As soon as you are within the light of the bleachers, the coach of the football team asks you who you are and what you are doing. You almost don't have the energy to deal with this again.\n\n*[[Say you are here for a friend.]]\n*[[Run.]]
You escape as fast as you can from the situation and decide that it would be for the best if you just head home. Your parents lecture you upon your return.
Nearly all the shops have closed for the day, save the ones with nightly venues. Mostly adults still dot the streets, this is no place for you at the moment. By now you have lost the trail of the star for far too long, and you are feeling rather foolish.\n\n*[[Give up and head home.]]
It is a metal fence, you do go to a private school after all. You're not particularly athletic, but the fence is about 5 feet tall and there's no spikes on the top. \n\n*[[Jump]]\n*[[Look somewhere else.]]
This is bordering on one of the worst ideas you've ever had, and your eyes are getting a bit too blinded by some fantasy hope for a wish. You head back before your parents yell at you.
You decide that this has all just melted into a terrible series of decisions, and apologize to your worried parents when you come home.
You stand alone in your [[bedroom]]. The [[window]] is open, letting a cold draft nip at you. Outside, billions of [[stars]] glisten.
Chatising yourself for being a horrible child, you head back into your house, using the house key you had in your pocket. After a few minutes, you turn off all the lights and [[head back outside]].
He gives you a look of pure death because you are standing in front of an educational building and tells you to leave before he takes any further action on your little prank.\n\n*[[Run.]]
A typical setting. Various possessions of yours are scattered in a disarrayed fashion. This is nothing new for you, so you decide to move on.
Light filters out of your estate from several of the windows. It appears as if you have forgotten to turn off the lights before leaving.\n* [[Head back and turn off lights.]]\n* [[Keep running regardless.]]
You continue your run, eventually making it to the [[park]].
After a surprisingly short amount of searching, you discover that there is indeed an open gate. Seems that there may be some students or staff on campus. The star is shining over the main school building, though you can't expect the building to be open as well.\n\n*[[Check anyways.]]\n*[[It's not too late to turn back.]]
You absolutely just bail from the situation, running home before your parents can have any reason to yell at you and forget the entirety of the foolish events that transpired.
With a bit of a running start, you attempt to clear the fence. It miraculously does not work.\n\n*[[Look somewhere else.]]
She asks the playera if they know you and they shrug.\n\n*[[Flee.]]
You walk up to a random locker that you know belongs to one of your friends and pretend to be confused when your locker refuses to accept your code. The security man goes through the trouble of opening the lock for you, you guiltily take out one of your buddy's books, thank him, and leave.\n\n*[[Ask him if maybe you can go to the top of the building for a while.]]\n*[[Just go home.]]
Throwing on a [[jacket]] with much haste, you pursue the shooting star. You bolt out the [[front door]] of your [[home]], your breath full of estatic energy and excitement. [[The shooting star]] flies above you.
Your gym has an glass ceiling, but you doubt it is open.\n\n*[[Try anyways.]]\n*[[Tennis courts]]
Overhead, you can see a faint trail leading off towards your [[school]].
You nervously back out of the situation and fess up that you are a bit clueless at the moment because the notebook was actually at a friends' house. You then run home, full of embarassment and are left to deal with your concerned parents, of whom were wondering where you went.
It smells of "Eu de 100 teenagers' body odor." with a hint of Axe. You were kidding.
He makes a sigh and tells you to head over to a gate that's been open the entire time, and motions over to the football field, before returning to his own devices.\n\n*[[Head to bleachers.]]\n*[[Head to locker room.]]
Made of sturdy glass and wood, it is slightly ajar, the blinds of it are lazily pulled up in an unorderly manner. The curtains are sun-worn and frayyed.
You give up, deciding that it is impossible to continue the chase. You can't help but feel mildly disappointed, but your life continues on normally.
You continue your run, eventually making it to the [[park]].
They twinkle with an almost supernatural glow. Out of the corner of your eye, you almost swear you just saw [[one with a streak]].
After a surprisingly short amount of searching, you discover that there is indeed an open gate. Seems that there may be some students or staff on campus. The star is shining over the main school building, though you can't expect the building to be open as well.\n\n*[[Check anyways.]]\n*[[Walk to courtyard.]]\n*[[It's not too late to turn back.]]
You about almost unhindged the thing when you raced out of it just second prior. It manages to close behind you with a rather loud slamming sound.\n
You decide that the fence is a bad idea and ponder your other options. The chill of the night is starting to nip at you a bit, and entering school at this hour is pushing it a bit.\n\n*[[Maybe there's an open gate?]]\n*[[Shout out past fence and hope for best.]]\n*[[Give up and head home.]]
stars are for nerds
The [[homes]] are too tall for you to properly view the direction of the star. \n\n* [[Try the park.]]\n* [[Try the downtown.]]\n* [[Give up search.]]
You decide that this has all just been a little bit of a childish wonder and head back home before you worry your parents.
You are not too sure which direction the shooting star was in any longer.\n\n* [[Run towards other homes.]]\n* [[Run towards park.]]\n* [[Give up search.]]
You are almost certain it is a shooting star! It darts past your vision in a blink of an eye. What do you choose to do?\n* [[Engage.]]\n* [[Leave it alone.]]
The wind brushes harshly against the trees and the lamp posts give off a cold glow into the night. The star is nowhere in sight, and you are starting to think this entire thing is a bit silly.\n\n* [[Try the downtown now.]]\n* [[Give up and head home.]]
With a bit of a running start, you attempt to clear the fence. It miraculously does not work.\n\n*[[Look somewhere else.]]
Full of embarassment, you are left to deal with your concerned parents, of whom were wondering where you went. The rest of the night is spent listening to them lecture to you.
It opens with ease, and you are welcomed with a very [[pleasant stench]]. You are not really sure why you went here, but you get somewhere else quickly if you want to catch the dang star. \n\n*[[Gym]]\n*[[Tennis courts]]
He asks you why and you mutter something about astronomy class photos and it won't take very long. After some hesitation he tells you that there is always someone in the world who will love you and then gives you about 10 minutes. \n\n*[[Smile and proceed to roof.]]
Overhead, you can see a faint trail leading off towards your [[school]].
You walk mostly aimlessly towards the courtyard. Well that was pointless. Before you can proceed any further, a [[voice]] from behind barks at you.
He makes you use a breathalizer and a few other proceedures to ensure you aren't under the influence of anything, and then lectures you about your stupid little prank and sends you home with a warning.\n\n*[[Just go home.]]
She says that everyone is here today.\n\n*[[Flee.]]
The cage gates are closed, but there is a clear view off the brilliant night sky and the [[luminous star]] that adorns it from where you are standing.
The voice that presumably belongs to a man falls silent and then tells you to come over to a gate. He asks you where your [[locker]] is and says he'll accompany you to your locker and you may take what you need and leave.
You decide that it is not worth your time to investigate because you are most likely wrong anyways. \nYour life continues as normal, as if nothing had ever happened.
Very alike in architecture, they were most likely built around the same time. Your schoolmates are probably inside them right now, off to their own devices. One of these homes is yours, in fact.
Your high school is a gated place. You are unsure if you want to try and hop over a [[fence]] and possibly get a felony for a stupid reason like a shooting star. \n\n*[[You've come this far.]]\n*[[Maybe you can look for any opening?]]\n*[[Give up and head home.]]
In front of you stands a man who is presumably a security person. He asks you what in the world you are up to.\n\n*[[Say you need your notebook from school.]]\n*[[Say that you are here for sports practice.]]\n*[[Say you just need to get in.]]\n*[[Run.]]\n
The night sky above you appears almost like an endless ebony sea and you can't help but smile and admire the [[luminous star]] that you have finally caught up to.
The door doesn't open for rather obvious reason. Before you can proceed any further, a [[voice]] barks at you.
With some hesitation you point to the actual building your locker is in, fish out a random book from it, thank him, and leave. \n\n*[[Ask him if maybe you can go to the top of the building for a while.]]\n*[[Just go home.]]
Your coat is rather thin, but enough to protect you from the stiff nighttime winds.
Wow. The door is locked. This is starting to be an all-around terrible experience for you. You contemplate leaving.\n\n*[[Give up and head home]]
Oh no. Your locker isn't even in this building. \n\n*[[Proceed awkwardly.]]\n*[[Stumble around and say that you mean another building.]]\n*[[Apologize for wasting his time and awkwardly talk way out.]]
She asks you who.\n\n*[[Point to a random person]]\n*[[Say sorry because you realize they are not here.]]
Some old timers and idividuals are still hustle and bustling about, but most of the shops are beginning to close for the day and go home. A faint trail of the star can be seen overhead, leading to your [[school]].
An adult voice answers back in an agressive tone, asking you what you are doing.\n\n*[[Say you need your notebook from school]]\n*[[Say that you are here for sports practice]]\n*[[Say you just need to get in.]]\n*[[Run.]]\n
He asks you where your [[locker]] is and says he'll accompany you to your locker and you may take what you need and leave.
