It's cold. You awake on the jagged floor poking into your back. The back of your head throbs as you raise yourself from the floor. The frigid air surrounds your body. A dim light shines in the corner of the room, dying a small portion of it in an amber glow. Where you are is a mystery, but you can deduce from the environment that you appear to be in a cave.

Upon swinging the lantern around to investigate the cave, you notice that the cave is riddled with stalagmites and stalactites. Around the rugged cavern floor are tiny splotches red dotted path, guiding you. You [[press forward]] as your limited vision guides you.

Subject 008 is suffering from rigor mortis, her regenerative capabilities from regrowth of limbs to cuts varies from subject 008’s mood. Subject 008 appears to feel no pain at times and immense pain during other times. Does not need sustenance, food left within chamber has not been touched since.

No movements since the past 2 hours. All functions have ceased within the body, aside from spasms. No known changes. Others are to take note of procedures taken as to avoid repetition. Subject 008 presumed dead. Take precaution in disposal of subject.
New changes have been noted, subject 008 is live. Subject 008 can communicate however other body parts have either ceased function or have drastically slowed in speed. Upon disposal of subject 008, they had awoken although deemed deceased, further changes will be noted.
[[Beginning<-Back]]The brass lantern is heavy. You feel as if you could watch the flames dance forever. Lantern acquired.
[[Beginning<-Back]]Moving forward, your shoes splash in the puddles while the unusually quiet cave reverberate your sounds back at you. The light from your lantern shines upon the walls. Lots of limestone, it reeks. The trail of red stops. You watch as an entrance to another room reveals itself from the dark. It's as if whoever created the trail wanted you to come here...
Entering the room, you approach a bridge, below it is the abyss staring into you. You try to look at what's past the bridge but to no avail.

The rope keeping you afloat over the abyss snaps.
Swallowed by the darkness, never to be seen again.

The hallway extends into a foggy area. The walls are slathered with imagery this time, vibrant colors depicting a child and its mother. As the images move closer to the floor, it changes to a darker gradient of sorts. An image of a hand. A figure looms ahead.

You come across another room, entering it you see a pedestal, made out of stone. Approaching it, you see there is a square indentation made in the center of the top of the pedestal. Indenting its body are four other similar holes of various shapes. A triangle, circle, hexagon, and a pentagon. On a wooden table behind the pedestal are shapes that resemble the indents on the pedestal. Each shape is labelled with an odd line of characters.

The room fills with noxious gas, upon inhaling, your lungs feel immense pain as they tighten and asphyxiate you from within. Your vision disappears completely as your eyes fill with water. You wheeze violently and gasp for air but to no avail, you fall flat on the floor, lifeless.

Brushing your hand against the wall, you can feel every groove in the cavern wall, every detail. It's cold, dry, but to be expected, rugged and sharp. You've retracted your hand and you're amazed as your hand is still clean. You rub your fingers together and put them to your sides.
You approach a female figure standing at the end of the path. She stares back at you. Her eyes are a dark green. Your eyes quickly scan over her. She's wearing a rather dirty and tattered hospital gown. She stands upright with her head tilted to the side as if in a constant state of confused. Her hair is mangled and has split ends all around.
