Ethan's car pulls up onto the shoulder of the street and comes to a full stop. The headlights go off as the engine goes quiet. Ethan gets out of the car and looks down the hill to the Immotech facility below. The plain brick building with a simple white letter I with sand passing through it like an hourglass in front with, the Immotech logo.
A winding driveway goes down the hill leading up to the gates. Several guards patrol the facility. At first glance it looks to be about five or six.
Ethan goes to the back and gets his mediation blanket and backpack then climbs down the hill until he's safely in the trees. He lays the blanket down and begins to open his mind.
[[Channel Nathan]]
[[Channel Roxy]] Ethan clears his mind. Pushing all thoughts out and breaths deep as a single thought eminates from his consciousness: Nathan.
Within seconds Ethan felt his mind tingling as he heard Nathan clearing his throat.
"Check check. You read me, Ethan?" the spirit said.
"Ha, of course I do, Nathan. You're inside my head not on Skype." said Ethan.
"Fair enough. Grab my kit and tell me what the plan is."
[[Look out at the facility, Nathan]] Ethan clears his mind. Pushing all thoughts out and breaths deep as a single thought eminates from his consciousness: Roxy.
Ethan sits for a moment and feels nothing. The silence is deafening in the woods at night as he sits, waiting.
"You ready?" Roxy's rang out in Ethan's head, surprising him and knocking him on his ass. He forgot that Roxy had the smoothest transition of the spirits he had encountered.
"Gah! You startled me!" Ethan said, standing up and brushing off his backside.
"Ha, I could tell! So what's our plan of action, chief?" Roxy said, excitedly.
[[Look out at the facility, Roxy]] "Why don't you tell me? See anything useful?" Ethan says to Nathan.
There was a slow silence. Ethan relaxes for a moment and feels Nathan take control of his eyes, looking things over, focusing on things that Ethan normally wouldn't even glance at.
"Oh, that's nice." Nathan said. "So good news, bad news. The bad news is that they've got a high end satellite relay. There may not be any reception out here but that antenna on the side of the build will more than make up for it. The good news is that the main power box for it is on the outside of the building. We cut that off and their communications go dead silent."
"I'm a fan of that. How are we going to get in there?"
Two guards patrol on the left side of the facility where the trees grew thicker, the fence cutting through them. On the right is one guard but the area by the fence has much more clearing and visibility.
[[Let's head Left]]
[[Let's head Right]] Ethan makes his way down the hill, cutting to the left side of the facility moving carefully as to not alert the two guards who are in the middle of a conversation. As you make your way through the woods on the left side you head towards the corner where the trees are thickest. You croutch down near a tree close to the fence.
"OK, open the kit up really quick." Nathan said.
Ethan opens his backpack and produces Nathan's sleek little kit.
"Should be a pair of tin snips in there. Cut the fence from the ground up about three feet at the corner. This way the hole isn't visible."
Ethan carefully cuts the metal, making sure to grip with two hands to assure he doesn't clack the snips or make other noises. Eventually, the cutting done, he puts the snips and kit back and squeezes through the opening then stands up right, hiding behind a nearby tree.
[[Get to the antenna]] Ethan heads through the woods to the right, carefully sneaking across the driveway along the right side of the facility at the edge of the clearing. There's only one guard but he seems to be actively patroling and looking out at the fence.
"I don't really like the looks of this, Ethan." a nervous Nathan chimes in. "But if we're going to do this you're going to need to snag my kit. We're going to somehow have to cut a hole in the fence without him noticing. You absolutely sure you want to try this? We can still try the other way."
[[Get out the kit]]
[[Let's try the other side]] Ethan kneels down and slides off his backpack, opening it and pulling out Nathan's toolkit as Ethan hears Nathan sigh in annoyance.
"Something you want to say Nate?" Ethan whispers.
Nathan said nothing as Ethan produced a pair of tin snips and then put the kit back in the bag and the bag back on his back. He waits for the guard to turn and hurries over to the corner of the fence. He moves quickly and cuts through one of the links of the fence, then a second. He can feel Nathan's nervousness rush through him like a drug and his hand slips as he tries to rapidly cut through the next piece. The snips slip from his hand and the sound alerts the guard.
"Intruder!" the guard yells. "Hands in the air!"
Ethan runs.
"What are you doing?" Nathan screams into Ethan's head. "You want to get us killed?"
The trees whip past as Ethan runs through the woods, the occasional branch smacking him in the face as he runs through the dark, the only light coming from the gunlight on the guard behind him. When he makes his way to the car he runs to it only to find two guards standing at the car.
"Hands in the air!" the guards yell.
As Ethan raises his hands, the butt of the gun owned by the officer that was giving chase comes down hard on the back of Ethan's head as he blacks out and collapses in the dirt.
GAME OVER."Yeah, I'm not really liking our chances over here. Let's sneak over to the other side." Ethan whispered to himself.
"Oh thank god," Nathan said as Ethan felt a wave of someone else's release pass through him like ecstacy. "I had, literally, zero faith in this."
Ethan laughs quietly to himself.
On the other side, the two guards there are deep in conversation. Taking the tin snips out of the kit in his bag, Ethan cuts up the fence near the corner and sneaks in, hiding behind a nearby tree.
[[Get to the antenna]] Ethan peeks around the corner carefully, waiting for a good opportunity. He can feel Nathan's anxiety rise.
"Calm down there, Nathan. We're going to get through this." Ethan whispered.
"We're not out of the woods yet, Ethan." Nathan responded.
Ethan smirked, "So help me if that's a pun because I'm behind a tree..."
The guards both looked towards the front of the building and Ethan used that opportunity to run out and behind the facility hiding behind the corner near the antenna which was on the left side of the building.
"Get out my kit." Ethan said quickly.
Ethan slides the backpack off and produces the kit. As Ethan opens the kit and looked at all the various tools he felt Nathan control his eyes a little, fixing on a thing that looked like a one inch tube with little capsules on the outside.
"That. I need that. Take it and snap it to the power cable like a cast."
Ethan looked around the corner and waited till the coast was clear. Then reaching around the corner he snapped the cast on the power cable about two feet above the power box. It shut with a satisfying snap and small tendrils of smoke arose from the cast.
"What just happened?" Ethan asks.
"That device clamps around cables and pipes and administers acid that dissolves and ruins, essentially cuts, the cables. From the outside you don't see a break, just a thing that looks like it belongs on the cable." Nathan explains. "Long story short, power to the antenna is cut now."
Ethan stayed behind the building and slides over to a back door located next to a wooden door and an outdoor cigarette disposal can.
"God bless those with a vice." Nathan said as Ethan opened up the door to the empty hallway before them.
[[Enter the building]] As Ethan stands, his eyes twitch a bit as Roxy takes over control of them. She looks out over the facility. Taking the two guards to the left of the facility. The one to the right. The one in the guard post outside the gate.
"Well, if you want my advice we only got one guard on the right so it's better odds. But I'm torn because the cover sucks and the two guards on the left look like they're gossiping up a storm. We could try going that way but if we're caught I don't know how well we'll do against two armed men." Roxy said.
Roxy gives control of the eyes back to Ethan. "Well chief? Whatcha think?"
[[Let's take the single guard]]
[[Let's try the two guards]] "I think we can get past those two guards. They look pretty distracted." Ethan thought.
You sprint left, cutting through the woods with Roxy's freerunning skill causing you to dodge and weave your way like a leopard through the woods. As you get to the fence you find a spot with heavy tree cover and climb over it rapidly without making a sound.
Unfortunately, a branch from one of the trees was stuck in the fence and snapped off from the fence shaking causing a loud noise. The guards, hearing the noise, come running over.
Ethan dodges as one of the guards swings as him, ducking low and coming back up driving an elbow into the guards face, knocking him out cold. He turns on the other guard.
"Freeze!" the guard yells as he raises his assault rifle, taking Ethan in his sights.
GAME OVER
---
Go back to the start
[[Prodigal Son]]"I think you're right about not being able to take out two guards. Let's head to the right, Roxy." Ethan thought.
You run to the right, enjoying how having Roxy in your head makes you so nimble as you tear quietly through the forest, leaping logs and ducking branches as you make your way to the right. When you get there, you find a bit of a clearing between you and the fence.
You wait till the guard gets close enough to the fence and as you do, Roxy's skill in freerunning draws a path in your head, letting you know when to go.
"Ready chief?" Roxy says, excitedly.
[[Ready]] The guard gets close to the fence, looking out at the clearing for a moment before turning his back. Immediately Ethan sprints for the fence and, in two steps, scales the fence, leaping over the top and grabbing the guard by the head, slams the unaware man into the ground, knocking him out cold.
"Whoa! Good work!" Ethan hears Roxy cheering in his head.
Ethan takes the guard by the shoulders and drags him off behind the building. On the way, you feel Roxy's attention go to an air condition unit up against the side of the facility.
Placing the guard down you look at the side of the building. You take in the AC unit for a second, looking at the pipes leading up the building and with barely a thought you hop up the AC unit and scale the pipes to the roof of the facility.
[[Examine the roof]] Looking around the roof Ethan sees that there's not much there. Some antenna on the other side of the build. Sloppy tar work that didn't look completed. And a singular exhaust fan, currently off.
Peering through the fan, Ethan finds himself looking down at the top of a Immortech truck.
"Looks like the garage." Roxy whispers. "We can probably drop right down onto that truck.
Ethan prys the casing off the fan. The opening is just about a foot wider than he is. Looking down, through the fan he sees the coast is clear and he drops down, rolling once, the length of the truck, to stay silent.
Dropping down, off the truck, Ethan scanned the room. Peering at all the shelves holding various things and the door that leads into the Immortech offices.
[[Head into the offices]]
[[Examine the shelves]] Ethan looks over the shelves. His eyes glance over various tools and miscellany. Occasionally his eyes met with resistance as he realized Roxy was looking them over too.
"Why would anyone need this many spanners? Isn't the point of a spanner to not need a bunch of tools?" Roxy monologued to herself.
As Ethan looks over the other shelves he noticed one seemed out of place. It was the only one that looked organized as it was filled with non-descript, unlabeled boxes of the same size. Even the floor itself seemed to have a rubber mat on it as if to protect it.
"Well that strikes me queer" Roxy said, mirroring your concerns.
[[Look over the shelves]] Ethan walks into the offices where he's immediately greated by a startled receptionist that wasn't visible from the window of the door.
"Excuse me, what were you doing in there? Can I see your ID?" the receptionist said as she rose to her feet, leaning over slightly keeping on hand under the desk.
"I, uh..." Ethan moves to strike but finds himself resisting.
"We can't hit her, she's just a receptionist!" Roxy scolds in your brain.
In that moment of hesitation her hand under the desk hits a button and a loud claxon blares through the facility as the lobby becomes filled with armed guards.
GAME OVER
---
Go back to the start
[[Prodigal Son]]Ethan walks over to the odd shelf.
"Roxy, what do you think they keep here?" Ethan thinks.
"Not sure, chief. But it seems mighty special."
Ethan grabs a box and was startled by how light it was. He opens it and finds it is completely empty.
"Oh no THAT is weird." Ethan says out loud.
He moves across the shelf, tapping the boxes and feeling each to be empty. As he moves he stepped on the mat and heard a metal clank.
"Curiouser and curiouser" Roxy said in his head as he felt every inch of her curiousity clawing for the mat on the floor.
[[Look over the mat]] Ethan kneels down and attempts to peel the mat up. It comes right up but not as he expected. Instead of peeling it lifts like a flat panel. Hinge joints hiding under the shelf lift the mat up like a trap door.
"Oh my god, they really have a trap door." Ethan chuckls to himself. "That's like, Super Villainy 101."
Under the door, a ladder extends about 40 feet to a white tiled floor.
"I'm telling you right now, chief. I'm going to be powerful angry if we don't check this out." Roxy says as he fells her excited smirk.
[[Head down the ladder]] With Roxy practically shoving him down the ladder, Ethan makes his way down the ladder. As he comes out of the ladder tunnel he drops down lightly and quickly looks around to make sure no one's there.
The coast clear he takes in the setting. Ethan's at the end of a long white hallway. At the end of the hallway are three doors.
Upon further examination he sees the one in the middle is marked "Laboratory" and is locked via key card panel.
"I have a feeling that's where we're going to need to go." Ethan whispers to himself and Roxy.
The other two doors were marked "Locker Room" (on the left) and "Cafeteria" (on the right). From the cafeteria a muffled conversation can be heard between two people about some sort of robots in space.
"How far has technology gotten?" Roxy asked, shocked.
"Actually, I think they're talking about Voltron. It was a cartoon." Ethan chuckled.
[[Enter the Locker Room]]
[[Knock on the Lab Door]]
[[Enter the Cafeteria]]
As Ethan walks into the locker room he sees the expected. Lockers lined the walls, a janitor's closet was on the back right and a series of toilets were in the back left, including a bunch of urinals which Ethan's eyes oddly locked on.
"You boys and your special toilets" Roxy chuckles.
"Focus, Roxy" Ethan thought.
[[Search the lockers]]
[[Search Janitor's Closet]] Ethan leans in to knock on the lab door.
"Absolutely not, you maniac!" Roxy screams into your head, almost pushing you back with the volume.
[[Enter the Locker Room]]
[[Enter the Cafeteria]] Ethan enters the cafeteria and the door swings silently enough where the scientists aren't alerted to your presence.
"I'm just saying, they made Pidge a silly character to undermind the fact that he's also the most useful. It makes them seem more equal." One of the scientists said.
"You're out of your mind." the other scientist responds, not looking up from his smartphone.
You look, both scientists seem to be smaller gentlemen, definitely not the stock of the guards out front. And on the counter in the opposite corner of the room were their belongings including something that looked like a key card.
[[Make a run for the card]]
[[Talk to the scientists]] Ethan decides to casually walk up to the scientists and sit down at a nearby table.
"You know, personally? I was always a fan of the red lion. It got to hold the flaming sword." Ethan says, trying to engage the conversation.
"How the hell are you?" the first scientist says as the second scientist pockets his phone and stands with him.
"Listen, guys, I just need to talk to the head scientist. He's expecting us. You mind if I borrow your key card?"
The two scientists pull stun batons from under their coats.
"How about we just lead you to him?" the second scientist says as he grabs the key card on his way out.
[[Go with the scientists]] Ethan decided the time for action is now and using Roxy's speed he sprints for the card, leaping over a table on his way. He rans past the counter and grabs the card while the scientists still process what they're seeing.
"Stop!" one of them yells. They both reach into their coats and pull stun batons, immediately giving chase.
Ethan flees out of the cafeteria, card in hand and swipe the card, running through the enterance of the laboratory, closing the door on the two scientists who no longer have a key card. He take a deep breath.
"Hello there, Ethan." a calm voice says from behind him.
[[Turn around]] Ethan opens the door to the Janitor's Closet the rest of the way. It was filled with the normal tools of a maintenance person. Mops, buckets, hammers, a pry bar and various other things line the closet.
"I can't think of anything here we can use" Roxy said, disappointedly.
As Ethan continues to look, he moves the bucket and the mop topples to the ground with a loud clack.
"What was that?" a muffled voice says outside the door.
[[Hide in a locker]]
[[Stand your ground]] Ethan checks the lockers, finding the majority of them empty and a few with locks. Not a single locker without a lock had anything of use in it.
The most useful thing Ethan found is a receipt from a coffee shop letting you know the barrista's name was "Kristy".
"Well that's useful." Roxy chuckled.
[[Search Janitor's Closet]]
[[Enter the Cafeteria]] Ethan hops into one of the lockers, squeezing the door as shut as he can.
Two scientists enter, looking around.
"I'm just saying, the black lion was the head. He was easily the least active one. They didn't even need one. They could all see." the one scientist said to the other as they turned to leave, satisfied no one was there.
Ethan sighs, taking a deep breath.
[[Search the lockers]]
[[Enter the Cafeteria]] "Looks like we're in for a fight, chief" Roxy said as your fists clench at the read.
Two scientists run in, pulling out stun batons as soon as they see you.
"Can we help you?" one of the scientists said, gripping his baton tightly.
"I'm here to talk to the lead scientist? He's expecting me." Ethan said, hopefully.
"Well that's great cause that's where you're going anyways." the second scientist said as they coax you out of the room and into the hallway.
[[Go with the scientists]] The scientists lead Ethan to the door and, with a swipe of their card, lead him inside the lab.
Inside, a massive room sprawls out before them. A huge vat with a strange fluid sits in front of an older man in a lab coat.
"Yes?" the older man says.
"Found this guy wondering around without an ID." the first scientist said.
The older man squints, looking Ethan over. "Ethan! What a pleasant surprise! You saved me an incredible amount of trouble coming here. Please, guards, leave us."
The scientists look at each, shrug, and leave.
"Well that's not worrisome at all." Roxy said.
[[Approach the old man]] You turn around slowly and see an older man standing behind a large vat. He reaches into his coat and pulls out a walkie.
"It's ok, gentleman. I was expecting him." As he put the walkie back in his pocket, the pounding on the door stopped.
"Ethan, you saved me a lot of trouble of having to come find you. Thank you for that."
"Well that's welcoming" Ethan heard Roxy say in the back of his head.
[[Approach the old man]] Ethan took a step towards the older man. As he did the man pulled a small revolver out of his coat, aiming it at Ethan.
"Oh, you're fine there. Don't worry yourself." the man said. "So, is it just you or," he tapped his temple, "do you have someone with you?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Ethan said.
Sighing, the old man said, "Cut the crap, Ethan."
"Yeah, there's someone. You wouldn't know her."
"Oh, well if I had known I was in the prescence of a lady I would have been a bit more polite. My apologies." the old man said as he put his gun away.
"Gee, thanks" Roxy thought.
[[Ask what he wants]] "So what do you want with me?" Ethan asked the old man.
"You know. Or you're pretty sure you know. We want your abilities. The ability to not only commune with the dead but to, in death, essentially live forever through others." the old man replied.
"It doesn't work like that. I have to willingly summon them and then they can choose to leave. It's not like they'd have a new body." Ethan said, more than annoyed.
"For now. But that's where experimentation comes into play. Imagine if we can trigger the areas of the brain that, essentially open the door and lock it. All we need is a simple scan of your brain. What do you say?"
Ethan felt an involuntary shudder. "I don't like this," Roxy said in a nervous voice.
[[Agree to a simple scan]]
[[Charge the old man]] Ethan took a step forward. "I'll make a deal with you. I let you scan me and you give me information on Victor Samson. No fighting, no trickery, just information for information."
The old man smiled. "Of course! Excellent. I was hoping there would be some way to go about this without needless dramatics. Please, proceed to the table."
"I really don't like this, Ethan." Roxy said, her fear apparent.
"It's the only way," Ethan thought back to her.
Ethan approached the table.

[[Prodigal Son]]You take a step towards the doctor and realize he didn't flinch or aim for the gun.
"I think his guards down," Roxy said, nervously.
You take the opportunity and leap with the doctor. Before the doctor can grip the gun in his jacket you knock him out.
"That guy is horrifying!" Roxy exclaimed.
"Yeah, but now we need to figure out how to get info on Samson."

Go back to the start
[[Prodigal Son]]As Ethan enters the building he finds himself in a hall way. To his right is a room marked security that was hanging open. On his left he can see through a window on the door into a garage. And straight ahead was clearly the lobby because he could hear the receptionist on the phone.
"OK, obviously we don't want the lobby." Ethan whispers.
[[Move into the Security Office]]
[[Move into the Garage]] Ethan leans into the security office and sees a small unit of lockers, bathrooms and a cheap table with a half eaten lunch.
"Damnit!" Nathan yells suddenly, almost making you jump. "I was really expecting this to be one of those rooms with monitors everywhere hooked up to camera."
"I haven't seen any cameras so far," Ethan replies.
"True. But crap. It doesn't look like there's anything here."
[[Move into the Garage]] Ethan slowly opens the door to the garage and looks around for any signs of life. Nothing. He walks in and sees a large Immortech truck and a bunch of shelves. The lighting is a bit terrible and the little moon light coming in from the exhaust opening in the ceiling shines eerie light in from above.
"This is seriously the most barebones facility I've ever seen. It's this, that security room and a lobby? I call shenanigans." Nathan said.
"Yeah, this is too much security for whatever's on these shelves." Ethan says as he approaches them. Looking at the shelves he sees a bunch of miscellany and junk.
"Oh! I do like people who can appreciate a wealth of spanners." Nathan said as he sees a shelf practically covered in them. "Wait check out the shelf back there. That's...odd."
Ethan looks and sees a shelf against the wall. Unlike the others, this one appears organized with plain boxes on each shelf.
[[Approach the shelving unit]] Ethan walks over to the odd shelf.
"Nathan, what do you think they keep here?" Ethan thought.
"Dunno. But can't be too important if they never labeled the boxes."
Ethan grabs a box and was startled by how light it was. He opens it and finds it was completely empty.
"Oh no THAT is weird." Ethan said out loud.
He moves across the shelf, tapping the boxes and feeling each to be empty. As he moves he stepped on the mat and heard a metal clank.
"Oh please tell me that's what I think it is," Nathan says excitedly.
[[Lift the mat]] Ethan kneels down and attempts to peel the mat up. It comes right up but not as he expected. Instead of peeling it lifts like a flat panel. Hinge joints hiding under the shelf lifting the mat up like a trap door.
"Oh my god, they really have a trap door." Ethan chuckled to himself. "That's like, Super Villainy 101."
"Meanwhile, in the Hall of Doom." Nathan laughed.
Under the door, a ladder extends about 40 feet to a white tiled floor.
"Well? Into the rabbit hole, right?" Nathan said, a little nervous as you both look down the ladder.
[[Down we go]] The coast clear he takes in the setting. Ethan's at the end of a long white hallway. At the end of the hallway are three doors.
Upon further examination he sees the one in the middle is marked "Laboratory" and is locked via key card panel.
"Obviously that's where we want to be. Clearly we can't go that way though." Nathan said, adding a sigh.
The other two doors were marked "Locker Room" (on the left) and "Cafeteria" (on the right). From the cafeteria a muffled conversation could be heard between two people about some sort of robots in space.
"Are they talking about Voltron?" Nathan asks.
"You know it, Pidge." Ethan responds.
[[Check out the locker room]]
[[Check out the cafeteria]] As Ethan walks into the locker room he sees the expected. Lockers lined the walls, a janitor's closet was on the back right and a series of toilets were in the back left, including a bunch of urinals which Ethan's eyes oddly locked on.
"Just remember, if you go I will literally be forced to watch." Nathan said.
"Oh yeah. Crap." Ethan said, putting his thoughts of relief on the backburner for now.
[[Examine the lockers]]
[[Examine the janitor's closet]] Ethan enters the cafeteria and the door swings silently enough where the scientists aren't alerted to your presence.
"I'm just saying, they made Pidge a silly character to undermind the fact that he's also the most useful. It makes them seem more equal." One of the scientists says.
"You're out of your mind." the other scientist responds, not looking up from his sandwich.
You look, both scientists seem to be smaller gentlemen, definitely not the stock of the guards out front. And on the counter in the opposite corner of the room were their belongings including something that looked like a key card.
"Two against one. We wouldn't stand a chance," Nathan said.
"Agreed." Ethan thought.
[[Check out the locker room]]
[[Persuade a card off them]] Ethan checks the lockers, finding the majority of them empty and a few with locks. Not a single locker without a lock had anything of use in it.
The most useful thing Ethan found is a receipt from a restaurant that said someone spend $63.78 on sushi.
"Christ, where was the paycheck to afford stuff like that when I was alive?" Nathan jokes.
As Ethan placed the receipt back, he bumped the door, making a loud clanging noise as it smacked the neighboring locker.
"What was that?" a voice exclaims from outside.
[[Hideout in a locker]]
[[Try and stand your ground]] Ethan opens the door to the Janitor's Closet the rest of the way. It was filled with the normal tools of a maintenance person. Mops, buckets, hammers, a pry bar and various other things line the closet.
"Oh man! Grab that hammer and flathead screwdriver!" Nathan says as you grab the tools and throw them in the bag.
[[Go to the lab doors]]
[[Check out the cafeteria]] "Maybe it'll just be one guy right? It's a skeleton crew." Nathan said nervously as Ethan readied himself.
[[Let the scientists take you]] Ethan hops into one of the lockers, squeezing the door as shut as he can.
Two scientists enter, looking around.
"I'm just saying, the black lion was the head. He was easily the least active one. They didn't even need one. They could all see." the one scientist said to the other as they turned to leave, satisfied no one was there.
Ethan sighs, taking a deep breath.
"That guy did NOT just talk smack about the black lion. That was the leader, Ethan!" Nathan mock sounded sad.
"I know buddy, it'll be ok."
[[Examine the janitor's closet]]
[[Check out the cafeteria]] Back at the lab doors Ethan can faintly hear the conversation continue in the cafeteria.
"You under estimate the mice, yeah, they were goofy but they were the perfect spies." one voice said.
"That guy got the weirdest things out of that show." Nathan said, tisking. "Anyways, get out the hammer and screwdriver."
Ethan removes the tools let Nathan take the helm for a brief moment. He uses the tools to carefully pop the covering off the keycard. Then, doing something to the wires there's a clicking noise and Ethan finds himself back in control.
"Your charity awaits." Nathan says as Ethan enters the lab.
[[Check out the lab]] Ethan calmly approached the scientists. "Personally? My money's on the red lion. He got to form the flaming sword."
Both scientists jumped. "Who are you?" said one of them as he rose to his feet.
"It's cool. I'm just a tech. I got called here because your communications grid was on the fritz." Ethan replied, pretending to be a tech.
"No one called for one and nothing's broken," the second scientist did as he stood, pulling a stun baton.
"Yeah? Check your phones. How's the internet treating you?" Ethan smiled.
The two men checked their phones.
"Jesus, no wonder I haven't gotten any notifications off Facebook in the last hour." the second scientist said.
"Yeah, anywho, I gotta talk to the guy in charge about getting you guys back online. Care if I grab the card?" Ethan asked.
"Sure!" said the second guard. "Let us know when we're back up, ok?"
[[Return to the Lab Doors]] Ethan approaches the door, key card in hand.
"You ready for this, Ethan?" Nathan said, concern in his voice.
"We need to do this, Nathan. So yeah." Ethan replied before swiping the card.
There was a beep, a click, and Ethan walked through the unmarked doors.
[[Check out the lab]] Ethan enters the lab and for a moment his eyes felt like they're spasming as Nathan takes control of them, taking an inventory of everything in the room.
"Oh my god this is the coolest tech I've ever seen. There's stuff here even I can't identify. Oh...like that guy." Nathan said.
Ethan focuses on where Nathan's looking at just in time for an old man standing behind a large vat to see Ethan and jump.
"My goodness, Ethan, is that you? Well this is an unexpected treat." the old man said.
"Oh, well this guy is eight shades of Victor Frankenstein." Nathan said quietly.
[[Walk towards the old man]] The scientists lead Ethan out of the cafeteria and to the lab. With a swipe of the key card the doors unlock and they push you through.
"Sir! We found this man snooping around the building." says the first guard.
"Nonsense, I was expecting him. Ethan, welcome. You two may go, thank you for bringing him here." the old man says, smiling.
The scientists turned and left. As the door started to close, Ethan yelled, "Pidge sucks!"
Nathan laughs.
"Well, this is such an unexpected treat." the old man said.
[[Walk towards the old man]] Ethan takes a step towards the older man. As he does the man pulls a small revolver out of his coat, aiming it at Ethan.
You wouldn't know him."
"Well, tell your friend I'm just as excited for him being here as I am you."
"Yeah, that's terrific." Nathan said.
[[Inquire what the old man wants]] "So what do you want with me?" Ethan asked the old man.
Ethan felt an involuntary twinge in his stomach. "This guy is a grade-A super villain, Ethan." Nathan said, worried.
[[Attack the old man]]
[[Agree to a safe scan]] Ethan took a step forward. "I'll make a deal with you. I let you scan me and you give me information on Victor Samson. No fighting, no trickery, just information for information."
The old man smiled, putting his gun away. "Of course! Excellent. I was hoping there would be some way to go about this without needless dramatics. Please, proceed to the table."
"You're letting Lex Luthor here scan you?" Nathan said, shocked.
"It's the only way," Ethan thought back to him.
Ethan approached the table.
[[Lay down]]
[[Attack when he's close]] "You understand that if he scans you he's going to be hurting a lot of people if this information gets out right? We can't let him do this." Nathan said.
Ethan bites his lip and charges the old man. Grabbing the lip of the vat, he attempts to leap over and dive at the old man but the old man shoots Ethan in the leg and he slips in the vat.
Ethan hears the muffled angry yells of the old man and the terrified clear screams of Nathan as the old man holds you under the liquid in the vat as everything around you grows dark.

[[Prodigal Son]]"Ethan, he put his gun away. Now's your chance!" Nathan yelled.
Ethan grabs the old man by the back of the head and slams his head into one of the counters, knocking him out cold. Ethan then takes the old man's gun and pockets it.
"Nathan, I need you to get on these computers and find out everything you can about Samson!" Ethan said to the man in his head.
