There is the occassional man sized beast that excell at ambushing unwary soldiers but for the most part this is a safe place for an armed human. Many of the dragons carry individual pieces of ancient treasures from a civilization long dead when the first human learned the secret of fire.

The doors are magnificent. Even the Great Red Dragon would have looked small if placed before them. Their body seems to be titanium and they are inset with a million jewels ranging in size from a grape to a boulder. The first brave paladin touches the handles tentatively and jumps back as the doors swing inwards revealing mountains of gold behind. She looks back to you and you nod for her to cross the threshold. She walks into the room slowly but no harm befalls her. You smile as you follow after her to inspect this most awesome of prizes.
