Spirited Away

Ten-year-old Chihiro and her parents are traveling to their new home. When her father takes a wrong turn, they find an old and closed amusement park. They unknowingly enter a magical world that Chihiro's father insists on exploring. While Chihiro's parents begin to devour the food at an empty restaurant stall, Chihiro finds an exquisite bathhouse and meets a young boy named Haku who warns her to return across the river before sunset. However, Chihiro discovers this too late and her parents have already turned into pigs. She is unable to cross the flooded river. She is trapped in the spirit world. Terrified Chihiro swims so hard to cross the river. The water keeps coming into her mouth and it is getting difficult to breathe. Chihiro gradually loses her consciousness and sinks to the bottom of the river. End

Haku says to Chihiro, who is terrified, “Chihiro, I will help you find your parents. But the witch, Yubaba, who runs the bathhouse, will turn you into an animal if you do not work here. You sould go see the bathhouse’s boiler-man, Kamaji and ask for a job. Can you do that by your self?” [[What can I do in this strange world? I am only 10 years old. I don't think I can.]] [[Ok… I will do whatever you say..]]

When Chihiro visits Kamaji, he asks the worker Lin to send Chihiro to Yubaba, who runs the bathhouse. Yubaba looks so scary and mean like Haku described. Yubaba says "Why do I have to hire someone who is stupid and weak like you? This is a sacred place where 800 gods come to take bath. This is no place for a human!" [[Then please let me meet my parents at least once! If you send us home now, we will never come here again!!]] [[I still want to work here! Hire me!]]

Haku says, "Then you will turn into a pig like your mom and dad did. Do you really want that? Don't you want to save your parents?"

Yubaba continues to threaten Chihiro, but she just keeps shouting out, "Let me work here! Hire me!" "alright...It is our world's principle to give jobs to those who want to work." Yubaba is annoyed and signs a contract with Chihiro. The contract says, 'The only way to go back to the human world is to get blessed from the gods coming to our bathhouse.' [[Next day]]

"Oh, you really want to meet your parents? Alright." Yubaba grins and lifts her chubby, wrikled finger with a dark red fingernail. Then Chihiro's body starts to swell and gradually turns into a piglet. Chihiro is unable to say anything and sent to the pigsty where her parents are. End

The next day, 'stink god' arrives at the bathhouse as Chihiro's first customer.While she is helping him taking a bath, she finds a metal ring sticking out from his body. [[Pull out the metal ring as hard as she can.]] [[Tell this to her co-worker, Lin.]]

When Chihiro pulls out the ring, huge amount of trash connected to the metal comes out one by one.All the co-workers who are watching the scene help her pull them out, and 'stink god' turns out to be a 'god of a polluted river'. The god appreciates and gives a magic dumplig to Chihiro who saved him. [[Immediately run into Yubaba's room.]] [[Immediately sneak into the pigsky holding Haku's hand without Yubaba knowing.]]

Lin advises Chihiro to stop worrying and finish the bath as quickly as possible. Lin also tells Chihiro to kick the 'stink god' out of the bathhouse. Chihiro quickly finishes the bath and tells the 'stink god' as Lin advised. "No matter how many times you take bath, there is no way you can be clean. Please leave and don't come back" [[Next]]

'Stink god' gets so mad and approaches Chihiro with a terrible smell and smoke from his body. As the smoke wraps around Chihiro's body, she blacks out and falls to the floor. When Chihiro wakes up, she has already turned into a pig. End

Chihiro asks Yubaba to let her go since she got blessed from the god as contracted.Yubaba speaks with a dissatisfied look. "Well, ok. I will let you go. However, your parents were not included in the contract. In order to go back with them, you should find your parents in the pigsty filled with other pigs!" Yubaba grabs Chihiro's arm roughly and walks to the pigsty. "Now, tell me which ones are your mom and dad!" [[Chihiro prays to god and takes a bite of the magic dumpling. "These two pigs are my parents!"]] [[Chihiro prays to god and takes a bite of the magic dumpling. "My parents are not there!"]]

Chihiro and Haku try to save her parents with the magic dumpling, but Chihiro cannot recognize them from so many other pigs. [[Chihiro prays to god and takes a bite of the magic dumpling. When Chihiro shouts out, all the pigs pop and change their appearance. It turns out that the Yubaba disguised her employees as pigs to deceive Chihiro. Yubaba chuckles and says, "you cannot go back to where you came from with your parents, because you didn't find them. what are you going to do? Will you leave here without them?" Chihiro cannot leave her parents. She feels frustrated with the fact that she was deceived. As time goes by, Chihiro gradually forgets that she was from the human world and lives a slave-like life here. End

When Chihiro shouts out, all the pigs pop and change their appearance. It turns out that the Yubaba disguised her employees as pigs to deceive Chihiro. Chihiro says goodbye to Haku and turns around. The river that overflowed has dried up again, and she runs toward the entrance where she first came in with her parents. Chihiro's mom and dad have been waiting for her waving. When she sees her parents who don't remember anything, she feels like everything has been a dream. Anyhow, she was happy to wake up from this nightmare. Happy Ending

At this time, Yubaba appeared from the back and yelled. "I was gonna give you a chance to go back to the human world as we made a contract, and you are trying to betray me with Haku? The contract is over. I will never forgive you! EVER!! " Yubaba gets furious and turns both of them into papers and tears them in many pieces with her contract paper. End
