You wake up in your tiny L.A. apartment after a long night of nightmares where you're living amongst the homeless community residing beneath the 110 freeway, hungry and cold. Tired from lack of sleep, you lay in bed and begin to sulk as you think about the events of this past week..
On Monday your job fired you, your fiancé moved out the next day realizing you would never change your ways, the loan shark paid you an unsuspected visit on Wednesday to hound you about the money you owe on the loans you used to pay your student loans. On top of all of that, rent is due on Friday and your cell phone bill is due on Saturday. Nobody will lend you money anymore, not even your family who disowned you years ago. You decide to get up and do something before you begin to feel any worse..

You don’t have to worry about an internet bill cause your neighbor lets you mooch off his wifi as long as you take his dog out for a walk 3 times a week. You remember him suggesting for you to become a professional dog walker, there's tons of those on craigslist. You figure people are always listing jobs on that site, it couldn't hurt to look for some kind of way to make some fast cash. You reluctantly scroll through countless job listings; pool cleaner, dishwasher, jobs you don’t qualify for, & jobs that don't pay enough money. Feeling even more despair than when you woke up, you decide to find another way of job searching until at the last moment, something catches your [[EYE]]

When you see the gun and bullets you begin to worry that you might actually have to use them.
You try and piece together how all of these relate to each other while you put on the beige jumper and I.D. badge.
You drive to the front entrance of the studio which takes 5 minutes. You empty the backpack, lock the car, and [[walk to to security]].
They check your badge and backpack.
The guard looks at you with a puzzled look when he sees nothing in there but lets you through anyways.
You quickly find a building that says MAINTENANCE on it. You use your badge to enter and are relieved when you see nobody in there. You start searching through the room and see a row of boxes labeled “GAS MASKS”. You rip it open and start stuffing them in your backpack. You only fit about 7 in there but figure that’s okay.
You exit the building and search for another way out of here. You see a huge ladder resting against one of the walls. You rush to it and secure it in place. You begin to climb it and somebody notices you.
They shout “Hey! You! Get down from there immediately!”
You climb faster and see that it’s a huge jump onto an asphalt parking lot but see a car that you may be able to jump on top of.

You look at all the money you’ve earned so far; just about to $50,000. You’ve made it all this way and can still make more. With just a little bit more you’d have money leftover from playing ALL your bills, you can finally buy a new T.V., eat at your favorite thai restaurant that you miss so much, buy a whole new wardrobe. Greed wins this one and you decide to drive to [[City Hall]].
The building is enormous, and surprisingly the doors are still open. A security gaurd greets you and you rush to take out your badge. You hope to God that he doesn’t check your backpack; the box and the gun is in there. The security guard scans it without even looking up from his iPhone.
You walk to the directory and look for Feuer; his office is on the 6th floor. You take the elevator up to the 6th floor and walk by a couple of offices finally to see one that says his name.
[[You open the door]]
Mike looks up from his desk and looks surprised.
“Who are you?” he asks.
“I’m nobody, but you need to come with me right away” you say.
He laughs and says “I’m sorry nobody, but I have a lot of work to do.”
You hold out the box to him.
“A gift” you say. “Not from me, I’m just the deliverer.”
He looks at you with a puzzled glare. He takes the box and begins to slide the bow off of it. When he opens it and looks inside he screams.
You look over into the box and see a finger with a wedding ring on it. You realize it’s the woman from the Ritz.
“What have you done with my wife?” he yells.
“Nothing!” you scream. “I don’t know anything!”
He comes to punch you and you pull your gun on him.
“I really need you to come with me” you say.
He begins to cry and tells you through muffled language “Fine. I will come, but I need to get to my wife. This is her finger, her wedding ring. She’s supposed to be watching our children.”
You feel the most anxiety you’ve ever felt in your life. You’re drenched in sweat and you quickly decide what your next move is.

He cries and begs you to give him the room key which you still have on you. You decide no amount of money is worth the life of someone. You give him everything you have, gun included.
You both exit the building and are suddenly stopped by a man in all black wearing a mask. He uses a taser gun on Feuer. You run away and suddenly feel a sharp pain in your back. You fall to the floor and feel your heart start to beat slower and slower. You close your eyes and let the darkness consume you.
“Fine. I’ll take you to your wife, just hurry there’s not much time left” you say.He grabs his coat and you both quickly get to the elevator and run to your car.

You delete the app and leave Feuer on the front steps of City Hall. You feel like you finally did a good thing, fuck the money. No murder is worth it.
You walk back to your car and just as you’re about to open the door suddenly feel a sharp pain in your back. You fall to the floor and feel your heart start to beat slower and slower. You see a man in a mask hover over you. You close your eyes and let the darkness consume you.
You take the blind fold off of him and begin to tell him about the events of the day.
How you found this job on craigslist, the app, the crypt, the protest, and everything you saw at the Ritz. You tell him about your financial burdens and why you even took this job in the first place.
“You don’t have to this” he cries.
“I can give you all the money you want, more than you’ve made so far on this horrible job. I can give you anything, money, a car, a new life, anything.”
“How much money?” you ask
“$500,000” Feuer says with a sigh
Wow that’s more than you’d make with all the jobs combined.
[[Save him]]
[[Take him to the bridge]]
You grab your gun and hit him over the head again. You sit in peace and quiet as you [[Take him to the bridge]]
You decide that saving him is the only good way out of this godforsaken mess.
You say to him “Okay. I’ll let you go. But I need a new life. And I really don’t know who is after you, we can’t trust anybody.”
He nods and says “You can trust me. Grab my phone out of my pocket and call the name KEVIN.”
You throw your phone into the water and call Kevin off of [[Feuer's phone]]
You decide he's just lying to get what he wants, so you hit him over the head with your gun again.
You get to the bridge and drag Feuer our of the car.
You tell him “Sorry” but he’s still passed out cold.
You take a deep breath and use all your might to push him over.
You see his eyes open in horror right before he hits the water. You cry for a couple of minutes as you realize the extent what you just did.
You pull up the app with tears in your eyes and click on the button [[I’m done for today]].
Feuer tells the man on the phone what you need. After 10 minutes two cars pull up to you and Feuer.
“One for me and one for you" as he points to the cars.
"Here is a new identity, a passport, a plane ticket, and the $50,000 I promised you. Thank you. Goodbye. I need to get to my wife.” says Feuer as he gets into his car.
You watch him drive away and suddenly feel that someone is watching you. You quickly get into your car with your new life anddrive as fast as you can out of the city.
You don’t know where you’re headed now but none of that really matters anyways, you have what you really wanted all along; a new life. You drive into the darkness and never look back.
**BING**
You look at your account and see that you have $200,000 in your account. More money than you could ever have imagined making off this job you found of craigslist. But just enough to pay off every debt you’ve ever had. You turn your phone off and begin to walk back to your car.
On the drive home you notice that the heavy weight of debt has finally lifted off of your chest but you feel a new sensation that feels heavier than anything you’ve ever experienced.
You sit and think of the word and finally it comes to you; guilt. You feel guilty for everything you’ve done today, most of all for killing Feuer. He didn’t deserve it and no amount of money could now take away this new burden of guilt. You lay in bed and try to sleep but all you see is Feuer’s face of horror as he fell into the ocean. You realize now that for the rest of your life you’ll be having a whole new set of nightmares, reliving the day you risked it all to pay your bills.
