You have just graduated from college and have been hired by your favorite film company to work as a permanent screenwriter. Your immense talent at film school and your phenomenal reccomendations have made you the hottest commodity in the film world. Although you are a newcomer, everyone respects your abilities. Despite all of this excitement, you are most excited about the fact that your best friend (of the opposite gender) from film school has been hired right along side you!
Are you a [[Male]] or a [[Female]]?
You are off to a great start. You have been working on a film that you are really proud of and you can't wait to submit it and hopefully get it into pre-production. You know that your best friend has been working on something too, and you can't wait to read her script and hopefully see it on the big screen along side yours. However, due to budget cuts, you find out that only one script will be chosen...
What do you do next?
Fight for your own story and hope that it gets chosen? Or do you and your friend combine forces and write a movie together?
[[His Story]]?
[[Combine Forces]]?

Congratulations! Your combined efforts and ideas put your story at the first of the queue for production! Everything you did and created was equal and fair, and both of your names stand side-by-side on the big screen.
Oh wait... When the paycheck comes in, you realize that she was paid less than he was? What is this all about? You both worked equally to create this script. One didn't do more than the other, so why is she getting paid less than he? Perhaps its because she's a woman.
HE WINS.
SHE LOSES.
Congratulations!! You worked hard on your script... hard enough for it to be chosen for production! You feel bad for your friend, but you figure she will get her shot next time. All's fair in filmmaking!
YOU WIN!
Unfortunately... his script was chosen over yours. You are dissapointed, but you are proud of your friend and know that yours will be picked next time.
However, yours isn't picked next time. Or the next.
When it is picked, your film doesn't get as high of a budget as his have been getting, so your film can't be made to showcase its full potential.
YOU LOSE.
