After hours of riding, you and your steed arrive at the Grand Mayor's Castle at the center of the Inner District only to find that it has been abandoned. All of your commrades struggle to survive a losing battle at the front gates of the city, praying that you will reach the castle to request reinforcements from the Grand Mayor before it is too late. But it is too late now.\n\nThe Grand Mayor has taken the remaining battalions of knights and fled the city. There are no longer any reinforcements to request. None of the citizens of the city know about the attack yet. If you ask for their help defending the city from hordes of undead, they'll probably assume you're mad. You ride with great haste back towards the front gates at the edge of the Outer District.\n\nWhile on your way through the Middle District, you stop to consider your options. Perhaps you too should attempt to flee the city. There is no way you and your battalion could hope to push back the undead at the front gates. They easily outnumber you 20 to 1. But how can you turn your back on battalion?
