idea how to get back. Slowly, over time, you lose sense of direction, madness begins to take hold of your mind, and in the end, you simply become another wandering lost soul in the realm of spirits. At some point, wandering the lands, your gaze is drawn skyward by a small, spinning object. About the size of a discus, it is purple and oddly familiar, and then you hear laughter from all around. You pay it no mind, and continue onward to roam for eternity.
He continues to tell you that you and you alone have the power to influence directly with the spirits, as he is disconnected somewhat by way of godhood. He asks that you become his prophet and spread the the light by way of praises and helping those that have become lost. You oblige, casting off such mundane worries as returning home, and feeling a nobler purpose in such a noble cause. You spend years speaking to the spirits, as well as finding darker ones that appear to heed your words, and slowly lose their tainted demeanor and begin to glow bright, as the others. In time, you realize that everyone in these lands have now felt the light touch upon their spirits and have welcomed it gladly. A Thunderous boom rings out, and you are immediately transported to a location somewhere high in the skies. It is bright and glorious sun that shines down, with friendly white clouds. Before you, once again, the two figures stand silently, this time facing each other. The golden figure then lightly bows his head towards the dark figure, with the dark figure returning the gesture, albeit grudgingly. As he does so, his body begins to dissipate in ashe, and is then scattered among the winds. The golden figure turns to you and thanks you for your hard work, and then welcomes you into the fold of gods, as you become a lesser god of compassion and goodwill, always striving to lift up what was once considered your fellow man.
As soon as you turn your back on him to walk out, you feel a sharp pain in your chest. You look down to find the rusty sycthe embedded in your chest from behind. He lifts the scythe and turns you around to face him, as pain floods your senses. "Foolish little man, this was not a proposal, you WILL serve me!" You begin to lose all of your senses, except that of your sight. You feel a dark power ripple through your body, as the ashen figure sets you down and pulls the scythe from your body. You feel a loss of control as your body heals, and then begins marching out of the cave on its own. You then find yourself wandering the lands, grabbing hold of bright golden spirits and through your arms befouling them to darker spirits as those within the cave. You can't help but reel in horror within your own mind as you become a tool of corruption and slavery, bending every spirit tied to man in these lands to darkness. At some point, you realize the land is completely converted to darkness, and a thunderous boom rings out, and you are transported to an area high above in the sky. Dark clouds blot the sky, with the sound of thunder in the background. Before you, stands the two figures once again, golden and resplendent, dark and macabre. The dark one then slightly bows to the golden figure, with an evil smile upon his features, and the golden returns the gesture, sadly. He then turns to you, almost with a feeling of direct loss, and you sense sadness in his gaze. Then, with a breeze of wind, his body turns to glowing ashes and is scattered to the winds. The Dark One then begins his promised campaign to conquer the known world with you at the forefront, subduing every soul you find to one day have the entire world bow to the whims of Set.
You welcome this information, and then then lays his hand upon your head. You feel a surge of dark power flow through you, as well as a dark purpose. You then find yourself wandering the lands, grabbing hold of bright golden spirits and through your arms befouling them to darker spirits as those within the cave. You can't help but feel a rush of joyous madness within your own mind as you become a tool of corruption and slavery, bending every spirit tied to man in these lands to darkness. As you begin your first steps to run, plants, branches and vines snag you as they continue to grow, quickly enveloping your body and begin constricting you. You become immobilized, and your body begins to be crushed by the constrictions. As the last breath of air leaves your body and your vision is covered by greenery, you swear you hear a malicious laughter from somewhere unknown.....
Against better judgement you choose to stand still, as the world around you disappears and is replaced by the growing flora. Before you know it, you are standing in the middle of a massive jungle. The sound of distant animals and birds assault your ears, cementing the concept that you are indeed now in some twisted jungle. When everything stops growing, you decide after a few motionless minutes to start moving, as you begin to hear unsavory growls in the distance. You eventually arrive at a split path through the brush, and are forced to choose a direction.
[[take the left path]]
[[take the right path]]
You choose to take the left path, hoping to find a way out of this seemingly impossible situation you find yourself in. Eventually, the path begins to disappear, and you are forced to continue on through condensed foliage. You begin pushing through the foliage and...
(either: "[[You hear a hiss and then feel a sharp pain in your arm]]","[[After some time you finally pull back the last bit of foliage in your way]]")
You choose to take the right path, hoping that there is an exit away from this madness at some point. While walking, you feel a sharp prick on your neck, and reach up to feel what has caused the pain. Your hand brushes up against a feather dart lodged in your neck, and immediately begin to feel drowsy. You fall on your back, as your vision swims and begins to dim. Before you pass out, you see tribal-like men standing over you......
(either: "[[The dart must have been very potent...]]","[[You awaken strung upside down by your hands and feet...]]")
You slept too long, and awaken by flaring pain all over your body. You realize you have been dropped into a very large boiling pot, while the tribal men from your memory dance around and prepare for a cannibal feast. As you try to climb out you are prodded by stick right back in, and one tribal runs over holding a giant lid. Right before the lid comes down upon the pot, you spot the tribals holding crude utenils for eating, and familiar.......odd looking........purple plates.......
You awaken, drowsy, to the sound of chanting. The tribal men from earlier are dancing around a very large cauldron situated in a torch-lit room that you now inhabit. They do not notice you coming to, and your fear and instincts kick in. You realize the rope around your hands and feet are poorly tied, as if the tribals believed you would not awaken in time to attempt anything. You begin pulling with all your might, and the rope around your hands breaks. You then begin pull and untie the rope around your feet, land on your back, and realize the tribals have still not noticed you. You then begin to sneak along the wall, and come across a small alcove with a beautiful ruby sitting on a stone pedestal. You...
[[Leave the ruby, this is no time for greed]]
[[Grab the ruby]]
You look down to see a vicious looking viper stuck to your arm, fangs deep. You immediately begin to feel the effects of venom coursing through your veins, and everything begins to hurt all over. You fall amongst the dense foliage, hitting anything in the way on the way down. Your body screams in pain, and you begin to feel the only defense mechanism you have in such a situation: You begin to pass out from the pain. Right before you close your eyes, never to open them again, you spot the face of the viper, and more importantly, its eyes. Purple, round discs of malice.
In the clearing ahead, you spot a massive temple, somehow transposed to this location and untouched by the maddening jungle. You see what appears to be some sort of tribals off in the distance emerging from the jungle and heading into the temple through a dark open doorway. You decide to...
[[Sneak up to the temple, and attempt to sneak in]]
[[This is too freaky, go back the way you came]]
You manage to sneak inside, following the path the tribals took to arrive in a large room, lit by torches, and in the middle a very large cauldron sits. You then sneak around the walls to a small alcove, where a beautiful ruby lays upon a lone stone pillar. You...
[[Leave the ruby, this is no time for greed]]
[[Grab the ruby]]
You turn to go back into the brush, and begin walking through it to head back from where you started.
(either:"[[You hear a hiss and then feel a sharp pain in your arm]]")
You decide to leave the ruby, and decide to escape. You realize there is no other way out from this insane temple besides the one open doorway. You begin sneaking around the wall to the temple door, and your foot brushes up against a rock. The rock is kicked and begins falling down the center steps of the temple, attracting the attention of the tribals. They turn to focus upon you, and you begin to run. The last thing you feel is the puncture of dozens of darts into your back, causing an almost impossibly quick knockout effect. As you come crashing down, face first, the vision that comes to meet you is not the floor itself, but a pile of odd looking purple plates........
Immediately after grabbing the ruby, you hear a shrill scream from behind you. The tribals are all focused upon you, screaming psychotically, as if possessed. You immediately flee the room, heading out the door, and into the jungle. The sounds of screams can be heard behind you, as every single tribal from the temple is chasing you, never stopping their mad screams. You begin running through the jungle, not caring which direction you are heading, just as long as you are far away from the screaming tribals. In your path appears a waist-high branch, and you must somehow avoid it. You..
[[Duck under]]
[[Jump over]]
You nimbly duck under the branch and continue running. Up ahead is light, a sign of an end to this jungle. You come bursting forth from the jungle into familiar world, a calm suburbia, with streets, cars, homes and noise. You stop, trying to collect yourself, and begin to turn around to face the jungle. Only....the jungle is gone, and instead, you are facing the outside of your home. You are in disbelief, wondering if you are in fact losing your mind. You feel a large lump in one of your pockets, and in curiosity, reach down to pull whatever it is out. Within your hand is a beautiful red ruby, gleaming with your reflection upon it. Somehow, some way, you have emerged from what was seemingly a nightmare, and back into the normal world, a much, much wealthier person.....
You attempt to jump over, but your foot catches. You are immediately slammed face first into the ground, and knocked unconscious. You never awaken......
You choose to run away, a decision which in of itself is a poor decision given your location. The powers that held you aloft from falling to your doom from before are no longer there, and you fall and plummet off the side of the platform to land in molten material along the edge of the spherical area to your death.....
You approach the old man and listen. He speaks softly, but sternly, of an impending doom approaching the planet. He goes on to explain that this evil force is known throughout the cosmos as the Devourer of Worlds, and ancient and terrible evil bent on consuming the universe and shrouding it forever in darkness. He then divulges that you have been chosen by earth and the natural elements themselves to defend the planet, as you bear a bloodline of old and ancient beings known as shamans. However, he points out, that your blood is thinned down and has been untapped for centuries, and that where once shamans had power over all of nature, you must accept only one element. He then beckons you to each of the 4 smaller attached platforms, and says that you must choose, Fire, Water, Earth, or Air?
[[Fire]]
[[Water]]
[[Earth]]
[[Air]]
You walk up to the old man on the platform of Fire. Now that you are closer, you notice the details of the old man himself. His clothes are blackened with soot, charred at the edges. There is an almost discernable color of his garments original colors, that of a dark rustic red. As you approach him, his eyes open to reveal fiery orbs of fury, and contempt spreads across his features. He then bellows with a sound of barely controlled rage "You have chosen the raw force that is the Flame! Never ending, always devouring, the Flame is something that must always be fed, lest you yourself die out! Bestowed upon you now is the destructive but powerful force of nature that does not create, yet only destroys. A potent power indeed to face the impending doom of this world! Go now, and meet this dreaded force with a force of your own.....The Fury of the Flame!" Immediately you and shot up through the earth to arrive on the planets' surface to a sight terrible to behold.......The earth has been cast in shadow by a malevolent dark cloud that hangs above the planet.
You choose to....
[[Run away in fear]]
[[Get angry]]
You walk up to the old man upon the platform of Water. You begin to notice more details about the man. His clothes, what seemed to once be a beautiful hue of deep sea blue, are completely soaked. His hair is wet and almost covers his face. His eyes open to reveal eyes cast in a myriad of blues, while his features are that of longing and sadness. He then opens his mouth to speak in a faroff tone, as if speaking to someone else, with a hint of an echo ringing in your eyes. "So, the waves of fate have brought you to me, and it is the element of Water you have chosen. When man knows more of the universe than it's own oceans, truly there is something to be said. Deep and encompassing, the element of Water is a multitude of entities, a life-giving element, a calm surface, a swirling maelstrom, or the monstrosity of the tidal wave. It is a force that follows its own flow, and you had best learn not to swim against the current. Begone now, mortal, and pray that you are one to master the tide...." Immediately you are shot up through the crust of the earth to arrive once again on the outside where a dark and menacing force encompasses the earth and blots out the sky. You....
[[Run away in fear]]
[[Close your eyes and feel for the tide]]
You walk up to the old man upon the pillar of Earth. The man is covered in dirt from head to toe, and you can barely make out a tarnished dull yellow upon his garments colors. He looks beaten and weathered, and seemingly appears much older than the rest. As you approach, his eyes begin to open, albeit very slowly. Eventually you see that he has very dull and ancient brown eyes, and he stares out you entirely without compassion. You stand there, for several minutes, waiting for him to speak. Before long, you can't wait any longer and go to speak, but he then cuts you off. In a voice the sound of gravel upon gravel, as if time itself had lost all meaning within this man, he speaks to you. "Child, you have come to inherit the power of Earth, but in the end, it is Earth that will always inherit you. It is the very ground you stand upon, and without it, you would be cast along into the depths of space, with no place to call home. It is that which you come from, and that which you will die upon, to be welcomed back into the bosom of nature. From the mightiest of mountains to the smallest of pebbles, you now wield the power of the stone, if only for a brief time. For earth will always be, somewhere, some place, whereas you will leave in the blink of an eye. Now, begone shaman, and stand steadfast against this evil. Unlike a neverending storm, you can and will weather this assault, because earth always endures". You are then shot up through the earth back to the surface, where a terrible sight greets you. A dark mass blot outs the sky, looking to devour your home planet. You....
[[Run away in fear]]
[[Close your eyes and stand still, for you are the mountain]]
You walk up to the old man upon the platform of Air. You immediately notice that he is not standing, but instead floating. His garments, all white, are flowing to and fro softly upon his body. His hair sways back and forth, as if tossed by breeze that only affects him. He opens his eyes to reveal orbs of shifting grey, never stopping at one shade of color. His facial features turn into a whimsical grin, one that appears uncaring for the previously mentioned doom of the planet. He opens his mouth to speak, with his voice having a ring of harmony to it, playful but never staying upon one single tone. "Welcome mortal, I do hope current events have not soured your mood. You wish to feel the brush of the breeze upon your face? You have chosen the lofty element of Air to take you away into powers that exist only in your dreams. The wind cares not in which direction it blows; only that it is blowing. From the gentle caress through your hair, to the mighty force of a hundred tornadoes ripping apart anything in their paths, and to the bottled power of lightning resting within your hands now, you are now born aloft into heights unknown to save the planet, and remember, keep your chin up! Ahahahahahahahaaa!" You are suddenly shot up back through the hole you came from, to arrive to the planets exterior. Before you placed across the sky is a dark and malevolent force that seems to swallow the world. You....
[[Run away in fear]]
[[Fall backwards, laughing as you do so]]
Within you builds chaotic blood lust and fury. This is your home, your planet, and deep down, on a primal level, something sparks. The flame erupts within your heart, and you stare at the mass in the sky with undistilled hatred. Black tentacles shoot down to grab you, as if the mass itself is now fully away of what you can do. Too late, as you begin lobbing fireballs to sear each tentacle. Your throws are effortless and rapid, as your anger rises. Heat emanates off your body, and your clothes begin to cinder. You are rage now, you are fury incarnate. Everything must burn. Somewhere in the recess of your mind, the old mans words of control are lost, as your excitement from your newfound power and the lust of power take control, and you begin to let loose volleys of flame in vast amounts towards the sky. The mass begins to scream in pain, realizing too late that it faces a primal element that only ends with ashes. It begins to burn and fold in upon itself in the sky. But you are not done. The flame must be fed. You close your eyes for one more moment, condense every single burning moment in your life of anger, and release it all in an expanding ball of fire all around you, screaming. In the end.....The evil is defeated.....and the earth lies scorched in ruin. All life around the globe is turned to ashe, leaving barren wastelands of despair. You realize your flaw too late, that fire is a destructive force and must always be checked, which only serves to increase your anger, and you spend the rest of your days, screaming at the top of your lungs wandering the earth, spitting fire into the distance.......
Regardless of what all has transpired, this is too much. within your mind flight over comes fight, and you begin running away screaming with the rest of the crowd. As you run aimlessly, running into other people trying to flee, the dark mass begins its decent upon the earth, removing light from your vision. In the end, the last things you hear, are the screams of the people, and the shuddering of the earth, as the black mass envelops the world. Through it all, you hear the sound of evil laughter, one that....oddly enough, doesn't belong to the black mass..........
You wait for the swell of the tide within you. You feel it approach in the sense of an approaching tidal wave, and almost immediately you open your eyes and find yourself being lifted into the sky upon a swirling cyclone of water. The evil in the sky produces evil blackened hands to crush you, aware now that someone stands defiantly against it. You begin controlling the cylcone of water, and begin directing geiser blasts from it. Insanely pressured, and heated to a searing degree, you blast the hands with the force of hurricanes. The lingering mass in the sky screams in agony, as you begin to feel the tidal wave of power finally approach. You focus on the mass, and begin directing a wave from seemingly no where. From the earth comes crashing out a titanic wave of apocolyptic proportions, and you force it you pass over you to crash into the black mass. The mass has no defense against such an overwhelming power, and is carried away from the planet, in the direction of the sun. The wave continues, following its intertia to eventually crash the mass into the distant sun, destroying the evil utterly. In your victory you notice that the land around you is flooded, with people trying to find makeshift boats. In the end, you realize that the tide is a powerful force indeed, and lament that it can be both a boon and a cruel mistress. The world will survive, but at what cost?.....
You fall upon a breeze that carries you into the sky. The winds take hold of you, and for a moment you forget all that is transpiring, and merely enjoy the moment of flight. Screams bring you back to the moment, and you realize that you still have a purpose. Everything seems sillier to you, and you cant seem to stop laughing. The evil in the sky spits forth black creatures of its own being and they begin flying towards you. You summon mighty gusts of wind, and blow them harshly down to earth with ease, laughing as you do so. It almost feels like a game. From the entity in the sky, dark claws come forth to tear you to pieces, but once again you summon cyclones and hurricanes to tear them to shreads. You crack your knuckles for the big finale, as you stare at the evil mass with a grin. You close your eyes, and summon dark grey clouds, fat and charged with elemental energy. With a burst of joy, you summon hundreds of thousands of lightning strikes, and the evil mass is lit up with the power at your disposal. As the evil screams in its own death throes, you can't help but be reminded of fireworks in the sky, and wish you had some popcorn to watch the mass die. As it falls back into space, dead and inert, you look back to the ground and notice that you may not have been too precise with your abilities. Cars, homes and other items are completely flipped and blown from their initial places, and stray thunder strikes have left terrible marks upon the landscape. Oh well, you've done humanity a favor, so what if you have to break a few eggs? The sky clears and you go to lay down on a puffy white cloud. Let the people deal with the aftermath, you only show up for the big game now. You begin to remember the "fireworks" again, and start to laugh at the ridiculousness of it all, while you float lazily on a fluffy white cloud in the blue blue sky....
You feel the earth under your feet groan. The screams of people around you no longer concern you, as you begin to summon the power of stone. Black spears begin to rain down from the entity in the sky, with intent to murder you. You meet these spears with boulders ripped out of the ground, and smash them to pieces. The black mass screams from pain. It begins to produce hundreds of blackened bullets toward you, but you produce a wall of earth to absorb them. You then begin forming a stone ball around yourself, with the intent of one clear way of destroying this evil. You begin focusing on a very large object, made of stone and earth itself, and begin pulling it mentally. The explosions and screams you hear are cast from your thoughts, as it is all meaningless in the end. The object begins to approach earth, and with one final tug, you pull it down in a violent yank, and it meets the earth with titanic force. The evil is utterly crushed between both masses, and you begin to pull the smaller mass away and place it from when it came. The stone sphere drops around you, and you can now see clearly what you have done; You pulled the moon from its orbit, and crushed the evil between two celestial bodies. In your act of power however, now lies a giant crater of epic proportions in the land, with massive canyons breaking off from its edges. People are screaming in terror, but it matters not. You begin to descend into the earth, deep down. At some point within the crust of the earth, you choose a spot to rest. Mankind may have lost hundreds of thousands of lives due to your actions, but was ultimately saved, and has gained a new guardian. Besides, all things return to the earth, as they must. You close your eyes to rest, to await the next time you are needed, whenever that may be.....
You begin running across the plane, hoping to find something relatable so that you could try to figure a way out of here. While running madly, you pay little attention to the string of code that slams into you....

You decide to begin yelling for help, hoping that something somewhere can help. Immediately a line of vertical red light appears before you, and speaks, lighting up as it does so. "Software initiated. error. Unidentified entity within existing parameters. Purge must be initiated. Purge file D347hG4/\/\3 initiated, preparing to launch." As soon as it finishes this crazy robotic speech, the polygons in the sky begin to descent and their dimensions begin to change. Their shapes begin to form into familiar looking objects, like weapons. You then realize that these weapons begin heading straight towards you. You decide...

Deep down you remember you took a half of a semester in programming, and remembering that your choices are reflected in binary, you choose a hail mary idea and do the unthinkable......You shout the number 2.

You go to reach the weapons, but they turn on you instead. You try to dodge them, but there are so many, and eventually, you begin to get impaled. As your body floods with pain, you look up into the sky to stare at a digital heart, and a 1 changing to a 0. Before you scatter into hundreds of ditital pieces, a command prompt opens and a hack command is typed quickly that reads "cheat command infinite lives". Immediately you are brought back from death, only to see the weapons approaching you once again, with no chance of escape. You hear evil laughter from all around, and spend the rest of your days dying over and over and over, until your pc eventually burns out....
Your mind becomes completely wiped, and immediately a master program installs parameters and orders within your cerebral cortex, and you spend the rest of your life within a machine cleaning out temporary internet files.....
Your body begins to glow a bright red, and immediately upon doing so, lights begin to flash all around. A large programming voice booms "Virus detected, initializing virus protection scan sweep". Immediately a giant wall of glowing energy appears in the distance, and begins to sweep across the plane. I begins approaching you at a ridiculous speed, and you scream as the wall passes you and you are dissolved into nothingness within the digital realm.....
A scream emanates from somewhere far off, as you are then ripped back up into the sky, and out through your computer again. Your being is reconstructed in your computer chair, and eventually you are whole again. Your computer sputters and dies, as it cannot cope with the concept of 2. You sit in disbelief, and spend the rest of your life trying to explain to people what happened, while no one believes your crazy tale in the digitial realm......
