You hear waves crashing outside your window."Land. We're finally here," you think to yourself. You are Edward, a traveling blacksmith with the life long dream of becoming the greatest smith in Easton. You have been on your journey for 4 years, visiting some of the most elegant of cities, as well as some of the worst places immaginable.
As you lay in your bunk you hear footsteps comming from outside your room. You hear a knock and someone call out,"Edward! We're 'ere! Com'on get up!" It's Peter, a 12 year old boy who grew fond of you on your voyage aboard the Valor. Do you [[Tell him you'll be right out and look around the room.]] 0r [[Get up and leave the room.]] You get up from your bunk and gather your things. You notice under your pack there is a letter.
It reads,
"Edward.
You don't know who I am, but I sure know who you are, and I know of your skills. When you reach Sutton, find a place called The Twisted Pheasant.Ask the man with the red beard,"Have you heard the news?" He will tell you more.
Good Luck,
X"
Who is "X", you think to yourself. You fold up the letter, and put it in your pack. As you leave the room, you see Peter run up the stairs to the upper deck. [[You follow him]]
You open the door and see Peter run up the stairs to the upper deck. As you follow him, you hear the birds of the sea singing their songs and the waves of the ocean crashing the cliffside.
You step out onto the deck and smell the always pleasent scent of the ocean, that sweet aroma, with a hint of fish. "Edward! Can we go down to the shop? I really want to see what they have," exclaims Peter. "Sure thing, let's go," you tell him.
As you are about to leave the ship, you remember your pack. You run down to grab it and you leave in a hurry. [[To the Docks]] "Hey Edward!" Says Peter. He's a short boy, only about 1.5 meters tall, with redish, brown hair, and freckles scattered over his face. "I want to see all of the shops. Can we go down and see the gem merchant? I really want to see what he has," he asks.
"Of course, Peter. And after we look at the shops, would you like me to take you to your Uncle's manor?" You tell him.
"I guess. But do you really have to?"
"Yes, Peter. But don't worry, I'll visit you whenever I am in town."
Peter had just recently lost his parents to a storm. They were on a trip to the Red Isles when a storm had destroyed their ship and had taken the lives of everyone on board. The journey to the Red Isles is usually a fairly easy one, never any storms, which was strange to you.
[[To the Docks]] Sutton is known for having immense docks, littered with shops ranging from a small stand selling trinkets and charms, to large stores with stocks of weapons and armor.
"I want to see everything!" Exclaims Peter as he runs around happily. "Hold on there," you tell him," we'll see everything soon enough."
You look in your pack to see how much gold you have.
You have 120 gp
You also have a journal, 5 vials of healing waters,

[[The Twisted Pheasant]] "Welcome to Milush's Fine Gems, I'm Milush, how can I help you today?" Says the tall man behind the counter. "What is the most expensive gem you have?" Asks Peter. "Well, we have this one right here." He says as he pulls out a beautiful white gem that seemed to change colors in the light. "This one is 1000 gold, a mighty fine price for a mighty fine jewel." Peter continues to talk to the man as you walk around looking at the different items around the store.
There are price tags on each item with prices ranging from 2 gold to 500 gold. Peter asks if you can get him a gem. He really likes this one particular gem. It's green but seems to have some sort of aura around its edge. "That's a rare Miracium stone, only 20 in all the land. It is said to bring good fortune and easy travels to it's holder. Original price of 100 gold, but for you, young man, I'll give it to you for 20 gold," Milush says. You look at Peter and he begs you to get it for him.
Do you:
