Cinderella
Fern's Furnaces began in 1852 as a plucky young upstart business that worked its way into the upper crust of London society when the new Fancy Pants Furnace was put on the market. No mansion was complete without one of Fern's Fancy Pants, and the next year, when the Fancier Pantsier Furnace came out on [[Black Friday|Black Friday]], it was a mad house. \n\nFern's Furnaces may seem like a happy work environment if the smiling workers on the ads are anything to go by, but in reality it's a harsh cruel environment. Why, just last week Joanne lost an arm in the Fancy Pants Clamp and Stamp.
There lived a girl named [[Ella|Ella]]...
Cinderella began to take pride in her job and resent the factory managers who wouldn't let her take creative liberties in her furnace making. \n\nShe especially despised [[Fern|Fern]]. \n\nShe started talking to other workers and they felt the same way. \n\nTalk began brewing about [[overthrowing|overthrowing]] the company.
When Fern demanded that everyone work on a Saturday, talks broke down and Cinderella took a Fanciest Pants Furnace and threw it out the window. \n\nAfraid to let even one furnace not be sold, Fern jumped out the window with it, and plumetted into the [[River Thames|River Thames]]. \n\nCinderella walked into her office and put on Fern's Stovetop Hat and began to rule the Furnace Factory with a kind but stern hand. \n\nThe end.
Fern Ferdinand was a bright young thing when she began her business in 1830, but time (and probably factory fumes) have turned her into a hardened miser. I heard she doesn't even like cats.
Once upon a [[time|time]]....
Fern's Furnace sunk to the bottom of the river, so Fern cut her losses and swam and swam and swam until she ended up in France. She saw her opportunity to create an even better France Fancy Pants Furnace and stayed there the rest of her days. She even got a cat.

Who worked in a [[furnace factory|furnace factory]] and was constantly covered in cinders. It was when the other workers started calling her Cinderella that things [[changed|changed]]...
They call it Black Friday, because that was the one day when everyone took a break from pretending to feel sorry about the black plague and went shopping instead.
